CHAPTER 7, THE SCREAMING FOOL

The room was completely empty except for the four nobles and the Baron. The Baron spoke with a proud voice. "Great head nobles, I ask you, why have you taken away my son's love from him?" The Baron asked and it caught my attention. Right now, I'm hiding myself using Leon's ability.

"We have no idea what you are talking about." Hoshi-san answered him and just then, a man, the man who was stalking Asami came into the room. "What is the meaning of this?"

"Bring her out! I know she's here, where are you my princess?! I love you so much, please do not hide from me." He shouted as the guards tried to restrain him.

"I see, you're the stalker Asami-dono mentioned." Himari-san said. "Unfortunately, she is currently under the protection of the Aerial Isles High Nobles."

"Why, we love each other... we deserve yo be together!!" He shouted and with a great push he pushed the guards away.

"S-stop, please... I'm begging you." Asami begged as she came into the room. Trembling and afraid she had tears in her eyes. "I've said it a hundred times... I don't love you!!"

"W-what are you talking about, you dress up for me, you work at the shop because I was a regular there." He spoke as he came closer to her and tried to grab her hand.

"You only decided that yourself!! Just because I worked there, you started following me... you started to make advances!!" She shouted in a loud voice. "I don't love you!!"

"You are mine!!" He said and tried to attack Asami and I snapped and from the shadows I cane out and pulled Asami closer to me and pushed him away. "How dare you push me, you measily soldier."

"I'd watch your tongue if I were you." Riku-san said as he stood from his seat. "We watched quietly and have come to an agreement that you are not her lover but someone who stalks her."

"Baron Chikyu, your son has been harassing this girl in an attempt to get her to marry him." I said as I held Asami in my arms. "We have found evidence that he burned her home in order to get her to obey him, as well as bully her younger brother to get her to submit."

"I see... forgive me for his misdeeds." He said and bowed his head before the four nobles.

"Y-you swine! Who are you to get in the way of our love!! You've been interrupting us time and time again!!" He shouted. "I'll cut off that head of yours for your insolence!!"

"Try it, and you'll be charged with treason and publicly executed." Ginga-san said as the Baron's son drew his sword.

"On what terms?!" He shouted.

"Shall we add attempted murder of the crown to your many misdeeds?" Tsubaki-san asked comming in from the window. "We have quite a lot of complaints about you."

"Pardon?!" The Baron asked. "Attempted murder of the crown!?"

"I'm not one for formal introductions but, Haru Morganite Tsuki, heir to the throne." I said and held Asami closer. "She is my fiancé."

His face grew pale at the realization of what he was about to do. "The charges against you are long and many." Tsubaki-san said as he unrolled a scroll.

"These are?" The Baron asked.

"The crimes your son has done." Tsubaki-san answered him. "Bribery, theft, embezzlement, assualt, arsenal, murder and many more."

"T-those are!!" He tried to deny it but the evidence was there.

"Baron Chikyu, your son has committed many crimes behind your back, causing problems for the people." Hoshi-san said. "We, the head nobles, cannot ignore them, especially now that the heir to the throne's fiancé is his target."

"I understand." He answered and bowed his head. "My son has been a foolish child, I shall accept any and all punishment you give him."

"Haru-kun, you give the sentence." Hoshi-san said as the guards restrained the Baron's son.

"I'd prefer it not to be death or a public execution. I want him to reflect on his mistakes." I told him.

"Then so be it. He is hereby bamished from the Aerial Isles and sentenced to work in the Gem Mines." Ginga-san said and the guards dragged him out of the room.

After that we all rested, the Baron apologized to me countless times but there was really no need for him to. While we were resting, Asami came and thanked me as well as apologized for the trouble she caused. I grabbed her by the waist and kissed her while I set her on my lap. "For someone I love, this much is nothing." I said and hugged her.

"H-Haru-san..." She was starting to tear up.

"Be it you, Aria, Ella or Yue, don't hesitate to ask for my help. That's why I'm here after all." I said and held her close. "For my beloved faincés this much is nothing."

After that she bursts into tears and I comforted her and she hugged me tightly. After she calmed down, she left my lap and sat down beside me and hugged.

She is more fragile than she appears, I'll protect her, no matter what, her and the other three as well. I'll protect them, no matter what.

"Ah that's right, I have been meaning to tell you something Haru-kun." Hoshi-san said.

"What is it?" I asked and he smiled.

"Tomorrow there's a festival and we plan to introduce you during it." He said with a smile that is rather scary. His eyes aren't smiling.
