5 New People

~(Y/N) Point of View

I was fully dressed in my uniform, hero suit case in hand and met Midoriya outside the dorms. There, he and I met Aizawa-sensei and a tall blonde boy in his uniform.

"(F/N), this is Mirio Togata. He's one of the big three as you know and, a handful." He said looking scornfully as Mirio who laughed it off.

"Oh Aizawa-sensei, you joker." He held out his hand. "Wow, your beautiful. Nice to meet you."

I chuckled and shook his hand.

"Nice to meet you too. I'm (F/N) (L/N)."

"Now, I think it's safe to warn you beforehand, but Sir Nighteye may not seem like a kind person. But he actually really loves a good laugh. If you don't make a good impression, he may not want to take you in." As he was explaining, Aizawa-sensei came over by my side and nudged me.

"The pills work?" He asked quietly.

I smiled and nodded. He nodded and started to walk away but I tugged his sleeve.

"Thank you." I whispered.

I never meant it like that before. The pain was undeniable and I almost saw stars. But after I took one. The pain was non-existent, and I made it through thanks to him.

He smiled and walked away.

"I'll see you two later." He waved.

"Say, (L/N)." Togata asked me.

"Hmm?" I said turning to him.

He approached and got a lot closer than I expected. He picked at the bandages around my neck.

"What happened?" He asked smoothing it back into place.

"Oh, hurt myself, an accident. I swear, I would be an amazing hero if I wasn't able to do some of the impossible." I giggled.

Togata smiled and marched towards UA's gates.

"Well, then. I think we'll get along just fine. How well do you and Midoriya get along? It doesn't seem too hard since Midoriya is such a sweet gut, but you are a girl and we all know how Midoriya gets around girls." Togata said winking at Midoriya.

He blushed and covered his face with his hands.

"(Y/N)!"

I turn around to see Mina, Kirishima, Kaminari, Bakugou, and Todoroki waving from the porch.

"Bye your three! Stay safe!" Kirishima called.

Bakugou was frowning at them but when I looked at him, his face softened and he winked before turning around and walking inside. Todoroki waved, one hand behind his head.

You grin at them and wave.

"Catch ya later!"

~Mirio's Point of View~

I was waiting with Aizawa-sensei when a pretty girl walked out, case in hand and stood next to Midoriya.

She has (E/C) eyes and (H/C) long hair down to her waist. She's taller than Midoriya but a bit shorter than me. She smiled at Midoriya and turned her attention on me.

Aizawa-sensei introduced us and she broke into an adorable grin.

"Nice to meet you too, I'm (F/N) (L/N)." As she shook my hand.

We were walking off into the gates as I thought about her and Midoriya meeting Sir Nighteye. I don't think he'll be too hard on them. As long as they got a little humor in their lives.

We walked to the Nighteye Agency and entered the building. I was greeted by Bubble Girl like any other day and this time, I had friends.

"Hey Mirio." She waved. "Who are these two?" She smiled kindly at Midoriya and (L/N).

"Izuku Midoriya and (F/N) (L/N). They want to join me on their intern course here."

One of the things I loved about Bubble Girl was that she was always okay with putting up with Sir Nighteye's antics. She was definitely a person for the job.

"Sure, he's expecting you I hear. Head on in."

I thanked her and walked to Sir Nighteye's office. He was sitting at his desk, laying out paperwork when I arrived.

"Good morning sir!" I greeted him cheerfully.

He looked at me with his usual small smile and waved us in.

"Mirio! Come in. I understand you have two possible members?" He quirked an eyebrow at (F/N) and Midoriya.

"Yes sir. I I think they have potential."

~(F/N) Point of View~

I walked into a room that was similar to one you'd expect from an All Might fanclub member. There were posters figurines, and stickers.

IT WAS SO CUTE!

I grinned at the room and Midoriya noticed.

"You a fan too?" He asked smiling at me.

"I don't collect posters or things." I pulled out my phone and showed him a picture of All Might I had drawn a few months ago. "But I do like drawing what I love."

Midoriya's smile broke into a grin and he grabbed my phone and studied it.

"This is amazing!" He cried.

"Midoriya and (F/N) both attend the hero course. I have no idea what (F/N)'s quirk is but Midoriya's is a power type.

"Hmm." Sir Nighteye looked Midoriya up and down, then looked at Mirio and I. "I would like to speak to Midoriya alone if you don't mind."

I cocked my head, slightly confused and left with Togata.

"He's gonna be okay, right?" I asked following Togata.

"I'm sure he'll be fine, the only thing you'll have to worry about is him being too harsh." He said waving it off.

