1 Fresh Start

(F/N) . . . . . . .

I bolt up in my sleep, responding to the non-existent voice. My eyes scan across my small bedroom, looking for the source of the voice I heard in my sleep.

Must be first day jitters.

I sighed, getting out of bed and tripping on the huge dog on the floor next to me. I face plant. The big dog gets up and lays on top of me, it's weight holding me down. It laid its head on mine and whines.

I laughed.

"I know Nox, but I have to." I pet my huge black labradors head and gently slide him off of me. I stand up and stretch, working all the kinks in my body out.

"Nox, come." I said, walking into my bathroom. I shower, letting the warm water flow down my body, clearing my thoughts and only allowing a few through.

UA High. Fighting. Villians. Netsui . . .

I stood there a moment longer thinking about him . . .

I step out of the shower.

"Today's the day Nox. I cannot afford to fail. But I guess, even if I do, there's always the opportunity of villainy." I joke dryly as I dry out my hair.

Nox stares at me, uncomprehending anything except for the fact that I was leaving. I pet his head and changed into the UA uniform. Nox tugged on my tie and I smile sadly. I crouched to his height and kissed his nose.

"Granny Neko will watch you from now on. I'll visit. Promise." I grab my suitcase and my backpack. Nox's leash is in my hand as I step out the door.

Time for a new beginning.

I step into Principal Nezu's office after dropping Nox off. He looks up from his paper and his face broke into a huge grin.

"(F/N)! Your here! Great, were so happy to have a new student."

I scan the room. The pro hero Eraser Head and Vlad King were standing next to his desk.

"Hello . . ." I said hesitantly.

"Now, there is one other student besides yourself who is joining the Hero course. You both will be tested to see how strong you. I see you didn't submit your quirk in the paperwork . . . . why is that?" Nezu asked.

I smiled affectionately, thinking of Granny Neko who filled out the paperwork.

"My grandmother filled it out, she must not have added it in." I explained.

"I see." He nodded and smiled.

"You may go." Nezu said. "Well go over your quirk later since the class is about to start."
