CHAPTER 29 - I'M STILL HUMAN (1)

"Alright, can you stop pouting and angry at me, please? ", asked Kay to Belfast and Wales. "I'm not going to start this meeting just to get scolded. I'm here to say something important to you".

Belfast and Wales seem pretty angry at Kay, they're still pouting and ignoring him for a while. This is because Belfast saw that Zuikaku and Kay were sleeping together when she came to his room. With Zuikaku embracing Kay, Belfast 's heart stirs with jealousy.

"I 'm sure Zuikaku didn't mean to sleep with our shikikan," Shoukaku said. "She probably wanted to say something to shikikan without anyone interrupting her."

Belfast and Wales are relieving a deep sigh. They knew they were guilty, too, but they also hoped that Kay would be more serious and more careful when dealing with other girls.

"So, what do you want to say to us, commander? "Queen Elizabeth asked. "Is this about the Eagle Union?"

Only the Royal Navy is allowed to attend this meeting with the exception of Vestal, Helena and Cleveland and Kay's guests. The rest are Wales, Belfast, Hood, Illustrious, Queen Elizabeth and Warspite.

"Quite yes," answered Kay. "But, before that...where are Nimi and Ayanami?"

In another location, Z23 screams after realising that she's late for the meeting. She oversleep due to sleepover with Unicorn, Laffey, Javelin and Ayanami.

"Well, just ignore them," Kay said. "I'm going to ask Belfast to tell them later. How is Enterprise condition, Vestal?

"She is still injured and quite shocked," Vestal said. "I am very sorry for the action she has taken on you, Commander. I hope you will forgive her for that.

"I don't think that action can be resolved just by forgiveness," Hood said, interrupted Vestal. "Remember that even thought she was losing, she dared to attack the commander. If something happens to the commander, she deserves to be punished.

"That's enough, both of you," Kay said calmly. "I don't want to talk about her punishment. I'm here to tell you all about her problems".

Kay and the others remember that Enterprise unleashed her ability that resemble Kay's element, [Lightning Element, First Form]. There is no mistake in their observation.

"I thought only commander could use that ability," Wales said. "Is there any relationship between you and the Enterprise?

"I'm sure she isn't my child", said Kay. "...I'm just joking so please don't look at me liked that. She is not an Element and I thought it's just coincidence."

"What do you mean, commander?", asked Wales.

"For example, Zuikaku has fire abilities, but she's not a fire element," Kay said. "But, it's pretty odd considering that only element does have that ability."

"And not to mention, I am an Element Slayer. If Enterprise is an Element, she should feel very scared of me if I emit my aura".

"We're supposed to be extra careful with Enterprise," Queen Elizabeth said. "Her influences are too dangerous to be left alone, since almost all Eagle Union will follow her instead of Cleveland."

There is no easy way to change the leader if the people themselves have already decided the leader that will guide them. Kay could force the Eagle Union to accept Cleveland, but it could only make it worse. So, Kay was initially against the idea.

"We still have enough time before the ceasefire ended to fix this problem," Kay said. "Until then, we will remain vigilant, especially towards the Eagle Union. They're still locked up for a week, consider this to be their punishment".

"Royal Maid will kept them in guard, master", said Belfast. "So, there is no need for master to be worried."

"Thank you", said Kay. "Now, for Enterprise...I think I will handle her later. So, please keep looking her, Vestal."

"As you wish, commander", said Vestal. "I'm very sorry and I hope you forgive her."

A few minutes later, most of the girls leave the meeting room. Only Belfast, Wales, Shoukaku and Zuikaku have decided to stay with Kay for a while. They wanted to ask him a few questions because this is just a good opportunity to ask him about Enterprise.

"If I may, commander. Can I ask why you decided to...let Enterprise alive?", asked Wales politely. "I'm sure commander indeed decided to kill her, but you suddenly stop moving."

"Wiseman stops me from ending her life", said Kay while reading at the report.

Wales and the others become confused as Kay can easily noticed it by looking at their gestures.

"Just forget about it", said Kay. "Just because she attacked me, it doesn't mean I allowed to kill her. A good leader don't punish recklessly, since someone will not make mistake without any reason."

"And, I knew her reason."

Azur Lane is in fire, getting attacked by unknown enemies.Several aircraft bombing the area, leaving nobody to be alive. There is a girl, watching the others to be killed by the torpedoes. Children burning alive after being trapped, with no chance to left this place.

The girl wants to help them, but it's proof futile. The fire is too hot and the smoke made her very hard to breath. The only she can does is only watching them to die.

The girl cover her face with her own hands as she is too scared to see. She stills can listens to them, screaming for help.

"Why...why is this happening?", asked the girl while in tears. "Why you killed them!!"

The girl is shouting and screaming at someone that relentless killed the innocent girls in Azur Lane. She burned the building, destroying using her aircraft.

With her wicked face and stone heart, nothing will stop her.

"Why you killed them? They did nothing wrong", asked Enterprise. The only girl who managed to survive from this disaster.

