9 Suicide Squad part 2

"Why did you save me?"

Ben transformed back into his human form, looking towards Riddle as he asked his question.

It was the most common question someone could ask, but Ben didn't know how to answer.

Who knows, maybe one day he would rule over the world, so having intelligent acolytes with daddy issues is always good.

"I want to create an organization, and your big brain should help me."

"Do I even have the qualities to say no?"

"Of course not. After all, I just saved your life, and I would probably kill the gorilla when I have time for you."

Riddler, hearing his answer, began to think of all his choices, but they were mostly none. He saw what this kid could do and nearly died by his hands.

"What type of organization?"

"My bad. I didn't think all the way."

When Ben said that, Riddle's mouth dropped to the ground. He didn't know how to react to this kid's words.

"But not now. I will personally inform you when the new organization will start."

A big silence was left in the atmosphere as both of them were waiting for something.

"Are you perhaps now going to find Joker? I can confirm to you that guy isn't that easy to kill, as you think."

"I wouldn't kill him. I would just crib him this time. And a helicopter will pass this way, that's my target."

"You think he will be in it? What if he finds another way to transport himself from Arkham."

"Because Batman will follow him. Now we are done with the questions; you can leave."

Hearing him, Riddler left in defeat as he wanted to ask more questions but couldn't.

A helicopter entered Ben's view as he was resting his shoulder on a building. The helicopter was flying chaotically, barely evading the buildings in its way.

While not far away was the Batwing, Batman's jet, which was following the helicopter.

"Jetray!"

When the green light emitted from the Omnitrix finally started to fade, Jetray shot himself towards the helicopter.

Arriving close to it in just some seconds, he began to use his laser vision to cut the helicopter tail, but with his luck, he cut the nearby building in two with the tail.

But the collapsed building wasn't a problem for the helicopter as it started to lose control and hit another building, which made it stuck.

Batman, not far from the helicopter, glided past him while grabbing Harley from falling to her death.

These things happened in seconds, as he could see on one floor was Deadshot and Joker fighting.

While on the lower floor were Harley and Batman. He knew he needed information about his things, as he couldn't just raid all their bases because it was a big waste of time.

And mostly because he wanted the Ultimatrix done, so he chose his targets, and those were Harley and Batman.

"BigChill!"

BigChill glided through the building as he finally arrived on the floor he needed. His targets looked like they had a small conversation.

While one had a big hammer in her hands, he deactivated his intangibility and closed his wings.

Arriving beside her, he could hear her annoying laughing. So he gently placed his skinny arm on her neck as all of her body froze.

"Ahhhh, what is this!?"

She said in horror as she couldn't feel her body; it was just like taking anesthesia.

"Ben! What are you doing? Let go of her; she has the bomb!"

Batman shouted at Ben while looking at the big hammer hit the ground. Using his hook, he grabbed it while trying to dismantle it.

"I'm sorry, but that isn't possible before you tell me where you put my things or should I just freeze her to death?"

"Don't do that Ben. I know you can change; drop her and let's talk after I disarm this bomb."

But Big Chill didn't listen as the temperature in the air started to drop in the building they were.

While ice could be seen expanding, covering all the building in an iceberg. But it bought Batman enough time to disarm the bomb by cutting a wire and send a batrang toward him.

"Time's up."

With those words, Harley's body was thrown toward him as he caught it smoothly. But when he touched her body, he could feel that it was nearly frozen while his batrang flew through BigChill.

"It's nice to see that you wanted to cooperate, Bye-bye."

Big Chill phased through the ice floor as before grabbing the batrang, Batman knew he couldn't follow him anymore. The building was completely in an iceberg state while Harley was heavily injured.

He was sure if he doesn't find a way to break through this ice fast enough, this girl will die. But he wasn't panicking; with a small command, his jet started shooting the thick ice.

Slowly the jet started to break the ice protective layer that Big Chill created around the building.

On the upper floor, both Deadshot and the Joker were surprised to find themselves stuck in the ice that started to spread through all the building.

Deadshot tried to free himself but to no avail, while couldn't think of a new plan because the Joker continued to laugh at him.

"Can't you stop for a bit, sick psychopath? We both gonna die in here."

"HAHAHAHA."

But Joker's laugh was interrupted as a blue alien appeared beside him. Even though Big Chill froze all the building, he didn't fully freeze them.

As the single thing that he froze was their legs to the floor, he wanted to see them have some faith in escaping. But the Joker broke that dream when Big Chill heard him laughing.

So he phased behind the Joker while gently touching his arm. With a piercing sound, the arm broke into ice pieces.

Big Chill ignored the continuous cry and laugh from the Joker as he slowly made his way toward Deadshot, covered.

"NO! THIS WOULDN'T END LIKE THIS; I CAN'T LEAVE THIS WORLD YET."

Deadshot shouted, but it was too late to do anything because Big Chill was already touching his head with his skeletal arm while some cold words were emitting from the alien face.

"It already. I can promise you that I will keep her safe… of course, beside from me."

With those words, Deadshot's eyes were red when he understood that this alien kid knew that he had a daughter his inner body shocked, but his body was already starting to break.

In millions of pieces of ice, beside the blue alien and the screaming Joker, Batman had already escaped the building with Harley.

'Looks like Batman is out.'

He transformed back into his human, walking in front of the Joker; the cold started to hit his body, but he ignored the feeling.

"I promise you… Arthur, I will become your worst nightmare."

Ben now was standing in front of the shocked and in pain Joker. As a smile appeared on his face, while using his finger, he extended it.

He used the human nervous system to bring the biggest pain he could have done with his ice. Even though just his hand broke, mostly all of his body was screaming in pain.

Ben didn't want Joker to hear his and Deadshot's words, so he went a bit overboard.

"NIGHTMARE!!!"