I looked back, worried for Midoriya's kind and gentle personality.

"So, what do you do here with SIr Nighteye?" I asked catching up to him.

"Few things. Patrolling, helping around the office. Little things and big things. I guess patrolling is my favorite part. A sort of happiness comes across me when I walk out on the streets in my hero costume and people feel as ease." He said smiling.

I tilted my head to get his attention.

"Then your sure to be a very kind hero." I said reassuringly.Togata stared at me for a minute before saying something.

"You know, I know you lied." He said looking at me. "About hurting yourself." He said tugging at the bandage around my neck. "What really happened?"

Dammit, he's sharp.

"Well . . ." I had never been more grateful to Midoriya in my entire life when he walked out of Sir Nighteye's office.

"Oh! Hey, Midoriya!" I paused, studying his slumped shoulders, unhappy pose, but determined eyes. "Midoriya . . . what happened?" I came over and pat his shoulder, trying to get his attention.

He smiled lamely at me.

"I'm fine, just a little . . . deflated?" He looked curiously up at the ceiling, trying to decide if that was the correct word.

"Hmm." I said looking at Sir Nighteye coming out of his office with paperwork.

"Here, sign these." He said handing me the papers and a stamp.

I quickly signed them and handed them back to him.

"Do you need to speak with me as well?" I asked, looking him up and down. Togata was right. He looked like a stiff person who didn't know how to relax. But he smile kindly and shook his head,

"I have the file, Eraserhead provided me with. I know everything I need to know except for your quirk." He waved us to the exit. "Which you can show me tomorrow. You both start tomorrow." He waved and walked away.

"He wasn't all bad." I said looking at Midoriya. "But I think you might have a different opinion."

He nodded and he and Mirio went to the lockers.

"We gotta go patrolling since we already signed the papers. But your free to look around!" Mirio said waving.

~Dabi's Point of View~

I watched as the girl walked down the streets from where ever she was coming from in a UA uniform. Guess I was right. I called Shigaraki.

"What?" His hostile and croaky voice answered.

"I was right, she does go to UA." I snickered.

"Am I supposed to care? I thought I told you to butt out." He hissed over the phone.

"Oh, I just thought you might care since she recently started hanging out not too far from the Shie Hassaikai. She has Izuku Midoriya with her." I grinned, expecting silence. And silence I was greeted with.

"Keep an eye on her for just a little longer. Don't you dare get caught. If a league member is spotted hanging around the Shie Hassaikai, it'll ruin out partnership." He hung up.

I slid my phone into my pocket and looked down at the roaming city below me.

Boy were they in for a treat.

~Bakugou's Point of View~

After the fiasco with those kids, Half n' half and I made out way through the streets with our new provisional licenses, taking down some guys who started trouble.

A funny looking hero came forward and congratulated us.

"That was some nice work young heroes." He said. "And what of the stolen purses and wallets?" He asked.

I pulled them out of my gauntlet and pockets.

"I pickpocketed them back while taking them down so they wouldn't be ruined." I growled.

"And how are you gonna fix all this ice?" He said motioning to the mess half n' half made while fighting.

Just as he said that, it all started melting, quickly turning to water and seeping throughout the street.

"Taken care of." Half n' half said walking over.

"Wow!" The hero cheered.

I handed the wallets over to a group of police officers who started handing them out to the citizens.

I looked up and the setting sun, thinking about how (F/N) was doing.

~(F/N) Point of View~

We had returned to the dorms afterwards and just hung out for the rest of the day.

"What did you and Nighteye talk about?" I asked Midoriya, sitting on the couch in pants and a sweater. I had a cup of hot chocolate and we were looking at the news.

"Uh, he just talked about how he knew about my previous fails and everything and wanted me to be careful because he didn't want a liability in his office." He said rubbing his neck.

"That's not nice. Even when you did make a few mistakes in the past, you've worked so hard to get so much better. I think that deserves congrats, not reprimandation." I sipped my cocoa.

"Even if I'm a whole lot stronger, I still have a lot to learn."

"I still have a lot to learn," His words echoed in my ears.

He's said that a few times in the past after people have told him how amazing he is. Talking himself down and telling people he's not that amazing.

"Midoriya," I set down my mug. "If you keep telling yourself that you need to get better, you'll never see how great you already are." I looked at the floor and sighed. "I used to think I was weak. How right I was when I figured out I couldn't protect anyone.

I patted his shoulder.

"See how great you are, before you figure out how great you need to be."

He looked at me with wide eyes and then at his hand. I noticed how one had symmetrical scars and was crooked.

"I think I understand." He whispered.

"I understood." A voice said behind us.
