A Better Life

Sharon's  POV

Stan and Shelly were in the other room when I received a phone call.

I walk over and see it's from Peter.

I pick up the phone answering it.

"Hello?"

"Sharon I tried calling Randy but he didn't answer. Madision is at the hosptial!"

"Wait is she okay?!"

"She's in labor, Sharon!"

I felt my heart sink and anxiety hit me hard.

"Oh my God she's having the baby now?!" I yelled out.

"Yes! Can you and Randy come?"

"Oh my God we will be right there!"

We both hung up.

I ran to the other room.

"Randy, Shelly, Stan we are going to the hospital!"

"Why what's going on?! My husband asked. 

"Madison is having her baby!!"

His mouth gaped open in surprise.

"Oh my god it's happening!!!" He yelled out grabbing his jacket. 

"Let's go, let's go!!"

Meanwhile.

We arrived at the hospital. The closer we got the more anxious I got. 

I am so happy for them. They wanted this child so badly. I hope everything is okay. 

When we arrive to her room. I knocked on the door. I see Peter opened the door. He had a big smile on his face. 

"Is she okay?" I asked. 

"Why don't you look for yourself." he said stepping away opening the door more. 

We all walked in. I felt so overjoyed when I see Madison looking down holding her beautiful baby girl. I felt tears fill my face as I walked up closer seeing her precious face. 

"She's so beautiful."

Maddie looked up at me smiling so big with dry tears on her face. 

"She really is isn't she?"

"Can I hold her?"

"Oh course, I'm so tired I wanted to sleep anyway."

I slowly hunch over grabbing her placing her in my arms really close. I felt my heart melt seeing her open her eyes. 

"She has Peters eyes that for sure."

She chuckled. 

"She does they are so beautiful." 

I look over seeing the kids looking really curious at her. 

"Come here kids, don't be shy."

They slowly approached looking at her. 

"Shelly, do you want to hold her? " I asked. 

She smiled holding her hands out. 

I slowly placed her in her arms. 

"Be careful okay? She's very fragile."

She held her close to her body with her hand supporting her neck. 

Randy and I were talking to Peter while Maddie fell asleep. I looked over at the kids seeing Shelly holding Maddie's baby sitting on the couch. I noticed Stan was watching her looking a little antsy. 

Stan why don't you try holding her? I said walking over to them. 

He looked at me nervously. 

"Here Shelly can you hand her to me please?"

I hunched over grabbing the baby slowly place her in Stan's arms. 

It warmed my heart up seeing him admiring her face. 

It was such a cute sight seeing his face light up when she looked up at him making small noises. Then she smiled up at him. 

I couldn't help but smile.

I see her slowly lift her hand out grabbing his shirt really tight giggling so sweetly. 

I see him brush her hair out of her face very gently. She immediately closed her eyes sighing really loud. 

This is the cutest sight seeing my baby holding Maddie's baby. Something I never thought I'd see. I'm so happy for them.  

Shortly after I notice she fell asleep in his arms with him smiling down at her. 

I grabbed my phone taking a quick photo of the two. 

I'll be sure to keep that forever. 

I looked over at Peter. 

"What's her name?" I asked sitting next to Stan still holding her tight. 

"We were thinking Jessica." 

"Wow...I like that name peter sounds familiar." Said Randy. 

I looked back at Stan not looking away from her for a second. I smiled to myself. 

I think they will get along very well. 

Stan's POV (Age 4)

My parents were visiting their best friends at their house. I was in the living room with Jess. She was sitting on the floor holding her teddy bear really tight watching Sponge Bob.

I smiled thinking of something else to do. I went to grab my backpack unzipping fairly quickly getting really exited to show her what I had. 

"Hey Jess, check this out."

She looked back at me. 

"What is it?"

I hand her my Batman action figure.

She smiled really big holding it looking at it full of curiosity.

"Do you wanna play with me?"

"Yeah!!" 

We played action figures together ever since.

Stan's POV (Age 5)

Today I just got a PlayStation 1.

I love it so much. I was playing Tomb Raider when...

"Stan? What are you doing?"

I look over seeing Jess holding my Batman action and her Joker action figure.

"Look Jess." I said pointing at the screen. 

She walked over looking at the TV really confused.

When I was controlling the girl in the video game Jess's eyes got really big. 

"Are you doing that?!?!?!" She yelled running up touching the glass screen tapping on it hard.

I laughed out loud.  

"Yeah it's a video game, do you wanna try?" 

