A run-down house stood before him, its worn exterior telling tales of years gone by. It wasn't any better than his aunt's house, but it was definitely cleaner. However, as he took a deep breath, a distinct aroma overwhelmed his senses.

He unconsciously covered his nose with his hand to avoid the spicy stench, causing Grandma Bingbing to click her tongue. 

"Goodness. You always act like you haven't smelled the scent of onions for three years now," she said, opening the windows to make the fresh air enter. 

Kai sat at the small chair, looking around the house like a lost kid.

"We really need to talk about your behavior, Kai," Grandma Bingbing scolded.

Kai, albeit confused, stood from the chair and entered what seemed to be his room. It wasn't really difficult to decipher that it was his. There was some vandal writing on the door, and the walls were covered with photos of weapons and cool anime girls dressed in robot costumes. 

He opened the closet doors and found clothes he wouldn't even think of wearing. Then, his eyes caught a glimpse of a red towel, so he quickly grabbed it and made his way to the bathroom. 

There, he saw warm water in a basin, causing him to smile. Grandma Bingbing must have prepared it for him. 

Kai started removing his clothes but stopped when he felt a phone inside the pocket of his shorts. He brought it out and was surprised to see it didn't have a password. 

Then, he saw the date and time.

It was the same day. Then, he saw the location on the phone's top bar.

He started removing his dirty clothes but halted as he pulled his underwear down.
