You Passed

If the words beautiful and sexy had an image, Gio Tocca would be it. She had just turned legal, 18years, and she couldn't wait to put her new found freedom to good use. She was ecstatic that she can now legally drink, legally own a gun, legally have sex, legally get married, she was legally allowed now to do all the things she's been illegally doing for the past three years. Raised by a single young parent didn't give her enough rules to be a typical good girl next door. She was wild and now she had all the freedom to do whatever she's been fantasizing about.

For the past few months her mother, Danielle Tocca, has been on her neck about going back to school and getting a degree and all, but Gio isn't having that. Not now when she can explore the world and find out who she really is before she gets tied to a career.

Danielle and Gio are more like sisters than mother and daughter. Gio was busy imagining all the things she had to do before she finds a career when Danielle's voice disturbed her, "all your friends are in school, building their careers and you just here eating my food all day!"

Gio sighed exasperatedly, "Mum!" she cried out without tears "would you let up already?" she huffed and got up to leave the house. Danielle kept shouting behind her, "Hey, I'm still talking!" Gio was already out the door. "Gio, come back here!" Danielle's voice faded as she made her way to the gate, hailing a cab.

Gio has been sensing someone watching her since she left the house, she spotted a black tinted car following her cab. She ignored it and made her way to the mall.

Starbucks was not crowded so she got herself a table and had her frappuccino. She felt uneasy as she noticed a man sitting opposite her who kept looking at her. She couldn't take it anymore and took her frappuccino and left.

The sun was sunny and bright, not having anything to do, she decided to take a walk in the park. There was a stall selling ice cream by the entrance of the park and she got herself one, she saw a man in the same clothing as the one in Starbucks standing in a queue before her and irritation grew in her. Was she being followed? Why?

Not wanting to be in this place anymore she made her way to the road to hail for herself a cab before seeing the same black tinted car by the corner. It parked strategically to hide itself. Oh flip it! Gio thought to herself and made her way to the car and knocked hard on the driver's window. The window rolled down and before she could say anything the man extended his arm to offer her a piece of pink paper. She reflexively took the paper and before she could do or say anything the car had already sped off.

What the h*ll?!! She looked at the paper and there was a beautifully handwritten message on it: YOU PASSED