She ran over to me with her hands out really excited. 

"Yes please!!" 

I hand her the controller seeing her light up immediately. Watching her was so amusing. After awhile we switched. It was a lot of fun. I don't think I ever seen her so fascinated in anything like this video game. I was very happy to see her this happy, expectally doing something I really enjoyed doing. Ever since then that's all we ever did was play video games together.

Later that week

Today was our first day of school. I was really nervous but seeing Jess so happy and excited changed my attitude immediately. 

We were at school in the play ground playing hide and seek for a little bit. 

"Hey Stan."

I look at her seeing her looking really bored. 

"Can we play something new, I'm bored?" she groaned. 

"What do you wanna play?"

She smiled throwing her hands in the air. 

"Superheros!!" she screamed out. 

I smiled really big.

Wow she came up with that fast. Has she been wanting to play that for awhile?

"If you could be a superhero, who would you pick?" she asked walking over to a swing. 

I followed behind. 

I see her sit on a swing looking back at me. 

I smiled pushing her lightly swinging her upward. 

"Hmmmm....I was thinking I can be someone who has all control over tools. My name could be..... Toolshed."

She smiled big looking back at me.

"That's so cool! What should I be?"

"Well who would you wanna be?" 

"I love batman!! But... What would I be called?"

"Hmmm... How about Huntress." 

"Oh my god!! I love it!!!" she screamed out 

"Okay let's find someone to be the villain."

She smiled and looked around still on the swing.

Before I knew it she let go of the chains on the swing and flew off of it. I tensed feeling nervous until she landed. She didn't waste time and ran off finding someone. 

I lightly chuckle watching her approach a bunch of random kids.  

I feel a tap on my shoulder. I look behind me and I see three kids behind me. The one who taped me had a green hat on.

"Hey our group was going to play a role-playing game, do you wanna join?"

I raised my eyebrow curious.

"What kinda game?"

"We were playing a game called the Stick of Truth. He's the Wizard, he's the Princess because we don't have a girl to play with while I'm the Elf King. We were wanting to grab a bunch of people to play with us. It'll be fun."

"Just one question before I play."

"What it is?"

"Can my friend play with us?" I asked pointed at Jess still running finding someone to play with. 

They all look over.

"Ohhhhh no, no, no, no girls allowed!!!" yelled the big kid.

"Okay fine them I won't be playing then." I said about to walk away. I felt a tight grasp on my arm. I look back seeing the green hat kid grabbing my arm.

"She can play with us. I'm not on team with him. He doesn't like playing with girls. So she can be on my team."

I felt a smile crawl on my face. 

"Well in that case I'll be on your team as well."

He smiled really big. "Cool what's your name?" He asked.

"My name is Stan marsh, what's yours?"

"My name is Kyle Broflovski.

"Nice to meet you Kyle. Thanks for letting my friend play. I don't like leaving her out of things."

"It's no problem, she's always welcome..at least with me I can't promise with him over there." he said pointing at his friend not paying attention. 

He seems so cool. It would be awesome if he could be my friend...I'd love to have a friend like him.

I look over seeing Jess run back grabbing someone's hand. I see it was a blonde with blue eyes.

"Stan I found someone to play with us, he's really nice his name is Butters!!"

"Oh hi fellas I'm Butters, it's nice to meet you all."

"Hey we are going to play a different game if that's okay with you?"

She looked at me really confused.

"What are you going to play?"

She looked at the three guys next to me.

"It's called the Stick of Truth. He's the Wizard, he's the Princess, and he's the Elf King. They want to invite others to play to make it more fun."

"Am I able to play?!" She asked perking up a little looking interested. 

"Yeah he said you can play on his team. There's two different teams and hes the Elf team. I'm guessing they are the Human team?"

They nod.

"Okay well we are going to find other players for the game." Said the big kid running off. 

I look over at Jess and the guy she found.

"By the way I'm Jessica. It's nice to meet you."

I look at Kyle seeing him smiling at her.

"So butters do you wanna be an elf or a human?" she asked. 

"Oh I was going to be a human because they said there would be a princess on their team."

"Okay well I wish you luck. It'll be fun playing against you."

He smiled. "Thank you for your kindness."

She's such a sweetheart.... To anyone. I never seen her mad or really get sad... She's always too positive and happy. I see her making so many friends and having the perfect life in the future. When I'm with her I get that great positive vibe a lot. It's so nice to be around her. When I'm sad, scared or mad she's always there making it all go away. I'm so lucky to have her as my best friend.

