Back in Time To You
Amanda thought she was born this way, to be betrayed, and end up like a fool who doesn't know what it is to live like a powerful person. She only dreamed of living a simple life with Edmund, her fiancée. However, she didn't expect to be betrayed by someone she'd loved. She's lost everything but the precious ring her mother had given her. Knowing she couldn't let them have their way, she swallowed the ring before plunging to her death. However, she didn't expect to wake up in her room after her death. As she continues, she will be facing the same plot of her life. However, she will change it into a brand new life. But, as she goes on turning the tables. She will be encountering unexpected events that will make her change.
Chapter 14
Edmund looked at her with a happy look,
"But. I'm breaking off the engagement. I can't live with an unfaithful man." Amanda turned and left.
Vidia followed after her, excusing herself.
Despite Sabrina and the Freyers' pleading, Nicholas demanded to break off the engagement.
"Then what about the agreement?" Mrs. Freyer added, hoping for Nicholas to change his mind.
"I'll handle it," Chase interrupted and looked at Shannon.
Shannon blushed and stood up,
"Everyone, me and Chase fell in love-"
"Shannon will be engaged with Edmund," Chase announced
Everybody looked at him,
"But-" Shannon went to him.
She started to hold his hand but he avoided her.
"Wait-" Shannon started to run after him as he started to leave.

"Chase!" Shannon called after him,
"Who said you could call my name?" Chase turned and glared,
"Didn't we fall in love?" Shannon asked,
"Since when?" Chase turned cold.
"Since our first sight," Shannon looked down and smiled
"Disgusting," Chase replied
That made Shannon turn to him in shock.
Before she could say anything, Chase interrupted her,
"You seduced another man because he's rich and now you abandoned him when you saw me. You really are evil," He raised his hand,
"Sorry. Pathetic gold diggers aren't my type."
He turned and left, leaving Shannon stunned.
As Shannon went back in, Nicholas had made a decision,
"From now on, Edmund will be engaged to Shannon. This will not be changed." Nicholas stood up and excused himself.
As he was out of the house he ran into one of Chase's men who was holding a gift.
They greeted each other politely.
"What did Mr. Wilson mean earlier?" Nicholas asked,
"About what sir?" He replied confused,
"He said he wanted someone in our family." Nicholas looked at him
"Oh, it seems." the man chuckled.

As he stepped outside, someone suddenly caught his eye.
'It's her,' he smiled as he walked closer without anyone noticing.
After his eavesdropping, he finally decided to go home.
'I was still wondering how I'm going to make that two break up, but she made it easier for me. All the time I worried if she really loved him is suddenly becoming a joke.'
A smile spread slowly on his face as he continued driving.
