Chapter 28

- the fourth floor

Shannon excitedly walked faster up to Amanda's room.

'Good thing she goes home late at night' Shannon snickered.

Jason was dumbstruck about the decoration of the hallways.

"Yes. I live here all my life," Shannon grinned noticing Jason's expression.

They didn't notice Aurora, Ivy, and Heather at the room next to Amanda's.

They were too thrilled-except for Liam- to see Shannon's room.

"Here goes," Shannon opened the door.

Nora and Jason gasped as they see inside.

Everything was well-arranged.

The windows show off the city all around,

White curtains hang on each side of the window.

At the nightstand, stood a fluorescent lavender lamp.

The whole room was spacious.

It can even hold 2 playgrounds inside.

A crystal chandelier hung on the ceiling.

The computer table facing the bed, contained lots of gadgets.

While on the other side of the wall, next to the closet door was a vanity table.

And near the vanity table was a large study.

Everything was neatly arranged and decorated in different styles.

"What do you think?" Shannon asked looking at Liam,

"I have a similar room. Without the decorations," He exhaled.

"Well, I know I may be a neat freak. But, I like everything to be arranged neatly," Shannon grinned,

"So! My closet is over there," She pointed,

And looked at Nora.

Everyone turned their heads as the closet door opened.

'Shoot! Why is she here?!'

Shannon stared at Amanda in shock.

Amanda looked surprised too.

"What-" she spoke,

"What are you doing here sister?" Shannon bumped in.

Amanda gave her a blank stare.

"Um, what is going on?" Jason asked,

"What are you doing in my room?" Amanda regained her senses.

The three of them looked at Shannon.

"You said it was YOUR ROOM?" Nora scolded,

Shannon was unable to say a word.

"Y-y-y-yes!" She finally gasped,

"Whose room is it actually?" Jason exclaimed, confused about the situation.

"It is her room," Liam pointed at Amanda,

"How can you be sure?" Jason stared at his brother.

Liam sighed.

"That uniform over there," he points at the uniform beside the door, "I don't think Shannon has,"

'I should've noticed that!' Shannon clenched her teeth as she saw Amanda's uniform, neatly hanged.

"My sister usually-"

"Ahem. I don't know what you guys are blabbering about. But, it is rude to trespass into someone else's room without permission, and bring her friends inside." Amanda cut off Shannon's excuse.

"What's the commotion here?"

Everyone looked to see Simeon at the door.

"Daddy!" Shannon ran over to hug him.

Shannon was about to say something, and Amanda slammed the closet door.

"Father, didn't I say I was gonna occupy the fourth floor?"

Moments back,

Simeon happily greeted as he saw Amanda with three other people.

He clearly recognized Aurora and Ivy, the kids of influential families.

"So, they're your friends?" He asked,

Amanda nodded,

"They insisted I'd invite them over,"

Ivy pointed at Aurora,

"SHE invited them over."

The two started to argue.

Simeon laughed and happily offered that they could occupy the whole fourth floor.

'If I make a good impression to them, they'll surely be of good help in the future,'
