Amanda bolted up.
"You." She turned.
"I haven't heard from you for a long time." Chase sat and the windowsill.
"I've been busy lately." Amanda sighed.
She went to Chase for a hug.
They used to do silly things together.
Until Amanda moved away and Chase was now as cold as ice.
But his friendship with Amanda never faded.
"What's making you busy?" Chase carresed her hair.
"Just family matters." Amanda yawned as her head rested on his lap.
"Is there anything I can do to help?" Chase asked,
"Nothing much." Amanda pulled away.
Chase took a deep breath as he took the opportunity.
"I've been wanting to tell you this so I hope you'd listen to me seriously." He cleared his throat.
He had been waiting long for this.
"Amanda, I wanted to tell you something." He exhaled,
"Hm?" She tilted her head.
"I am going home to my mother's and she expects me to have a partner..." He turned away turning red.
"And?" Amanda raised an eyebrow, although she already knew what would happen next.
"Can you take the place as my girlfriend?" He cleared his throat,
"Since my friends have been busy with lovelife lately and I think I'm the only one who doesn't, so... Yes." Amanda yawned, giggling.
"Is that really the reason why you said yes?" Chase asked,
"Don't say anything else." Amanda fumed.
"Well, thanks. Call me if you need anything." He smiled.
He bent down and kissed her forehead before leaving.
When he was gone, Amanda smiled at herself as she twirled a strand of her hair.

Chase will be going to his mother's in two months so Amanda has to boost up the process.
She used her company to develop more and gained more customers till it shot up.
In two weeks, the main topic of the country is about the Snapdragon.
The company produces gadgets for home appliances, garden uses and etc.
Thanks to the influencers Amanda recruited, she has made it a success.
Although, among the public, the CEO of Snapdragon is mysterious and hidden.
