CHAPTER 13, SUDDEN PROPOSAL

I carried Yue-sama to the outskirts of town where we were stopped by Neph and the gang, they were apparently delayed a bit but they made it. The horses that Yue-sama rode on were apparently spooked by the boulder earlier and all ran away. I offer to carry her till we reached the guild and it seems she's fine with it. I notice Aria looking at me with a sad expression, I hope she fine. Upon arriving at the guild I set Yue-sama on the chair, there I had her remove her shoes at it seems the swelling was pretty bad. It must have been from when she tripped earlier. I take out the ointment from my backpack and rubbed it on her. "Yue-sama, I recommend you rest you foot for about two weeks, apply ice on it when it's resting and avoid overexertion for a while." I say as I massaged her foot.

"My precious Yue, I'm glad your safe." The Earl came running into the room. "Yue, how do you feel my dear?"

"I feel great father, this man here was the only reason I got back safely." She says.

"I-it isn't true, everyone in the guild helped to search for Yue-sama." I say, I can't take all the credit.

"No, I think this was all thanks to you." Clover-san says. "You were the first one to find her location and the one who saved her from being flattened by that boulder, you were also the one who carried her back."

"That's right, giving credit when credit is die is proper, you must also be proud of your own work." Queen-san says. "You achieved more than we did, Yue-sama we are sorry but we couldn't obtain the Aries Wool for you."

"Ah, in regards of that we also have the Aries Wool." Yue-sama answers. "He's to thank for that too."

"Hey I've been wondering but where did you get that muffler Haru?" Neph asks me.

"Ah, this? It was a gift from Aries for saving her." I say. "It's really nice, it's warm in these cold conditions. It's probably made from Aries Wool as well."

"Does that mean you made a contract with Aries?" Aria asks.

"Yeah." I answer and recall another thing. "You won't have to worry about the wolf attacking anyone anymore. I also made a contract with him."

"Cool." Neph says. "But why was it even attacking people?"

I take some time to explain to the others the events that unfolded after we were separated, about what happened inside the cave about Aries' injury and about Shadow's Order and why Lupus was attacking others. After explaining Aria hands me water bottle and I open it and drink some water. My throat does feel parched after all that walking and talking. "Father, I've decided." Yue-sama says while looking at me.

"What have you decided my dear?" The Earl asks.

"I will marry this man, Haru." She announces.

"Eh~h?" Everyone exclaims.

"What!?" Aria shouts.

"Why would you chose him?" The Earl asks.

"He has a kind personality and he helped me every time I stumbled and feel inside that cave, without him I would've died when I almost feel of the arch we were walking on inside the cave." She says.

"Then very well." The viscount says.

"Eh~h! With all due respect is it fine to let your daughter marry a man of unknown origin?" I ask.

"It's fine, after all, she gave you her okay." He answers.

"I possess the Special Eyes of Character, I can tell what kind of nature a person has. You have a gentle and kind nature about yourself, please do consider." She says bowing, when she says that how can I refuse. My grandpa told me my great grandfather had five wives, he had three but two of them didn't have any children and died long before I was born, dad had another wife but I think she died a while back or so he told me.

"Please give me time to consider." I say and sit down. "Master, may ask for advice?"

"I don't see why not." She says. "The final decision is yours."

"Then... can I please give you my answer tomorrow." I say and bow my head. "I want to make a decision I won't regret."

"It's fine by me." The viscount says and I rush outside to be alone.

Once I was alone I summoned Leo and asked for his advice. All he told me was to follow my heart, I don't exactly hate Yue-sama, her clumsiness is actually cute and her caring personality is nice too. Leo also tells me that our family has always been the type to have many wives, my uncle from my mother's side apparently had multiple wives, ten to be exact. I guess, at my age I haven't thought about narraige yet. I'll try to let her down easy tomorrow.

Just then when I was about to go back the tails that were following us drew closer until we could see them, o was about to take up arms when Leo stops me and points to the emblem on their gloves, they're wearing black shirts, blacks shorts with black stockings, black cloaks and black masks with black goggles. On their gloves are emblems similar to the emblem on my necklace. No doubt about it their not enemies but allies. "Who are you?" I ask the two.

