The Lie
Kakashi had just gotten a mission from the Hokage. That was also part of the lie they were doing. He needed to go on a certain mission and run into Shikamaru, Naruto, and Sasuke who had been supposedly 'kidnapped' and 'save' them.
Shikamaru been awake for almost an hour now getting ready to be 'kidnapped'. He had to sneak away which wouldn't be hard. The hardest part about all of this is that they had to act as if they got 'kidnapped' accidentally and that they met up with each other accidentally just in case a Yamanaka looked into their memories to see what actually happened. There was a lot to do, Kakashi had to use his sharingan on the people who would be 'kidnapping' the others and put them in a genjutsu so that the kidnappers believe they kidnapped the three kids and gave them those scars. This was also in case a Yamanaka looked into their memories as well. (I don't know if the Yamanakas or anybody for that matter could tell if its a genjutsu just based off of their memories but in my story they cant)
Kakashi also had to put Shikamaru, Sasuke, and Naruto in a genjutsu so they had memories of it. This was cause Shikaku and Fugaku would no doubt look into Shikamarus and Sasukes brain to find out who did it. Kakashi had so much to do in so little time, but he made a vow to complete this no matter what.
On the other hand Shikamaru was making his own little 'play' of how he left the house and why. Naruto and Sasuke were doing the same thing however Sasuke had to be careful not to show his missing arm.
Shikamaru was outside walking towards the front of his compound very slowly because he was trying to give the others time to 'run' into him. Of course to anybody watching they would have just thought he was to tired. Sasuke came running around the corner and ran into Shikamaru.
Sasuke: "Hey watch it!"
Shikamaru: "Sorry *Yawn*"
Sasuke: "Hnn, anyways do you know the way back to the Uchiha compound?" He asked embarrassed he didn't know where his own compound was. He used whatever chakra he had to make it seem like his arm was there and Shikamaru tapped him on the shoulder telling him the direction while also giving him some of his chakra.
Sasuke: "Thanks" He said as he began to walk away.
Just then Naruto came running down the street bringing the 'kidnappers' close behind him. They were villagers who were apparently drunk. Of course by this point they were all already in a genjutsu made by Kakashi meaning that they weren't real.
Random Village 1r: "Oh look! If it isn't more little kiddies"
Random Villager 2: "Arn't you guys supposed to be in bed?" He said in a mocking tone.
Random Villager 3: "Wait, these three are together... are they friends?" He said looking disgusted.
Random Villager 2: "With the kyubi brat? We cant go having that now can we?"
Random Villager 1: "Lets bring them with us as well" He said with an evil smile.
They immediately started their acting and looked as if they were horrified while Kakashi was sitting back relaxing.
Kakashi: 'Man these kids can act' He thought to himself while eating an apple.
By that point the men had knocked them out and was dragging them with them.
(Elsewhere)
You could hear screaming coming from a house in the forest. The screaming was coming from Shikamaru, as they were cutting and stabbing his left arm and right leg healing it over and over again.
Sasuke: "STOP!"
Naruto: "PLZ ILL DO ANYTHING"
Random Villager 1: "Anything huh? Then why don't you take his place." He said smiling evilly.
Naruto took Shikamaru place but that didn't stop him as Random Villager 2 just took Random Villager 1's place and Random Villager 3 not long after started to injure Sasuke as well and 'cut' his arm off in the process. Kakashi arrived to save the day and after knocking the three villagers out he ended the genjustsu. The actual villagers were sitting in the same exact spot that the genjutsu villagers were in, how? Because Kakashi sent a clone he created in secret to go take care of them. He picked the three kids up and ran to the hospital to get them treated.
(The Next Morning)
After they got treated they woke up and asked Kakashi to not tell anybody what happened and pleaded him when he said no. Kakashi gave in when they said they would go back to the place their kidnappers took them and never come back. Of course this was all a part of the acting, the lie that they made up. They then told the nurses to keep it secret knowing that in the near future they would tell Shikaku, Fugaku and Sarutobi that they were there. They snuck back in their houses (minus Sasuke who went to Naruto's) with sad faces. However on the inside they were smiling ecstatically, happy that they were done getting the lie ready. They just had to act as if that lie had actually happened. They also had to go through the pain of seeing their dead family again. For Naruto it was Sarutobi and other people that he thought of as family and people that cared for him. For Kakashi it was really nobody. (couldn't think of anybody😂)
They all made their way home not looking forward but at the same time looking forward to seeing their family. Shikamaru, Sasuke, and Naruto made an agreement to meet at Shikmarus house so they didn't have to go through seeing their loved ones alone. Also so their parents can catch on to the 'play' they set up for them. They all felt really terrible about his lie they were making up.
