Amanda thought she was born this way, to be betrayed, and end up like a fool who doesn't know what it is to live like a powerful person. Chapter 64
"I swear! Even if we are married, you have no share of my wealth! Including you little girl!" Simeon pointed at Shannon,
"No! Please, he forced me-" Sabrina choked as Simeon grabbed her by the neck and slammed her against the wall.
"Enough!" Nicholas boomed.
Everyone shifted into silence.
Nicholas cleared his throat.
"First of all, Simeon, since you are now married to Sabrina, you are no longer part of this family. The company you've handled will now belong to Amanda. Second, not to worry, we will pay you a great compensation. Lastly, you are to leave first thing tomorrow. I will give you time to pack your bags now."
"Father, you can't do that. What about Shannon?" Simeon pleaded,
"Shannon is not your daughter. Even if she was, she is no longer my granddaughter now." Nicholas replied,
"What about Amanda? Without me, how will she continue without a father by her side?" Simeon exclaimed.
"Amanda has me. Also, she never has any real father by her side ever since Alfonso passed away. You've always mistreated her and excluded her as part of your family in your eyes."
"It is normal for a father to-"
"Discipline? You weren't even there when she needed you. When it comes to parents, she would always go straight for me. Since when have you acted like a real father to her?" Nicholas growled.
Simeon had no choice but to knelt down in tears and plead to Amanda.
"Mandy, please. Just this once, let me make it up to you." He sobbed.
But Amanda had set her mind clear.
"You heard grandfather? You are no longer part of this family. You aren't my father. Evermore." Amanda shooked him away coldly.
Sabrina was kneeling on the ground, bleeding.
Chase had to take her to the hospital before anything bad happens.
Simeon was fuming as Nicholas ordered guards to take him to his place.
Amanda was left in the house with Shannon.
Helpless, Shannon slumped on the couch not knowing what to do.
Amanda studied her for a moment.
'Back then, she was selfish and unforgivable. What happened last time after I died, really?'
Amanda sat on the opposite side.
"So you knew all the time you were adopted?" Amanda asked,
"Yeah. I was adopted when I reached the age of 15. The moment she saw me, she didn't hesitate and took me in." Shannon answered,
"Well, you look just like Simeon. Just a little retouch." Amanda nodded.
"Not before really. Sabrina had to spent a thousand dollars on plastic surgery to make me look just like him." She shook her head,
""That's horrible... what were you before?" Amanda asked.
