Azure Dragon Slayer (Fairy Tail Fantic)

It was the year X768 in the kingdom of Fiore. A cult of Zeref was roaming around, going through many villages, sacrificing all the villages to Zeref. An Azure Dragon by the name of Zagnivol had been roaming around by the Kakuna Village around this time. He sensed a gift of aura from a young boy and decided to adopt him as his own child. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Author's Note: This is the story which I had written in my free time over the last few months. I would be publishing a lot of chapters straight away. If you like it then comment, and review.

Threatening

Gildarts was standing on the sidelines with Master Makarov and he was having trouble holding back his laughter.

At around this time, Natsu opened his eyes and woke up. He was disturbed by the loud shouting in the guildhall.

As for the reason why he was in Guild Hall?

Wendy thought Shun and Mira would return back to the house, she didn't want Natsu to ruin their sweet time together, so… she brought him in the Guild Hall.

Natsu looked around and noticed many of the guild members were surrounding Shun. Shun had a bitter smile as if he didn't know what he should do.

Taking a look at Wendy who was standing by his side, Natsu asked, "Wendy… What's going on? Why has everyone surrounded Shun?"

Wendy let out a helpless sigh, "All of them want to ask Big Brother how he repelled a Dragon."

"What!? A DRAGON!? When did a Dragon come here!? How come I don't remember anything about it!?"

Gildarts standing with Makarov visibly flinched as everyone heard his loud shout. Should he reveal to Natsu that it was his own Father Igneel?

However, before he could even say anything, Shun opened his mouth and said, "Shut it, Natsu! I even took you to the field to meet it, but you wouldn't wake up! Just what drug did you take to sleep at such a time!? I couldn't take Wendy with me because she is far too young and the other Dragon Slayer I took with me kept on sleeping. You have any excuse for that!?"

His words were relentless as Natsu finally remembered the events that happened earlier. He was beaten to a pulp by Erza, that was why he was unconscious.

Now that everyone in the guild was staring at himself, he felt forced to respond to Shun's words, "What could I do!? Erza was the one who beat me so much that I lost my consciousness for some time!"

Shun just snorted at that response as he said, "Hmph… You are right, there was nothing you could do. You can't even beat Erza on your own… What could you do against a Dragon!? It was at least 10,000 times stronger than Erza. Your full-powered attacks would have felt like insect bites to him."

Not able to retort back since Natsu was clear about Igneel's power. He remembered it from the time when he trained with Igneel. Igneel was able to destroy a mountain on a whim. He could reshape the landscape as if it was nothing for him.

The comparison made by Shun wasn't wrong in the slightest.

However, Erza let out a snort in contempt, "You say as if you could defeat that Dragon. If I remember it clearly, I couldn't even sense your power."

Since it was Erza who spoke, Mira rose in Shun's defence, "Shut it, Tin-Can. Everyone here knows that it was Shun who repelled that Dragon. That is a fact."

Erza once again snorted while looking down at Shun from the 1st Floor (The S-Rank Floor), "I think he just happened to be there. The Dragon probably didn't want to fight after his hibernation, so he left peacefully. He would have slaughtered your pretty boy over there."

As Erza laid out her statement, Shun noticed some people dispersing from his side. He had an idea and immediately agreed with Erza's report, "You are right! What I did wasn't anything special! It was just a coincidence that I managed to sense a Dragon. We had a talk where I asked him about Igneel and Grandeeney, but it didn't know about them and left."

Like she had done something incredible, Erza looked incredibly proud at that. Mira looked a little lost as she turned towards Shun and noticed him winking at her to go along with this story.

Now… Half of the men had disappeared from his side. Only the jealous men who wished to be together with Mira remained.

To which, Shun had a simple yet effective answer, "You are dispersing or should I give you some motivation."

Azure Flames released from his hand and coiled around him with the shape of a Dragon.

"This is the new move I made just now. I do wanna check out how powerful this is. If none of you back away by the time I count to 3, I will consider you all Volunteers..."

Without any exception, all of them backed away, fearful that Shun would really use his new move against them.

Makarov and Erza looked ready to intervene in case Shun really decided to use it against these Guild Members. Fortunately for them, Shun dispersed the Azure Flames and continues to drink alcohol.

Though he couldn't get drunk, he found himself getting fond of its taste. It was a mystery to him how he could like such a bitter taste.

He was sure he had a sweet tooth. However, Alcohol was the only bitter thing he managed to drink.

Everyone still fearful of Shun's warning decided not to trouble him. Wendy and Mira approached him. Wendy was the one who asked him, "Did you really ask the Dragon where Grandeeney was?

To which, Shun pats her head and replies to her, "Grandeeney is always together with you, little sister. In your heart…"

Wendy was a little sad because this meant her Big Brother didn't manage to find Grandeeney. She sadly nodded and looked down.

She failed to notice the stern look in Shun's eyes as he was staring at Wendy as he thought 'So… Igneel was speaking the truth, huh? I can sense the power of a Dragon from within Wendy's body. The damage to Grandeeney's body seems a lot less than that of Igneel's body. It seems that Igneel was the only one who must have kept going on in their fight against Acnologia.'

A cold smirk formed it's way over to his face as he thought 'I guess my time living in peace is over. It's time to take some action...'

He then thought about what missions he should undertake to get stronger.

Regular missions like delivery and something wouldn't do. Shun then turns his gaze at the 1st Floor.

Erza narrowed her eyes as she glared at him.

Shun stood up and started walking towards the 1st Floor, the place where the S-Rank Mission Posters were kept. Erza stood her ground as she saw Shun coming towards her way and said resolutely, "You can't come on this floor. This is only for those who have become S-Rank Mage. As far as I remember, you aren't an S-Rank Mage."

Shun completely ignored her as if she didn't even exist. Every other S-Rank Mage in the guild had seemed to ignore Shun walking up the 1st Floor. Even Makarov and Gildarts didn't say anything.
