10 Chapter 010

Ben's eyes widened slightly at Han's request. "Yes. That was quite intriguing, Captain. But holding your own against Vader, an even more impressive feat." Ben mused, then continued. "The fact that you were able to wield the Force in such a way, while in such distress as well, even if only momentarily, suggests that you may have a greater potential than you or I realize."

Han rubbed the back of his neck, a sheepish expression on his face. "Yeah, well, I don't know about all that. But I was thinking, maybe you could take me to Dagobah, and introduce me to Yoda. I figure if anyone can help me figure out this Force thing, it'd be the old Jedi Master."

Ben frowned. "Who told you the name Yoda?" Han was stumped, he kriffed up. Ben's face after contemplation softened and stroked his beard, considering Han's request. "Dagobah, you say? Hmm, yes, that could be a wise course of action. Yoda's guidance would be invaluable in helping you understand and harness your connection to the Force. I won't pry further into why you know of Master Yoda, for now."

Just then, the door hissed open, and Luke and Chewbacca entered the room. Chewie let out a joyful roar and swept Han up in a bone-crushing hug. "Chewie! Easy, buddy, easy!" Han chuckled, patting the Wookiee's back.

Luke approached, his eyes shining with relief and excitement. "Han! I'm so glad to see you're alright. When I felt that surge of the Force back on the Death Star, I couldn't believe it. How did you do that?" Ah, seeing the kid talk like a Jedi already in regards to the force was already odd.

Han grinned, extricating himself from Chewie's embrace. "Ah, well, it's a long story, kid. But it looks like I might be getting a little Jedi training from our friend Ben here."

Ben nodded, a hint of a smile on his lips. "Indeed. Captain Solo has expressed an interest in exploring his connection to the Force, and I believe a journey to Dagobah may be the first step in that journey, after a few preparations with the Rebellion of course."

Luke's eyes widened, and he glanced between Han and Ben, a spark of hope igniting within him. "A Jedi, you as well? Han, that's incredible! When do we leave for Dagobah?"

Han chuckled, clapping Luke on the shoulder. "Slow down there, kid. I'm not making any promises yet. But if Ben thinks Yoda can help me figure this whole Force thing out, then I'm willing to give it a shot."

Chewbacca growled in agreement, his eyes filled with a mixture of excitement and concern. Han grinned and patted his friend's arm. "Don't worry, Chewie. I'm not going anywhere without you, you big furball."

The group shared a moment of camaraderie, united in their determination to confront the looming threat of Abeloth, even as they prepared to embark on a new and uncertain journey.

The hustle and bustle of the Rebel base on Yavin 4 filled the air as Han, Chewbacca, Luke, and Obi-Wan made their way through the bustling hangar. The news of the Death Star plans had spread quickly, and the Rebellion was now in a race against time to mount an assault on the Empire's fearsome battle station.

As they approached the Millennium Falcon, Han couldn't help but feel a surge of anticipation. This was it - the moment he'd been waiting for. A chance to strike a decisive blow against the Empire, and maybe even prove his worth as more than just a mercenary.

"Alright, listen up!" Han called out, gathering the attention of the pilots and ground crew. "We've got a hell of a mission ahead of us, and I want every one of you to be at your best. We're going to hit the Death Star hard and fast, and we're gonna need every pilot we can get."

Han's gaze swept over the assembled Rebel fighters, his eyes settling on a young man with a determined expression. Leia had vouched for him, so the respect was almost immediate. "You there, what's your name?"

"Wedge Antilles, sir," the pilot replied, straightening his posture.

"Wedge, I want you to take command of Red Squadron. You're going to be our ace in the hole." Han turned to the rest of the group, his voice cutting through the bustling hangar. "The rest of you, listen up. We're going to need every bit of firepower we can muster if we're going to take down that Death Star. So I want you all to be ready to give it your all. We're counting on you."

Obi-Wan and Luke stood by, observing Han's commanding presence with a sense of pride. It was clear that the former smuggler had found a sense of purpose within the Rebellion, and they both knew that his skills and leadership would be vital to the success of the mission.

Chewie let out a roar of encouragement, and Han grinned, clapping his friend on the back. "That's right, Chewie. We're in this together, all the way."

As the pilots and ground crew scrambled to prepare their ships and equipment, Han turned to Obi-Wan and Luke. "So, when do we leave for Dagobah?"

Obi-Wan stroked his beard, his expression thoughtful. "I believe it would be best if we depart for Dagobah after the assault on the Death Star. The fate of the galaxy hangs in the balance, and we cannot afford any distractions."

Luke's eyes widened, and he stepped forward. "But Master Kenobi, surely Han's training with Yoda is just as important as this mission. What if he needs that knowledge to help us in the fight against the Empire?"

Han held up a hand, silencing Luke's protest. "The kid's got a point, Ben. This Death Star ain't going to destroy itself, and I reckon I could use all the help I can get. Maybe we could squeeze in a quick stop on Dagobah before the big show?"

Obi-Wan considered Han's words, weighing the risks and rewards. Finally, he nodded, a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Trust in the force captain, the time will come."
