Town trip part 4

As I wake up next to Amani the first thing I notice is that she has coiled around me wrapping the length of her body around mine for warmth to the point that I can't move my arms or my legs which normally would worry me but I know I can trust Amani with my life.

"Amani you mind unwrapping me we have to get going as soon as possible"

"Ahhh no five more minutes Jeager me too sleepy"

"C'mon Amani you don't want to miss out on breakfast it smells like bacon, eggs, ham , and cheese and I'm very hungry.

As I finished speaking Amani's body shoots straight while uncoiling from around my body and says "okay okay I'm awake let's go get some breakfast Jeager"

As me and Amani get to the ground floor of the inn we both take a seat and order the restaurant's breakfast special which is buttermilk biscuits with scrambled eggs covered in cheese and a huge helping of maple smoked bacon which what I call a real breakfast hahaha

While trying to ignore the stares me and Amani got because of how much we were eating I almost didn't notice Lilith walk up to the table as if she wanted to say something important

As Lilith approached the table she asks " How are you enjoying your breakfast M'lord"

"It's really good Lilith thanks for asking and please don't call me M'lord my name is Jeager. How can I help you today pretty lady."

"Oh please don't say such silly things I haven't been beautiful since the accident ruined my face."

"LIES AND SLANDER. Lilith you are one of the few truly beautiful people out there because you have kept upbeat despite your accident and I don't let anyone feel sorry for themselves in my presence it makes me feel useless. Now what was it you wanted to ask me pretty lady?"

"Right sorry I always get distracted when people mention my appearance. Umm so I heard from Dominique that you are hiring people to live at your castle with you and I was wondering if I could be hired on to cook for you and your people."

"Of course Lilith your cooking is to die for and besides you and Dominique seem to close separate such good friends on that note lets get moving so you can meet my fiance Althea with whom you should get along with quite nicely."

As I finish eating and talking we leave the inn and meet up with the others at the gates to the town and start towards the castle.

-A couple hours later-

As we approach the castle I see Althea surrounded by wild beasts of all shapes and sizes including everything from dire wolves to a couple of dryads of which one approaches and says " Hello Barbarian your mate has made a pact with us and in exchange you don't pointlessly destroy the forests and we will keep away your enemies
