CHAPTER 6, DEMON LORD AND PHANTOM GEM'S OBJECTIVE

We all gathered at the Arena since today the game was an interguild team batttle. There were many people gathered today. We were all gathered in the arena as the gong rang. "Everyone, let's go." Geo shouted over the speakers.

"Rise." I said and casted the spell of enhancement on everyone in our team.

"Hey, over here!" The man from Phantom Gem with a large build said charging my way.

"Watch it." Dia said knocking him back with her shield. If I recall she uses Creation Magic.

"Tilt." I casted the spell on all the enemies and we attcked them but just then a gun shot rang throughout the arena. I turned my head to the man from Phantom Gem who held a gun aimed at Storm. "Shield!!"

"Storm you okay?" Neph asked running his way.

"Yeah." He answered, he is... the guild master if I'm not mistaken!! His name was... Bright.

"What's the big idea!" Sky asked with an angry look on her face. Everyone had stopped the fight and looked at the Phantom Gem members.

"We're simply doing as we were told. Killing the members of Azure Gem." He answered with a grin. "Listen up, all of you! We the Phantom Gems, hereby demand the throne, or else, the prince goes bye-bye."

"That's!" I exclaimed looking at the thing in his hand. A small gem with a crimson hue. I can feel curse energy surging through it. "You're with the Demon Lord!!"

"Precisely. We want power, we'll have it or else." He said with a grin. "Come, Demon Lord."

From the darkness a Demon Lord appeared, it was exactly as the first pribce described it to be. It was huge, and from the dark mist around it smalk demons appeared. "You little!" The knight from earlier... I think Ella called him Valor, was about to say something we Lix-san cried out in pain as the man clutched the sphere.

"Give us what we want." He said.

"What do you want?" The king asked in a large voice form the viewing area.

"Money, as well as the right to decapitate the Azure Gem members." He shouted and everyone around us bared their fangs at him. "As of now, not just your son but all the people in this arena are our hostages."

The people in the arena were all in pain, us included. The mist seems to be doing something to them. "I can't give you that!!" The king shouted.

"Why do you hate us so much?" I asked.

"You... you had everything handed yo you because you were the Hero's descendant." Free said kicking me. "What's so good about you?!"

"Nothing... is handed to.. anybody." I told him. "Everyone struggles."

"You little!" He kicked me to the side again. "You're nothing! You're weak!! Without the Hero you are nobody!!"

"N-no body... can be strong... becaus of their family... it's true that everyone gains something... from being related to each other... power, money and fame... but it... will always cone with a price." I told him and stood up again. "Everyone strives... struggles... works hard... so that they can be... strong. The strength passed down to us... isn't our own... we have to make it ours."

"Ha? You don't get to say that!! You were blessed because you were related to the Hero but you're just nothing!!" He said and kicked me again.

"By the power I bare... come form of pure light... Fill this land with thy might... and drive away the dark... Blessed Ground." Lita chanted a spell and the black mist started to dissipate.

"A Goddess." The Demon Lord spoke in a loud voice.

"It's our chance, protect the people!" Master exclaimed to us and some members went towards the crowds and defeated the monsters in the way.

"Defend them." Clover ordered his members.

"There's nothing you can do now!!" Free laughed as the Demon Lord reached for us.

"Haru! Catch!" Suddenly Caelum came and tossed a sword to my direction.

"Thanks." I answered him as I caught the sword. It was beautiful, with a fine white blade decorated, the hilt made from a blue material. It was shaped like a katana.

"Do you think a normal sword can kill a Demon Lord, how pitiful!!" Free exclaimed hysterically.

"Tsuki Style Swordplay; Heaven's Blade." I said and a white light engulfed the blade.

"Fool!!" Bright yelled.

"Dance of the Demon Slayers, Seventh Dance, Demon King's Steps." I had planned on using this later, but right now I'm using Demon Slayer Magic.

"Demon Slayer Magic!!" Free exclaimed as the smirk was wiped off his face.

I jumped into the air and attacked the Demon Lord, though it was a little hard, the blade pierced it hide. I jumped away as it's hands tried to attack me but I was hit and sent flying back to the ground. "Hahaha! Fool! You're only making it easier for the Demon Lord to kill you!!" Free laughed.

"Haru, you okay?!" Clover asked as he fought with the little demons spawned by the Demon Lord.

