"Okay. Then I'll wait for you to deal with it," Sarah replied.

William did not say anything more and hung up the phone directly.

When Scarlet walked out of Longley, Stephen just came out of the car.

"Mrs. Vance."

Out of habit, Stephen bowed to Scarlet.

Scarlet stopped and looked at Stephen, saying softly, "By the way, I suddenly remembered that when Sarah called William, she said she wanted to eat clam chowder but not cream soup."

Stephen was somewhat helpless.

Scarlet did not look at Stephen's expression and walked past him.

Longley was unlike other high-end residential areas. It was easy to take a taxi there because of the convenient transportation around.

Scarlet took a taxi with her phone as she walked.

About three minutes later, the taxi arrived.

After Scarlet got in the car, she told the driver the address of the hotel.