"Because that's what you want, Enterprise", said the girl.

"Who are you?", asked Enterprise. "And, why you have the same face as me."

"I'm you, born from your hatred, from your wicked personality deep in your heart", said the girl. "I'm your Alter, Enterprise."

"Enterprise Alter?", asked Enterprise in utter confusion.

"Your wasting your strength, Enterprise", said Enterprise Alter. "After several months passed, you still did nothing. Your awaken power are crucial to win this war. However, you just wasted it."

"How did you know?", asked Enterprise.

"I'm you, Enterprise", said Enterprise Alter. "And because of your ignorant, I possessed your body several times. Especially when fighting against Crimson Axis."

"That stupid commander is not worthy to lead us in order to win this war. So, I have to push myself to lead Azur Lane."

"The Eagle Union treatment toward him probably my fault but he deserves that."

"And that dumb Royal Navy, sticking with him liked a loyal pet."

There is the truth behind her words as she is the one who responsible who distancing the relationship between the factions. She slowly incitements the others to hate Kay, trying to reject his authority.

"So, that was you!!", shouted Enterprise. "You're the one who keep telling me to hate him!! Why...why would you do that?"

"He is slowpoke, Enterprise. He never lead us to win the war", said Enterprise Alter. "He just playing around with us."

"He saved us!", shouted Enterprise.

"He betray us!", shouted Enterprise Alter.

Both of them are looking at each other, refuse to give up. The split personality in Enterprise is the source for the problem. Just as Kay predicts, Enterprise is the one who hold the responsible.

"Nothing will changed if we keep arguing", said Enterprise Alter. "But, don't worry too much. After I manage to completely possess your body and mind. I will lead Eagle Union to betray that commander."

"Then, I have to stop you", said Enterprise while aiming her bow towards Enterprise Alter. "If you are the sole reason. Then, I will handle this by myself."

"That's very reassuring, Enterprise", said Enterprise Alter. "Because your personality, I can easily possess you little by little."

"What!!", said Enterprise.

BOOM...BOOM...BOOOM...

Suddenly Enterprise someone screaming, wanting help. Some girls are badly injured after being attacked. They are screaming for help.

"This is a good opportunity", said Enterprise Alter while going towards the injured girls.

"Wait!! Why are you going to do?", asked Enterprise.

Alter Enterprise aiming her bow towards the girls and shots them without any mercy, leaving Enterprise surprised.

BOOM....BOOMM...BOOM....

"No!! Why you killed them?", asked Enterprise. "They are with us!"

"There is no need to let weak girls alive", said Alter Enterprise. "They only will become our burden."

"Now, watch them get killed by me."

Enterprise Alter relentlessly attacked the others girl without any mercy, leaving Enterprise in vein. She can't prevent Enterprise from killing the others. Tears drop from her eyes, begging for help.

"Pleas...please stop", said Enterprise while crying. "I beg you."

"Just accept your fate, Enterprise", said Enterprise Alter. "Let me control your body."

BOOM.....BOOM....BOOM....

KLANG.................

"What the...who are you?", asked Enterprise Alter as she felt someone holding her bow. "You...you....this is not possible."

"Why are you here, human?".

A few minutes before, Kay is wondering around Eagle Union dormitory. He is checking on them to make sure they don't do anything stupid. He doesn't need any permission to enter their dorm, so not a big problem at all.

"Everyone probably already sleeping", said Kay as he looks at his watch. "Well, I just coming here without any intuition. But, I felt someone is calling for me around this place."

As he looks around the corridor, he saw Enterprise is laying down on the floor, unconscious.

"Erm...I can't ignore her, right?", asked Kay while walking towards her. "Is she sleep walking? And why her is in pain?".

"You shouldn't be here, human!", shouted Enterprise Alter angrily. "You always interrupt my plan and this...time...I will..."

SLASH

That man which resembles Kay suddenly slashed Enterprise Alter, making her unconscious. Then, enormous lightning surround him and destroy the area.

He looks at Enterprise and smiling at her. He told her something before he slowly left her alone, liked a dust.

CRACK...CRACK...CRACK

"It's only a dream, my little Enterprise"

"I will always protect you, so you don't need to be worried anymore."

"You're a strong girl. You will be fine, I promised."

That night, Kay is carrying Enterprise that still unconscious. He decides to call Helena for help.

"Helena this is Kay, commander of Azur Lane", said Kay.

It takes some times for Helena to answer him, probably because she is still sleeping.

"What can I do to help you, commander?", asked Helena while yawning.

"Can you call Vestal for me?", asked Kay. "I currently in your dormitory and I don't think I should suddenly barged in girls room without their permission."

"These girls don't care, commander", said Helena half-asleep. "They probably happy if you just come inside their room."

"Wait...what?", asked Kay.

"................."

Kay decided to carry Enterprise into her own room. Then, he puts Enterprise on her own bed.

"I'm more happier to see her cute face liked this rather than she staring at me", said Kay. "I really don't want to mess around her but I just can't leave her liked that."