"Do you think that's enough to kill me?" I asked and got back up.

"How?!" Bright exclaimed. "Y-you should have broken your bones from that!!"

"I'm a little shaken up alright." I answered, those attacks, if they hit me again and again I might be in serious trouble. This Demon Lord is ten times stronger than the one we fought before, can I really beat this thing?

"Don't be afraid, go forward." I heard a voice, this voice... Haruka! I immediately turned my head around. "I'll return half of our original power so defeat that Demon Lord."

"Thanks." I answered in the air.

Suddenly a white light engulfed my body and I felt a large amount of power fill my body. Strengthening all that I had. "That magical power, a Hero's descendant?" The Demon Lord spoke.

I jumped into the air and casted a spell I learned from Haruka. A spell that exercises my blessings and my power as the Hero. "I, Half of the Hero of the Goddess of Light and Keeper of the Stars, Haruki Morganite Tsuki, now implore thee, white light of purification, spirit of the new dawn..." I chanted as I held my sword and behind me angel wings came out.

"You are dangerous!!" The Demon Lord said and charged at me, with its large arms it tried to grab me.

"Grant me the might of thy light, so that I may banish the encroaching darkness, Divine Trance." With the spell activated my blade shines a pure white hue and a golden light pours out of my body. I charged forward with blade in my hands and I clashed with the Demon Lord. "Everyone, please leave, immediately. This will get dangerous."

"Okay, we're done evacuating the people and we've subdued the members of Phantom Gem." Aria answered me.

I charged at the Demon Lord with all I had as everyone had left the building. My blade clashed with his limbs and every cut left a deep wound on his body. Our two mights clashed and with all I had I cut it's hands off. Blood poureed out from them and finally I was able to decapitate him. I had lost consciousness but not before he could tear of my right arm.

Lita's POV

We watched from afar as Haru fought with the Demon Lord. Haruki, I'm sorry I couldn't be of anymore help for you. "Hey, what's with those angel wings Haru just grew?" Dia asked as we were all together in a group.

"Divine Trance. A spell that exercises the full power of the Hero and the blessings they recieve." I answered her. "But he mustn't over use it, otherwise he will follow the first and second generation Heroes who ascended to the higher plains."

"What do you mean?" Aria asked.

"Divine Trance, is in terms a spell which cuases a person to temporarily gain higher form of magic, a small inch of divinity." I answered them. "But like all great things, a price must be paid, the one who uses it will slowly ascend to the higher plains, where we the divine are."

"Ehh?! Isn't that bad?!" Storm asked me.

"In Haruki's case, it even wprse, due to the divine blood in his viens." I said as looked at Haruki fighting the Demon Lord. "Among his entire family, Haruki is the first to be born with blood of all the races."

"Wait! What do you mean divine blood?!" Yue exclaimed.

"On Haruki's tenth birthday, he was attacked by assailants who wanted to eliminate the lineage of Heroes. I, who had been watching over their bloodline as a promise with the first Hero, descended." I answered them. "Haruki was on the verge of death, in dire haste, I transfered some of my divine blood into him. Haruki's parents noticed this and sealed away his memories, there is still much to Haruki that most of you don't know."

"Like what?" Aria asked with a sad expression.

"Even now, he is in pain. We have to stay by his side, he is a gentle person at heart. I was worried about him for a long time." I admitted. "Just stay by his side with a smile and offer him a hand every now and then, that will truly make him happy."

I turned my head and saw that the fight had ended. We all rushed to the scene and we found Haruki, floating in the sea of blood that filled the arena, his right arm torn off. We immediately got him out of the sea of blood and healed his wounds. He had lost consciousness but he is fine. "His arm will be fine too, the vampire and werewolf blood in him will heal his lost arm. But even so, this idiot!! Despite having high healing ability, he shouldn't push himself!!" I exclaimed with both anger and guilt.

"Lita... don't scream... so much..." He said and I turned my attention to him.

"Haru!!" The five of us brides, exclaimed and hugged him.

He feel back to his sleep and were about to bring him back but the first prince and princess told us to bring him to the castle.

Haruki... I'm sorry I can't help you much, but I swear, I'll be by your side and ensure that you won't follow your first and second ancestors from ascending. I'll protect you, no matter what.
