31 Chapter 31

Hyun Na Bi was tired, but she couldn't sleep. She kept on thinking about her sister and her mother. Her mother had left the house as soon as her sister died (or during the time when Hyun Na Bi thought Hyun Dan Bi was actually dead) to work and visited her only once a mouth. Soon that became once in two months and the last time she had seen her mother was during her father's funeral. Her mother sent her money sometimes and they rarely spoke to each other. After that Hyun Na Bi had seen her mother when her grandmother was sick and that was when her mother had died along with her grandmother due to the flu. 

Even at that time her mother hadn't said a word about her sister being alive and her sister also hadn't come to their mother's funeral. Hyun Na Bi tried to recall if she could remember anything else about her sister in her past life. 

The Nam family name seemed familiar somehow. Hyun Na Bi could vaguely remember that she had heard this name but she couldn't remember when or where. She spent an hour trying to find out as much as she could about her sister; the places she visits, her charity work for show and every other place she would be. Hyun Na Bi did not even want to talk to her mother even though she knew her mother would no longer be alive after a couple of years.

There were so many articles related to Hyun Dan Bi who now went with the name Song Ji Hye. Of course she wouldn't want to be found out by anyone and if Hyun Na Bi hadn't seen her, she wouldn't have found out either. When Hyun Na Bi looked closely at the pictures she could see that her sister had done some work on her face. She had spoiled her pretty face and if her mother wasn't with her sister, she would have thought it was someone else looking similar to her sister. 

Hyun Na Bi also had to think about Nam Joon Woo now. If Hyun Dan Bi was his step mother then he was her nephew. Moreover he said that she was a murderer and Hyun Na Bi had no doubt that her sister was capable of killing people. She killed her own child of course she would kill another woman to get rich. Hyun Na Bi's mother and sister had always blamed her for their misfortune and called her 'unlucky girl' and it looked like they had used disgusting means to get wealthy. Hyun Na Bi guessed that her sister Hyun Dan Bi must have seduced Nam Joon Woo's father after becoming his secretary and then become his mistress and then killed Nam Joon Woo's mother to become the wife. 

When Hyun Na Bi was searching about her sister Hyun Dan Bi, she knew that with the click of a button she could see her ex-husband and get to know everything about him but she did not want to. That chapter of her life was closed and she did not want to revisit it anytime. 

Hyun Na Bi had come to the conclusion that it was time to leave the dorm. Maybe she hadn't thought much about it but after Ahn Se Na locked her in the restroom today, Hyun Na Bi thought it was better to move in to that place. It looked safe and no one had contacted her regarding that place so she ignored her instincts and planned to move there the very next day. 

Hyun Na Bi knew that she was harsh on Jin Yong today but she couldn't control herself. She knew that he had to change his mind on his own. Maybe she could help him along the way but that was all she could do, she could only hint at a few things she couldn't tell him everything. 

Hyun Na Bi thought back on the last time she spoke to Jin Yong. It was just the day before she died or time travelled to the past or her present. 

Before travelling to the past: When Hyun Na Bi was 36

Hyun Na Bi walked into the mansion with Jin Yong's assistant leading the way for her. All the interior design and expensive things did not make the place lively instead it felt cold and lonely. 

Jin Yong's assistant paused and opened the door for Hyun Na Bi. She found Jin Yong standing at the end of the room facing the floor to ceiling window with a hard expression. As soon as he heard Hyun Na Bi's footsteps he turned around and smiled at her. Jin Yong had been living aimlessly till now but after meeting Hyun Na Bi and the second heart attack, he had found a new purpose in his life. He wanted to live life to the fullest now. The past one week had given him lot of time to think about the future. 

Hyun Na Bi noticed the change in Jin Yong's face as he looked at her, his hardened expression had changed into a brightened smile when he saw her entering the room.

"Sit. I want to talk to you"

Jin Yong snapped his fingers and snacks were served as Jin Yong and Hyun Na Bi sat down.

Hyun Na Bi did not move or say a word. She sat there quietly and Jin Yong started talking, "You did all the talking that day and now it's my turn. Just listen to me as you eat I will ask nothing more of you"

Hyun Na Bi was nervous about what he was about to say. She had tried hard to not think about Jin Yong and live like she hadn't met him again but that was an impossible task for her. Hyun Na Bi couldn't stop thinking about Jin Yong; the way he looked right now, the way he looked at her and everything about him. When thinking about Jin Yong, Hyun Na Bi's mind automatically went to the past, reminiscing about their time when they lived happily in the village without a worry in the world. Seeing him again after so many years, she felt like as if she was in a dream.

After seeing Jin Yong once again she kept staring at him without saying a word lost deep in thought. 

Jin Yong's voice brought Hyun Na Bi back to reality, "You have become so thin. Are you eating properly?"

Jin Yong was too caring that she felt like she was cheating on her husband. She was ready to cut short this meeting and started saying, "Oppa…"

But Jin Yong did not let her speak. He knew about Hyun Na Bi so well so he started telling her right the beginning everything that happened. 

"Remember the day when a woman came to visit me. The day I graduated from school. She said she was my mother"

Hyun Na Bi's mouth opened wide in shock, "What?"
