Chapter 2: Hospital

Bandit woke up in the hospital because he felt a bit thirsty, but to his surprise he saw he was handcuffed to a hospital bed. Then when he heard the door opening he saw it was a doctor and Chilli. "Chilli what happened? Why am I here?" The question shocked Chilli. "Bandit you yelled at Bluey, told me to "Swip Off" and you tried to eat Bingo!" "Do you not remember that? What was the last thing you remember?" Chilli explained to find out what happened with Bandit. "Well, I was cutting carrots for the soup then everything went black." Mrs. Heeler may you excuse us Dr. Akea told me we need to do a couple of tests on Bandit, we estimate he might have rabies." Dr. Kennel the dachshund explained. "R-rabies?"

STRIPE'S HOUSE

Ding Dong* the door bell rang. "Hello?" Stripe looked down. "Hi Uncle Stripe." Bluey and Bingo said together. "Kids where is Bandit and Chilli?" Stripe asked confused. "Mum told us we need to stay here until they come back from the hospital." Bluey and Bingo explains. "H-hospital?" Stripe was confused, he then started to call Bandit. Ring Ring* the phone rang. The phone has been picked up. "Hello? Bandit?" Stripe says to the dog at the other end of the phone. "Hi Stripe, me and Bandit are in the hospital." "What for?" Stripe asks surprised. "Bandit went Ham Bananas on Bing-" Chilli at the other end stopped and the call was ended. Stripe thought she was about to say Bingo so he looked at Bingo and saw Bingo bleeding from her neck. "OH SHOOT, TRIXIE GET THE MEDICAL KIT."

BACK AT HOSPITAL 

"So what does it say Dr. Kennel?" Chilli asks. "This is the weirdest type of rabie cell I've ever seen." Dr. Kennel explains. Chilli took a close look at it and the cell looks dead. "H-how?" Chilli asks concerned. "I don't know, this cell isn't in our Biology Textbook." Dr. Kennel explains. "We may need to do surgery or give him a vaccine on him Mrs. Heeler." "S-surgery? V-vaccine?" Bandit says sounding shocked. "Don't worry Bandit I'll come back tomorrow."

BACK AT STRIPE'S HOUSE

"STOP HURTING HER AUNT TRIXIE!" Bluey screams at Trixie. "C'mon Bluey I need to do this so her injury doesn't get contaminated." Trixie tries to explain to Bluey. "Go upstairs with your cousins." Bluey starts to run upstairs and she enters the bathroom and locks the door. "Bluey can you come play with me and Socks?" Muffin asks Bluey. "No go away." "Pleeeaassseee" "No!" Bluey was starting to get furious. "Please Bluey?" "SWIP OFF YOU CHATTER MOUTH!" Bluey screamed at Muffin, Bluey didn't understand what Swip meant she just heard her mum say that. After Trixie was done she heard commotion upstairs. "Kids what's wrong?" "Bluey yelled at me" Muffin said while crying to her mum. "Bluey tell me what's wrong sweetheart?" "No go away." "Please Bluey, I'll understand." "SHUT UP YOU FAT SWIP!" Trixie was shocked. "BLUEY OPEN THE DOOR NOW." Trixie unlocked the door and Bluey was on the floor still crying, now Trixie understood why she yelled at her and Muffin. "Alright Bluey I'm going to bring you Ice Cream and probably tell us what happened." Trixie went to get the Ice Cream and Bluey sat down on the couch. Trixie handed Bluey the Ice Cream and Bluey started to eat it and explain what happened. "So while dad was making soup he was cutting carrots then he yelled because he accidentally cut his finger so when mum came he started to lick his finger then when mum told him to not do that he yelled at her, called her a "Flesh Stealer" and yelled words I never heard of at her so when I came in he y-yelled a-at m-me…" Bluey starts to cry but continues the story. "So after I was crying on my bed mum came to comfort me until we heard Bingo was left in the kitchen so we went and saw dad biting Bingo's neck and-he called her a…" "A Little Red Coot." Bingo finished off for Bluey. "He said he was about to turn me into-his next meal- and he-he said h-he always h-hated m-m-me and what mattered to h-him was my f-flesh." Bingo starts to cry and Bluey tried comforting her. "Trixie, this may sound so awful, but I think Bandit has…"

AT THE HOSPITAL

"Mrs. Heeler, your husband has… Rabies."
