5 Superman Dna

"WAY TOO BIG!"

A green light illuminated the entire sky in the center of Metropolis as a giant dropped from the sky, creating cracks where he landed.

He started to launch his wrath towards Metropolis, destroying buildings and the environment with his punches and kicks.

But the pièce de résistance was when he crossed his arms; a green energy started to gather in his upward arm as he aimed it toward the highest building he could see.

His stance however was disturbed when a bug flew in front of him and punched him in the stomach, sending Way Big's body flying through the entire city.

As Way Big's body hit buildings and the ground with his back, it started to slow its speed until he was stopped and buried inside another building.

Superman didn't give the alien any chance to get up from the debris and tried to land another hit, this time on his face.

To his surprise, he just hit air as the alien transformed into green light. From the smoke made by the building, another alien erupted from the debris, way smaller than the first, adding to Superman's confusion.

"Big Chill."

"Where is your other friend, and who told you that you could cause trouble in this city?"

With those words, Superman didn't wait for an answer and launched a punch toward the blue alien. To his surprise, it passed right through him.

Superman didn't know how to react to all this, a big alien dropping from the sky trying to destroy the city, and another alien making the first one disappear and being untouchable.

He froze for some seconds while constantly looking at the blue alien that now wasn't transparent.

While he was frozen, he heard the alien mutter some words in his disordered voice, probably saying his name too.

"Capture Mode."

A yellow light shot from the alien's round green and black object as it started scanning Superman, who still couldn't react.

When the scan finished, it finally made Superman wake up and attack the blue alien that had probably just scanned him.

But he didn't reach him, as the same green light that appeared after the big alien disappeared was again used, this time on the blue alien.

Superman tried to punch faster when he saw the green light to stop the blue alien, but this time his punch connected with another being that looked exactly like a human.

This shocked him, not because it looked like a human, but because he could tell that this being was a Kryptonian just like him.

"Are you perhaps another acolyte of Zod?!"

Both Kryptonians retracted their fists, creating shocks that moved the winds.

The new Kryptonian didn't look like he wanted to chit-chat with Superman. So he directly launched a fist towards Superman's head, and they began their battle in the air.

Fists collided, heat visions and more attacks were used against each other. The first part of the fight started equal, but as time passed, the new Kryptonian started to lose momentum, slowly but surely, he was doomed to losing this fight.

Seeing that he was slowly starting to lose, Ben didn't bother with the fight anymore, as all he wanted was to test his strength and how well he performed in front of Superman.

He lost a lot of time that could have been used to search for materials in space, making him a bit flustered.

A green light enveloped Ben's body, surprising Superman again. How many times was he surprised by this alien? Five to ten times in a single day.

"Big Chill!"

Seeing the blue alien again shocked Superman to the core. How was this possible? But the blue alien didn't let him ask any questions.

He became transparent and phased through the earth, leaving Superman both confused and shocked at the same time.

But Ben didn't care what happened to Superman, as his plan worked magnificently. He got a new DNA sample and the locations of the ores that this race knew.

Now all he needs to do is go into space and find the materials that are most useful for him from the Peak Kryptonian he just got.

Of course, what Ben didn't know right now was if he would need an upgraded form of his basic Omnitrix.

The single person that created the Ultimatrix used parts of the upgraded Omnitrix to make it, so he wasn't 100% sure if it would work.

{…}

Ten months passed while Ben explored space to find the materials he needed. He chose the closest materials with good quality that he could get.

A spaceship would probably have made his life way easier and halved the time he got from getting those materials.

But in order to create a good quality ship, he would need to make more trips back and forth, which were useless for him.

All he wanted was to recreate or even make a better version of the Ultimatrix with the help of his Omnitrix.

Now was the day when he finally returned home, dropping the materials he got in his researching room. He directly transformed into Gray Matter and began to examine all the materials he got from top to bottom and the usefulness of them in creating the Ultimatrix.

This journey was too long for his liking, so he better examined the materials he got and used them the proper way. He didn't want to start again from failing repeatedly.

His materials didn't allow him to fail too many times. These materials were carefully examined when he gathered them, so there was no room for error.

'But still, all these months, I couldn't get the idea of needing an upgraded Omnitrix out of my mind.'

'Better not make me need an upgraded version of the Omnitrix, or I would just use Aliens X to delete all the universes from DC to Marvel.'

Even though he said those words, he knew that they were hard to carry.

Most likely because he can't control Alien X without the approval of those annoying beings.