When Butters walked away I see Jess approach me and Kyle.

"So you two wanna get started?" Kyle asked.

"Yeah, let's play!" She said.

Meanwhile.

We were at the left side of the playground in the Elf territory on the monkey bars. Jess was the Eleven Princess, Kyle was the king, while I was the protector of both of them. We got another kid who wanted to play, he was the Bard.

I was at the bottom of the monkey bar dome when we saw the humans approach. I hold you a stick pretending it was a sword.

"Halt who goes there?" I said in a deep tone.

I see the big kid approach.

"I am the grand wizard. This is my level 3 Thief, my Paladin,my Cleric, my Armor, my Barbarian, and my Princess. We are here to take something from you."

I look at them confused. 

"What do you want?"

He looked behind me at the king and princess giving an evil grin. 

"I want the princess."

My eyes got wide.

"Well you'll have to go through me to get her. I'm her guardian and the kings as well."

"Well we have you all out numbered so I think we have the upper advantage."

"My king, can you help me fight off these humans?"

I hear a thud and see him walk up to my side with a stick out toward them as well.

"We are sworn to protect the princess at all cost." he said. 

I smiled looking at the humans.

"It's a battle you want, that's what your going to get!" Said the wizard.

He put his hand out then his team run toward us.

I see the Bard run up next to us to join the fight.

We might have a chance.

Jess's POV 

I was on the monkey bars watching them fight.

I felt a little bored watching so I tried entertaining myself. I wrap my legs around the bars and fall backwards hanging upside down with my hands out trying to touch the ground.

I hear someone giggling close to me.

I look seeing it was the princess on the other team. I see her not fighting either. She actually sneaked up next to me entering the monkey bar dome.

She mumbled something that I could barely understand.

"I guess they want two princesses on their team."

I smiled. "Seems that way."

"You know for a princess you seem a bit like a daredevil."

I chuckled slightly.

"Check this out."

Without grabbing on the bars I pulled myself backwards doing a back flip off the bars.

I see her eyes go wide.

"Oh shit dude!!! That's fucking awesome!!!"

"Thanks, I actually really wanna learn to fight. I could be one if those cool guys from those movies."

"Maybe we can practice together sometime."

I look over at him. 

"That sounds like fun, I was actually wanting to play superheros some time. I really love Batman and always have. I wanted to be like a Batgirl but I wanted Huntress as a name or something better then Batgirl. 

"Maybe we can play sometime."

"Really?!" I asked feeling overjoyed. 

"A super hero game sounds a lot more fun than being a princess."

I laughed out loud. 

"Why are you a princess?"

He laughed out loud.

"Because I thought it would be funny."

"Your really funny. What's your name?" I asked still giggling. 

"I'm Kenny."

"I'm Jessica. But you can call me Jess."

I could tell he was smiling even though his mouth was covered. 

"I like the name Jess. It's a cool nickname."

"Maybe you can have one too."

He chuckled lightly.

"Yeah right I don't think anything would sound good with Kenny."

I thought for a second. 

"Kenny..Ken....ny...Wait what about Ken?"

I see his head perk up.

"Can I call you Ken?"

I see his face get slightly red.

"Yea I guess... No one ever called me that before."

"Well maybe I'll be the only one to call you that." He smiled.

"So it's our little thing?" he asked.

I nodded smiling big.

"Okay you got yourself a deal."

"Sweet so Ken, are you excited for school?"

"Uhh not really. I hear homework sucks."

We both climbed up to the top of the monkey bar dome talking more as the others were still fighting. 

"Are you going to school with us?"

"Yeah I'm actually really excited. I hear you can make a lot of friends easily at school I'm so excited of the thought of making some."

"Do you already have any friends?"

"Well I have Stan.. But that's it.. Wait would you wanna be my friend!?" I yelled out excited. 

His eyes went wide.

"R-Really? You wanna be my friend?"

I smiled and nodded.

"Oh man. Yeah I'd love to be your friend."

"Awesome. That makes you my second friend Ken."

I could tell he was smiling really big. 

We both look at the battle in front of us. We see the Humans and the Elves still fighting.

"Get the princess! Your a Thief right? Get her!!" Yelled the Wizard. 

I look and see some kid in a blue chullo hat he looked right at me running at me. I didn't know what to do so I just sat on top of the bars watching. He approached under the bars and grabbed my foot.

I hear Kenny chuckle.

"Looks like the thief got you. Now you have to come to our dungeon as our hostage."

