Chapter 23, Party and Departure

When I opened my eyes again, it was already night. I got up and hopped off my bed. I hear sounds coming from downstairs so I went down. I was about to descend when I noticed my clothes were just my plain black shirt and pants. I think I'll have to make new ones later. As I descended the steps, I see that my cousin is already up and about and the tables have been lined with foods from home. I smile as I come down.

"What's with all this?" I asked gently.

"Haruka!! Well... err... it's an engagement party. For you and the girls." Takeshi said and I laughed. "Hey!"

"Like the ones we do at home right?" I asked and he just blushed beet red. "Thanks, I appreciate it."

"Your my cousin after all." He said and smiled.

"Oh yeah. Where's everyone else?" I asked.

"Not here yet. And I think that's good. You need to change into something more dignified." He said as he looked at me.

"I know that." I answered and yawned. "I'll go change. Can you handle this place?"

"Sure." He smiled and I went upstairs.

I create a variety of new clothes for me to wear seing as how I do need more clothes. In about half an hour everything is done.

White dress shirts and navy blue vests with dark blue pants and shoes. A black shirt with a silver hooded jacket that has black sleeves with black jeans and boots. A white coat with golden trimmings and navy blue shirt with a black pants and boots. I make a few jewelries to match them as well. Necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings.

I bathed for a bit realizing I must stink and after which realize that I smell like roses. Tsuki must've added something to the water, there's also something else, maybe oil because I feel it slip through my fingers. I dry off, tie my hair which has only gotten longer and change into clean pair of underwear before deciding what to wear.

I wear a white long-sleeved dress shirt with a navy blue cardigan and black pants with black shoes and wear a necklace, it a simple one, with a dark blue tear shaped gem with the Tsuki Insignia in it. I take out a special flower from the storage box and pin it to my shirt. It gives off a gentle aroma and mixing with the rose scent on my body they make a scent that make you feel relaxed.

I hear the horse carraige pull over outside, greetings exchanged and laughter and happiness can be heard. I simply smile, they've arrived it seems.

I descended the steps and open the door that elads to the shop to see everyone happily mingling and smiling. This is the kind of thing I want to protect. My wish, is that they can always smile happily like this. I stepped out and everyone stared at me.

"Is something wrong?" I asked.

"Your glowing blue." Jason said as he stared and checked and saw that I was indeed glowing blue.

"This is... Hero's Vow?!" I exclaimed.

"It is. It's the same when Haruki fulfilled his Desire. So which is this?" Ryusei-san said.

"Haruki awakened the Desire and Will." Takeshi stated. "So, only Dream and Wish are left."

"It's my Wish." I answered and smiled. "My wish is to... make everyone happy."

"Seems like you." Takeshi smiled and had me sit down. "I'm going to tie your hair for you okay?"

"Thanks." I answered since my hair has grown yet again.

"Haruka, you smell like roses, lavender and sunshine." He said. "The sunshine scent must've been from Hero's Vow. What about the lavender? Roses were from the bath."

"Ah, it's from this. It's a special flower that causes you to feel relaxed and smell your favourite scent." I stated.

"No wonder I smelt oranges." Ryusei-san laughed.

"What is Hero' Vow?" Priscilla-baa-san breaks the silence of the people beside us.

"It's an awakening of a Hero." I answered. "It's only occurs in the Main Family. For the Core Families, they have Manifestations."

"What's that?" Misa-san asked.

"We become aware that we are people who share the Hero's Blood even if it's indirectly and we are chosen by him." Takeshi answered as he tied the ribbon near the top making my hair go down my back. "When we manifest we change a bit. For me, when I manifested as the Spirit Core Heir, I became a demi-spirit."

"Ryu's already manifested hasn't he?" I asked and he nodded. "Me and Haruki have missed a lot of things."

"Don't worry about it. You had no choice." He smiled and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and held the rest in place with a hair pin. "Done."

"Thanks." I smiled and stood up. "Now then, we have come here to celebrate."

"Ain't that the truth." Eugen-san said.

We all celebrated the night away, drinking and eating to our hearts content. When most of us had come to it was already dawn. I had gotten up earlier to do some work when Hermes and Zeus waved out to me.

"What's wrong?" I asked as I oocked the door behind us.

"Master, we don't have much time left. The seal is becoming undone. At this rate..." Zeus hesitated to finish his sentence.

"I know. We don't have much time. For that purpose, I'm giving you two a special mission." I said and held their hands in my. "No matter what, you are going to protect this town while I go out to seek help from the other Guardians."

"Then take these with you." Zeus handed me a sword and Hermes handed me boots.

"These are...?" I raised my eyebrow.

"My Anti-Titan Artifact. The Sword Of Zeus, it can cut them down. I'll entrust it to you." Zeus said.

"This is mine. The Anti-Titan Artifact, Hermes' Boots which grant you the ability to teleport from town to town." Hermes said. "We'll protect this town for now. Hurry."

"Don't worry. They have us here too." Takeshi said as he patted my shoulder. "Go."

"Thanks. I'll leave the girls and the town to you." I said and changed my boots and fixed the sword on my belt. "I'll be back as soon as I can."

"Take care. No matter what, don't overdo it!" He shouted and I noded my ehad before leaving.

This is the best way, it's faster and I won't have to worry about the girls stopping me. I'll be back as soon as I can, I promise. So for now, just stay safe.

I turn my head and see the dawn, it may be a while till this continent will be able to admire a dawn

peacefully again.
