Chapter 44 She Has Nothing to Do With Me

After entering the venue, Caden held Scarlet's hand for a moment. "How are you?"

Scarlet smiled at Caden, "I'm fine. I'm not weak. What kind of scene have I not seen before?"

Caden looked at Scarlet, who was obviously very sad but was pretending to be strong. He felt very sorry for her.

Scarlet didn't get over William.

If she did, she wouldn't be affected at all by what William and Sarah did.

But now, William's one sentence was enough to make Scarlet sad.

"Scarlet, if you feel sad, we can leave now," Caden said softly.

Scarlet shook her head. "No need. If I don't see Arthur today, Amaya probably won't let me come back."

Scarlet paused for a moment. "Maybe she will ask me to break off all ties with you."

Seeing that Scarlet still had the mood to tell jokes, Caden was a little relieved. "That's right. We've got a mission from Amaya."
