16 Chapter 16

Hyun Na Bi thought of moving in at the end of the month. She could save some money and also the curfew was getting to her. She could not come and go at any time she wanted to the dorm which was one of the cons of staying there. Especially last night when she had to sneak in after she returned late night. Huff…. Climbing the walls was definitely not easy.

Hyun Na Bi thought of moving the few things she had little by little after she had checked out the house. Last time when she had lived in that apartment, she had tried to spend as less as possible on the furniture's but this time the woman had said that the house was fully furnished. So she thought of checking the house and then make plans accordingly. So when classes were over she went straight to the house.

Hyun Na Bi had never thought she would be returning to this place, but here she was back at the place where she had ruined her life. She let out a deep sigh as she opened the door.

Jin Yong was just leaving his place when he saw Hyun Na Bi standing at the door opposite to his. First Jin Yong thought that she came to see him but later he saw her opening the door to opposite the apartment.

The apartment had been empty for quite a few months now and Jin Yong knew that Hyun Na Bi was trying hard to rent the place. More than anyone else he knew very well about her financial condition. The place was expensive to rent and Hyun Na Bi had been ready to spend so much money even if it meant she had to work more than 2 part time jobs. Hyun Na Bi always got something to eat for him daily in the morning and had spent so much money on him in just the last year. Just to stop her from doing that he had told her he hated whatever she got for him but that did not stop her. Hyun Na Bi switched from one store to another hoping that he would like something anything she gave him. After certain point Jin Yong had given up but still she got breakfast for him daily. Each and every day of the year.

Jin Yong stopped Hyun Na Bi before she could enter the apartment. "What are you doing here?"

Hyun Na Bi blinked twice. Wasn't he the one who paid the rent for her?

Unsure what to say, Hyun Na Bi said, "I'm supposed to move in here?" rather confused.

Jin Yong's face lit automatically hearing that, "Your moving in here?"

Hyun Na Bi nodded, "Hmm…"

Suddenly a thought crossed Jin Yong's mind, 'Does that mean she still wants him? Is that why she moved here'

Jin Yong hadn't been able to see much of Hyun Na Bi for the past few days and if she stayed here then he can see every day.

But suddenly Jin Yong wanted to know how she was able to pay such a huge sum of money. He had seen that people had been working busily on renovating the apartment in the last two weeks and the furniture's placed in the house was definitely not cheap. The owners did not look rich enough to afford such expensive furniture's then was it Hyun Na Bi who got it?

Without hesitation Jin Yong asked her, "Where did you get money to pay for this?"

"Huh? What?"

"How did you manage the lease amount for this?"

Hyun Na Bi had without a doubt believed that it was Jin Yong so did not have an answer to that question and answered what came to her mind.

"I… I took out my savings?"

Hyun Na Bi was puzzled. She had believed without doubt that Jin Yong was the one who paid for the house but after the conversation with him, she was sure that he was not related to it at all.

"What about your tuition fees?"

"Why the hell are you worried about it? Get lost"

Hyun Na Bi entered the house and locked the door after yelling at him. She entered the place only to avoid the questions she had no answer … yet…

If not Jin Yong then who else would spend so much money on her for no reason?

Was someone trying to watch her?

Hyun Na Bi ran inside the house and checked each and every nook and corner to see if it was bugged or if there were any hidden cameras but there were none. She quickly changed the pass code for the door before leaving unsure if this was a gift or if someone was playing with her. Her interaction was quite limited to very few people in the past and as far as she knew, she did not have any rich friends who wouldn't mind spending so much just on a friend.

The only person she could think about was Nam Joon Woo but he had no idea about this house. Another reason why she was hesitant to ask him was, she wasn't ready to search the answer for the question, if it wasn't him, then who would it be?

Hyun Na Bi thought of waiting for some more time before moving in here. Nothing seemed to be wrong here but she wanted to think for some more time before moving in. She tried to push the thoughts to the back of her mind and thought of focusing on others until she had to move in here…. tried to…

The next day when Hyun Na Bi met Nam Joon Woo in college she did not breathe a word about this.

Hyun Na Bi couldn't understand why this was happening to her now. The only change she had made from her past was to stop following or rather stalking Jin Yong. Apart from him everything else had remained the same. Maybe talking with Nam Joon Woo was changing the course of her future? Nam Joon Woo was just a rich kid who had too much money to do whatever he wanted and maybe it was him?

Hyun Na Bi had been thinking hard the whole day whether she should ask Nam Joon Woo about it but at last she gave up. She had tried hard to push the thought away from her mind but it was almost impossible. Her only question was who would spend so much money on her if they didn't gain anything from it. Nothing looked out of place in the apartment and to her amaze the rooms were fully furnished. As far as she knew it must have cost a ton on just the interior design and furnishing. The last time she had visited the apartment, it was totally empty and that meant that within the gap of fifteen days everything had been done.

Nam Joon Woo nudged her when they were in the classroom, "Did something happen?"

Hyun Na Bi shook her head.

That's when a thought crossed her mind. Did anyone time travel just like her? The rich people she knew in her past were so many, that it was impossible for her to narrow down to just one.

Hyun Na Bi smacked her head. It was a miracle that she had gotten a second chance in her life. How many people would get such a golden opportunity? She pushed that ridiculous thought aside and tried to focus on the boring lecture.

Just like that she fell asleep. She hadn't slept yesterday thinking about the house but the professor's voice was like a lullaby and within seconds she was in dream land.
