Scarlet listened to Carmelo's words and followed his line of sight. She frowned slightly. "Mr. Buchanan, they are..."

Scarlet held back the rest of the sentence and said, "It's normal to have a companion on such an occasion. Don't think too much about it."

"Do you really think I'm old?" Carmelo looked back at Scarlet.

Scarlet pursed her lips and did not speak.
