17 Chapter 17

Hyun Na Bi was now Nam Joon Woo's assistant and contrary to what she had thought, he was quite serious about photography. He was even contacted to photograph few important events and Hyun Na Bi tagged along with him. Nam Joon Woo was helping her to improve her skills. Though most of the time she was like his assistant, he had taught her so much. She was not very much fond of this work now but she needed money so she spent all her extra time with Nam Joon Woo whenever he called her.

One day both Hyun Na Bi and Nam Joon Woo were in the room allocated for photography club. An important event was coming up and they were discussing or rather he was teaching her what all had to be done. Their back was facing the door and both of them were so engrossed into what they were doing that they did not look around. Their heads were close together and when Nam Joon Woo lifted his head, he saw through the mirror that Jin Yong was watching them from behind their backs. Hyun Na Bi's eyes were fixed on the papers spread out in front of them that she did not notice what was happening around her.

Nam Joon Woo turned his focus towards Hyun Na Bi. His opinion on her had made a 180 degree turn in the last few days and he took her with him wherever he went. Thought initially it was a game for him, now he really enjoyed spending time with her. Nam Joon Woo couldn't point a finger but somehow she was different from the past. He had only observed her from a distance but still he could see that she was not the same girl as before. Nam Joon Woo preferred working alone but he did not mind Hyun Na Bi tagging along with him. In fact he wanted her to come with him everywhere. His camera was filled with candid pictures of Hyun Na Bi more than of the events or the models.

Sensing that something was wrong, Hyun Na Bi lifted her head and came face to face with Nam Joon Woo. She saw that Nam Joon Woo was looking at her, like really looking at her without batting an eye. Their faces were close together and she could feel his breath. They were too close. Without a word Nam Joon Woo brushed his lips against hers. He was looking forth and back between her lips and eyes as if asking for permission. When Hyun Na Bi did not react, he moved his hand to the back of her neck and held her face close to his. She did not move and they were both bent over the table.

Hyun Na Bi would be lying if she said that her heart did not flutter. It had been so long since she had kissed and Nam Joon Woo was quite handsome. He was looking at her eyes looking carefully at her and she did not pull away from him. Hyun Na Bi closed her eyes and Nam Joon Woo caught her lips with his and held her face in his hand deepening the kiss. With the other hand he took the paper from her hand and placed it on the table so that Hyun Na Bi's hands were free. She moved her hands to his neck pulling him closer and she was pulling his hair while their tongues fought for dominance within their mouth. At the moment they were only thinking about each other's lips and everything else was forgotten.

Hearing a loud bang they pulled apart and it was Jin Yong standing there folding his fingers tightly making him clench his fist and his knuckles were so white.

Nam Joon Woo said coolly, "I really don't want an audience when I'm making out"

Hearing this Hyun Na Bi turned around and saw Jin Yong standing at the doorway staring at them. His eyes held so many emotions but the prominent ones were anger and rage? If looks could kill, she knew that Jin Yong would have burned them both to the ground in that instant. Not like she cared. She gave him a chance and he rejected her now he can't go around getting angry with her for whatever she did. Hyun Na Bi never said she was going to follow celibacy. She can kiss whoever she wants.

Jin Yong's eyes were only on Hyun Na Bi. There was not an ounce of regret or embarrassment in her face at getting caught. She stood straight looking at him directly in his eyes. He had enough.

Jin Yong left the room. The door slammed behind him followed by the sound of Hyun Na Bi being pushed against the wall.

Nam Joon Woo waited for a second to see how Hyun Na Bi would react when she found that Jin Yong was watching them but it looked like she did not care.

Now the doubt was totally erased from his mind as he pushed her against the wall pressing his body against hers.

With a chuckle Hyun Na Bi turned towards him.

"You kissed me because he was looking at us. Right?"

This time it was Hyun Na Bi who pulled him in for a kiss and they both pulled apart only when they were out of breath. Both of them hadn't seen Jin Yong who was standing outside the door watching this unfold before his eyes.

Nam Joon Woo could only say "Right?"

Jin Yong had reached his breaking point with Hyun Na Bi and Nam Joon Woo. He knew that it was he who rejected her and wanted to concentrate on other things now but seeing them together was making him go mad especially the kiss... when he worked out in the gym, he imagined the punching bag to be Nam Joon Woo's face and by the end of the session, his knuckles were bleeding. Jin Yong was starting to doubt his decisions. Was it worth it to do all this when Hyun Na Bi would no longer be by his side? If he no longer had her by his side at the end then what's the use of all this?

Jin Yong could not understand why Hyun Na Bi would be with a man like Nam Joon Woo but there was nothing he could do to stop it. It did not matter if she was doing it to just get back at him because it was working. Maybe because Jin Yong was convinced that Hyun Na Bi would never leave him, he couldn't accept the fact that Hyun Na Bi was kissing someone else other than him. When he saw her kissing Nam Joon Woo, he wanted nothing more than to smash Nam Joon Woo's head on the wall. He saw that it was Hyun Na Bi who pulled Nam Joon Woo for a second the second time. Why? WHY DID SHE HAVE TO DO THAT? Does that mean she no longer liked him? She was no longer doing things just to spite him. He could see that. It was really over.