"Haru no need to be on high alert, they're members of Tsukikage, the serve or served your family for generations. The name Tsukikage mean Moon's Shadow. They aren't enemies."

"Forgive us if we have made you suspicious, we have been following you since you lit the signal fire." A woman's voice says. "We've been waiting, for the descendant of the Hero's return."

"Why do people keep following me?" I asked them.

"To ensure our kings return." They answered.

"King?" I titled my head.

"Haru, in case you haven't realized it, you are technically royalty, and the sole heir to the Aerial Isles throne." Leo said.

"What!?" I asks. "Explain."

"You remember when I said the only one who can use our true power is someone born from Aerial Blood and Royal Blood right?" He asks and I nod. "The Royal Blood refers to someone who is a member of the Aerial Isles Royal Bloodline. Your Father was the previous king until his untimely death. During which he left a dying message via telepathy, one day his son will come to take his place and succeed the throne."

"Eh~h!" I exclaim. "Wait, does that mean I'm royalty?"

"Yes." The woman answers. "Although I doubt your parents or grandparents would have mentioned it."

"I see. So why are you here?" I ask Tsukikage.

"We are here to ensure you return safely." The woman answers and hands me a small crystal with a moon on it. "Should you need our assistance simply raise this into the sky and we will arrive."

"Okay." I say.

With that one problem has been solved but there's another one, the proposal. About my succession of my family's kingdom, I'll cross that bridge when I get there. This scarf feels so warm that I haven't realized it's already dark. I make Leo return and head back to the guild. There Silver-san gives me room keys and tells me the others are already there. When I open the door the ones I'll be sharing the room with are Storm, Neph and Jade. I place my bag down and I decide to go and take a bath, at the males bath there's a giant tub and the first thing is ti wash yourself first before entering the tub. As I strip in the changing room, I step out with a towel covering my groin. I wash off before entering the tub, the ones who are soaking in the water are Clover-san, the man I had a match with earlier I think his name is Blight, Aqua and Rogue. I join them in the water and we relax and soon Neph joins us. "Haru, I have a question." Neph says and I open my eyes and look at him.

"What is it?" I ask.

"Are you going to marry Yue-sama," he asks and all eyes turn to me. "Well?"

"Who knows." I say and get out of the water. "I can't take anymore problems for today."

"Okay then." He says and head back to my room after changing into a blue jacket and black pants that I've tucked into my shoes, I also wear the muffler Aries gave me.

As I pass by the main hall, I felt it comming. I b

need to go somewhere without crowds but I lose strength and fall on my knees. The surge this time, it's stronger than the others, I unintentionally let out a strong scream which causes the others to gather around me. "Haru, are you okay!?" Ariacame rushing.

"I-I'm... ahhhh... fine!" I answered as I held my head. "I-in... my room...argh! Th-there's... medicine... right... pocket!"

Neph immediately ran up the starirs and took the medicine, he came back as I was clutching my head. He handed me the medicine and I drank the whole vial and finally calmed down. "You okay now?" Clover asked me and I nodded my head.

"I'll... be fine... it's something thatbhappwns after I sign a contract with Zodiacs." I told him as they helped me up. "I'm going to sleep for now."

As I retired to the comfort of sleep I could feel my body relaxing and mind calming down and I soon fall asleep. The next morning, the memories I received were memories about royalty and nobility. I guess I'm really a noble, I can't really go back to sleep so I'll go out for a jog. As I stretched and went outside for a jog the town is quite beautiful when illuminated by the morning light. I jog around town, it's getting even colder recently as the trees lose all their leaves. I guess it'll be winter soon? After crossing a bridge in the town park I run into a familiar face. It's Silver-san, as the two of us jogged together he told me all sorts of things and when he said he was going back I told him I'd like to jog a but more. After thirty minutes I returned to the guild and had breakfast with everyone, after breakfast I was asks by Aria to accompany somewhere.
