10 10. Baron And Majer Go To Human's World

Baron obeys to return to his house immediately and take a shower. He cleans the blood which had dried up. He sees something like greenish smoke carried by water. Muv is right; Neyan's attack contains poison.

He felt lucky because he was able to recover quickly. He could not believe Neyan was angry and have the heart to attack him. Neyan's actions made him even less willing to marry her.

Baron wears clean clothes and eats his dinner alone.

He lives alone in his house. His father had died on the battlefield. And about his mother, after he was born into the world, he never saw his mother.

He moved into this house after his father died. Previously he lived in the palace, where the generals lived. He felt uncomfortable staying there because everybody urged him to become a soldier just like his father.

Baron loves freedom. He likes living in the forest, like Majer's house. By the way, just as he was thinking about the name, there was a sudden knock on the door.

Baron opens the door, and not surprising to see Majer smiling at him.

"Hi, Baron," said Majer. "I heard from Loma, he said that you were summoned by King Valo. Looks like you will marry Princess Neyan soon."

Baron snorted. He goes inside his house, Majer follows him.

"I have refused the match," Baron confessed to Majer.

Majer is shocked. "Seriously. Are you kidding? How can you refuse the king's orders? You will be sentenced to death!" exclaimed Majer.

"I had received an attack from Neyan." Baron showed his neck to Majer. The wound on his neck had healed and left a slight reddish hue.

"Princess Neyan attacked you? I can't believe it. She must be very mad at you." Baron nods. "All that I know, Princess Neyan is never angry at all."

"How lucky I am to have seen her angry and became the victim of her attack."

Majer sighed. "Baron, you better think again. You can't go against the king's orders unless you want to die. "

"I didn't plan to die shortly. I better go to the human world. Gradually I became stressed living in Emporion Land." Baron takes a sip of drinking water from the glass until it runs out, then places the empty glass on the table. "Do you want to go with me?"

"No." Majer shook her head. "I don't want to risk my own life."

"It's not that bad. You have to try it sometimes. That would be fun." Baron stands up and gets ready with his magic bag and sword.

"By the way, you never practiced swords with me again," said Majer. "Are you sure you can use it?"

"Hopefully I can use it."

"It is your late father's sword. You can definitely use it."

Majer watches as Baron puts the sword into a small magic red pouch that could fill all kinds of objects with a large and enormous capacity without worrying about the weight. The pocket will feel light in the pocket of his pants.

"You know, I would love to invite you to the human world. There is a lot of handsome guys who wear nice clothes."

Majer laughed. "You want me to date a human? How can they see me? You're stupid."

Baron laughed too. He thought, how can he marry a human if they can't see him? His world in Emporion Land and the human world is different. Anyway, why did he think about that?

Taking a walk into the human world is just for fun. Hopefully, Baron won't have to see The Catcher again. He drew his magic compass.

"Come on, let's go now!" exclaimed Baron, pulling Majer's hand.

"Baron!"

Baron transforms into a labrador, and Majer turns into a tiger. Majer's body looks so big beside him. Their eyes looked at each other. Majer gives him a tiger grin.

"What if Kumar doesn't allow me to go?" asked Majer through his mind so that Baron could understand Majer's words.

"Me and Kumar are friends. Don't worry, we can definitely go to the human world."

Majer growled in agreement. They continue running towards the portal door, which was not far from the Emporion palace. Baron stares at the castle fortress from a distance. He hopes that Princess Neyan does not know about his departure into the human world.

They arrived in front of a gate and changed their form again into a human. The gate opened by itself. Baron signaled to Majer; then they walked inside.

There is a lot of fog in there, and several lanterns glow as road markers. They climb the stairs to the top. Various trees and lush plants are around them.

At the top of the stairs, they are facing a large door. Baron takes a deep breath. "Kumar, it's me, Baron. I'm with Majer. Please allow us to go."

The large door slid sideways, causing a sound and vibration on the floor. Baron and Majer then step their feet inside.

Kumar is standing in the middle of a large room holding a magic sword whose tip was facing the floor. A colored light glow behind him.

There are windows open all around, showing a fantastic view of the outside. Baron can see the palace from here.

"Where do you want to go, Baron?" asked Kumar. His voice was deep. Majer looked shrunken beside him.

"We are going to the human world," answered Baron.

"Are you guys going on a date? I thought you would marry Princess Neyan soon."

Baron laughed. "You are kidding. Me and Majer are just friends. I don't want to date a tiger girl. They are too fierce for me."

Majer pushed Baron's shoulder. "Seriously?"

"Very well," said Kumar. "Whatever you do in the human world, don't pose a threat to the Emporion Land. If that happens, then you will get a harsh punishment. Do you promise? "

"Yes, I promise."

"How about you, young lady?" Kumar asks Majer.

"Yes, I promise it too." Majer looked down with a hand on her chest in a respectful manner.

"Get ready."

Kumar popped a needle from his back. The colorful light scattered in the air. The compass on Baron's chest shook and glowed. Then Kumar raised his sword and pressed it to the floor. The light exploded.

Baron and Majer rise into the air. Baron immediately catches Majer's hand so that he wouldn't be separated from her. The gaze in front of him swirled fast. Colorful lights flashed like a rainbow. Majer looks scared; her hand is holding Baron's hand very hard.

Finally, the multicolored light fades away. Baron and Majer are landing in the middle of a garden at twilight. The sun will set soon. Baron blinks his eyes, trying to adjust to the situation around him.

The times in the Emporion and the human world have always been different. Majer puts on a stance and takes out her sword from the magic bag. She seems wary of paying attention to her surroundings. The park is empty, with no one there.

"Are you all right, Majer?"

"No. This is not our world. We have to be careful, Baron. Take out your sword!" Majer ordered.

"Majer." Baron lowered Majer's sword. "Relax. We'll be fine. Trust me."