"I'm a hostage?" I asked.

"Your coming with me Princess." said the Thief pulling my foot slightly. 

I looked at Kenny.

"Just follow the orders and it'll be easier on you." He said.

I jumped down when the thief grabbed my hands putting them behind my back.

He led me to the Wizard. I see Kyle, Stan and the Bard with hands behind their backs with someone holding them from behind. 

"Damn it Cartman that's not fair you have too many people on your team. Said Kyle getting irritated. 

"Nah huh there no rules saying I can't have more than you."

I see Stan roll his eyes.

"It's not fair, that's cheating." He said.

"It's not cheating!!" Yelled the wizard.

I look behind me and see the thief looking at me still.

I felt his hands grip tighter around my wrists.

I winced out loud. 

"Oww your hurting me!" I said whining a little.

He tensed up loosening his grip. 

I took my chance, I pulled my hands out of his grasp pushing him to the ground.

He looked up at me completely shocked.

I look at Stan seeing his sword next to me on the ground.

I picked up the stick pointing it at the Wizard.

He looked dumbfounded then looked around at his men angry.

"What are you guys doing get her!!!" he screamed out. 

They all looked at each other looking unsure.

"But.. She has the stick... She has control of the universe." Said Butters.

I tensed looking at the stick and realized it wasn't Stan's sword.. I smiled and held the stick up full of confidence.

"You will all bow down to me!!! The Elven Princess!!!!" I yelled with a proud smile on my face.

They all looked each other but they all bow down. I see Stan, Kyle and the Bard being released immediately. 

They looked at me smiling then taking a knee and bowing to me. 

That's when the teacher yelled, "Children time for school!!!"

They get back up looking at me.

"Your a sneaky one I'll give you that, but next time I'll out smart you." Said the Wizard running off.

I see the Thief approach me next.

"Your good I'll give you that. Very clever but you can't trick me twice. Next time I'll get you."

I smiled.

"Well maybe I'll become a Thief and we will truly see what you can do."

He looked at me shocked.

"You can't be a Thief, your a princess."

"I can be anything I want. I have the stick." I said holding up the stick. 

I see him grin slightly but quickly went away. 

"Clever girl. I'll snatch that from you one of these days." he said running off.

I see his three friends follow behind looking at me while walking. They were all talking then glancing at me occasionally. I was still watching them when I hear a chuckle from the brunette then he got punched by the thief.

I see Kyle, Stan and Kenny approach me last. 

"That was awesome. Sorry I couldn't help, Cartman wanted me on his team."

I smiled. "It's okay Ken. It was a lot of fun."

"Hey, we should go inside." said Kyle.

"Yeah, let's go." I said getting excited. 

We were all walking inside.

"That was genius Jess. I still can't believe you fouled that Thief." Said Stan.

I smiled looking over at him.

"You underestimate my true power."

He chuckled, "Yeah I guess I did."

I look over at Kyle.

I see him tensed a little when I looked at him.

"You looking forward to school?"

He shrugged.

"I don't know. I'm nervous to make friends."

"You don't have any friends?"

"No I do but... Cartman is an ass and Kenny is... Well... You'll find out someday.., but... I just want to find someone that would be like a brother to me..someone I can trust to tell anything to."

"Well I'm not a guy but you can tell me anything and I won't judge you."

He perked his head up looking at me.

"Really?"

I nod. "Oh coarse."

He smiled so sweetly.

"Your really sweet you know that?"

"It's what friends do."

He looked at me dumbfounded.

"Friend?"

"Yeah... If that's okay with you, I'd like to be your friend."

I see him smile and nod.

That's when I see the teacher looking at us in the hallway.

"Come on children."

I smiled big.

We all ran inside the school.

She guided us inside a classroom.

I look around amazed.

Wow... It's so colorful in here.

"Okay children sit down your name is on your desk."

I look around and see my name on a desk.

I smiled and sat on the desk.

I look around and smile really big.

"Stan we are desk buddies!" I said full of joy. 

He chuckled lightly.

"Seems that way, dork."

I felt a tap on my shoulder.

I turn around to my right and see Kenny.

"Hi desk buddy." I said with my smile that never went away.

He smiled giving a small wave.

I hear talking behind me.

I turn around seeing Kyle. 

"Hey Kyle."

"Man, I think I got really lucky. I get to sit by my friend." he said with a big smile. 

"Yeah, I'm really happy I get to sit with you guys."

I think this is going to be a really great class.
