1 Chapter 1: Dreams

When Jayson climbed the top of the 33rd floor of the unfinished building, it took him over twenty minutes more than he expected and it was already five-thirty in in the afternoon. At this time, he had already sweating, panting and leaning on the wall. His suit had been thrown on the ground and he looked embarrassed, unhappy and no enthusiasm in this passed years.

"I think the best moment of my life was actually in California Institute of Technology, when I was playing point guard the team in my graduating year " Jayson sat down and stroked his sore legs.

After a few minutes of rest, he struggled to get up and strangely look around the rooftop that was no longer like before the last time he came for inspection

"I don't know who transformed it into a small basketball court but there are a lot of graffiti and quotes on the wall. The good one is "Always be someone who wants to win, I don't want to be a second place..."

If it was few years ago, he would feel that the person who wrote these quotation's as motto were too naive and young. However, now he feels inexplicable vigorous and daring.

"It seems that the people who made this court are Kobe's fans" he said, but soon this guess was destroyed when he saw a no. 30 jersey hanging on the other end with a bridge logo, gold and black color fluttering in the wind.

"Hey, it turned out to be fans of Stephen Curry" when he thought of Stephen Curry, Jayson's mind couldn't help but reminiscence the past.

He remembered that fourteen years ago, at that time he was still in United States. Stephen Curry was a fan of him who was eager to seek guidance from him. He never dreamed that someday Stephen Curry will be so crazy after a decade, will achieve all kinds of records like,

Jayson even brag to his subordinates that Stephen Curry's dribbling was taught by himself but the reply was always…

"Don't tease us, Boss... then we also taught NBA superstar like Lebron play basketball.. Ha Ha Ha…!"Accompanied with everyone laughing.

He began to think of the night of fifteen years ago, on the night he was drunk as he is today. It was just accident at that time but now death is certain result of his choice as he jumps off the building's rooftop.

Also that night, after ending the bar party with his teammates and he suddenly encountered a bizarre situation while driving on the to his Los Angeles residence. A strange white bearded old man is playing basketball in the middle of the road.

Maybe it's Uncle Drew doing some tricks for the future reference, in order to avoid the old man he turned the steering wheel and the car was off road, then hanging on a tree by the cliff. Then another bizarre scene happen, was words in front on him with shining effects that pop up out of nowhere is…

"Do you want to be the god of basketball?"

"You got two choices…"

" Yes! Or Yes!"

"Do I have a choice, it's either I die after the car fall down the cliff. At that moment felt the world was crazy but his unwilling to believe it's true because such lot should be plot of a science fiction movie.

"How unlucky it to be associated with the damn basketball again..."

So he hesitates to point yes, during this time he never thought about again becoming a basketball player coz during college that time he was at end of the bench and water boy in the team. He didn't want again to put himself as a joke so he finished his education and go back home to inherit the family business.

In the end, the car fell off the cliff and the water quickly entered the car. Time passed for a long, ocean water enters his car and his body was stuck in the driver seat. Unable to get of the critical moment, he finally clicked yes in front him. Then the confused Jayson hear the familiar voice of his eldest sister.

"Jayson... Tupa!!! Are you listening to me! If you're not going home by 1 am, I'm going to burn you things!!" Shery's voice was sharp

A familiar voice awakened his consciousness. When he woke up, he found his hands on the front of the wind shield and some sweat on his palms. At this time he was completely awake. Then he turned his attention to his smartphone but unable to find it and he heard his eldest sister Shery's voice.

"Jayson, I will ask again, when are you coming back? Do want things turned to ashes" Shery's voice was sharp and there's heavy sigh of breath in the end .

He pulled out his hands on the glass and when he pulls out his hand, a white spot of light that suddenly got into his body from his palm and at the center it, there's glowing a word "System!!"

Jayson was dumbfounded.

"Is this a dream? Didn't I fall into the cliff? How many dreams do I have?..."