"Maybe I shouldn't ignore her."

A few minutes later, Kay can see Vestal, Yorktown, Hornet and Helena coming towards him. Vestal quickly running as she saw Enterprise that still unconscious.

"Enterprise! What is happens to her, commander?", asked Vestal.

"I just saw her laying around here", said Kay. "So, I have been carrying her but I figured up that I should inform you first."

"Thank you, commander", said Vestal. "I will take of her."

"No need to thank me. I just did what I always do", said Kay. "Now, if there is nothing more, I will leave this room."

"Wait, Commander!", said Yorktown, prevent Kay from leaving.

"What do you want, Yorktown?", asked Kay.

"As her sister, I'm very thankful to you", said Yorktown. "I knew she did something horrible to you, commander. I hope, maybe you can talk to her rather than ignoring her."

After the last battle, Kay is ignoring Enterprise even thought she has something to say to him. Yorktown thought that Kay and Enterprise can have a little talk to express each other. If he kept ignoring her, the problem will be unsolved.

"I can understand that, Yorktown", said Kay. "However, her action towards me appears to make Royal Navy angry at her. I don't want to make any fuss but I'm not interested to just have a little talk to her."

"But, if commander still behave liked this. There will be no end for this problem", said Yorktown. "I know I'm asking you too much but I can't let this problem become worse."

"Then, how about asking Enterprise to not acted like a children?", asked Kay. "Ask her to stop disobey my order and stop give me a headache."

"I'm sorry commander", said Yorktown. "I knew you very mad but Enterprise is quite persistent. But deep down, I knew she is a good child."

"Alright...alright, I supposed that maybe I should to talk to her", said Kay, already giving up. "But, I will talk to her later. Is that good enough for you, Yorktown?"

"That's good enough for me, commander", said Yorktown. "And still, I'm very sorry for her actions."

"She basically left a mark at his head, Yorktown-neesan", said Hornet.

"Please keep your mouth shut, Hornet", said Yorktown while glaring at Hornet.

A few days later, Sakura Empire.

"Nothing much to see here, again", said Prinz Eugen. "It's starting to get bored, watching this ship just motionless."

Kay asked Prinz Eugen to look at Orochi at the Sakura Empire. Since Kay politely asked her, Prinz Eugen happily accepted that request. Although, she eventually bored watching it.

"Now, I really hope this ship do something", said Prinz Eugen. "But, in the same time...I don't want that happens either."

Orochi, a ship that capable to control mass produced sirens. Its technologies are beyond their understanding. Yet, the technologies failed to make they win the battle against Azur Lane.

"Orochi...a ship from sirens technologies", murmured Prinz Eugen. "But, Ironblood doesn't need sirens technologies anymore if we have Kay as our ally. I wonder what he doing right now."

Chirp...chirp...chirp...

"It's you again, little bird", said Prinz Eugen. "Is there something...wrong?"

"Isn't that Kaga"

Prinz Eugen suddenly realized that Kaga are on the top of Orochi, standing still. Prinz Eugen is wondering what's Kaga doing. Until she felt the cave is unexpectedly become unstable.

RUBBLE.....RUBBLEE....RUBBLE....

"What's going on?", asked Prinz Eugen.

The bird is trying to pull her hand, telling her to get away from the cave. Prinz Eugen follows the bird to the exit.

An earthquake hit Sakura Empire, waking all the residents there. They are in pure panicked as they thought that they are being attacked by enemies. Some of the girls are running to go outside, and they saw a large ship coming out from the cave.

The ship is massive, creating fears to Sakura Empire.

"Orochi! But how?", asked Takao. "That ship shouldn't move!"

"Looks on the ship, Takao!", shouted Atago.

"Isn't that Kaga! What she doing there?", asked Takao.

"She is the one who activated Orochi", said Prinz Eugen. "I barely manage to get out before the cave collapsed. You have my thanks, little bit."

Orochi is moving away from Sakura Empire with nobody knew where the ship will go.

"How can she do that? She already disobey Nagato-sama order to stop all Orochi operation", said Takao.

"It's pretty obvious, she is working with sirens after all", said Prinz Eugen, making Takao and Atago surprised.

"That's a serious claim, Prinz Eugen", said Atago. "There is no way Kaga will betray Sakura Empire."

Prinz Eugen seems to be uninterested to talk about that. She wants to tell Kay immediately about this problem. This a huge matter and Prinz Eugen knew she needs to act fast.

Chirp...chirp...chirp...

The eyed of Mr. Eagle saw everything and flows toward Kay as he activates the [Eagle Eyes].

At the Azur Lane, the girls are wondering why their commander suddenly stop moving and staring at the tree. Kay closed his book and get up from his chair. Then, he immediately called Helena.

"Helena, this is Kay commander of Azur Lane", said Kay.

"What can I do to help you, commander?", asked Helena.

"Inform all representative of Royal Navy, Zuikaku, Shoukaku, Ayanami and Nimi to meet me, right now", ordered Kay. "We have red code situation."

"As your wish, commander", said Helena.
