77 Story 6 Hughammer Chapter 2

I was used to hugs. Honestly, I grew up getting all the hugs and snuggles from all the moms I could want. And Christmas with more than twenty moms was just so awesome! As they always tried to outdo one another in getting me and my siblings presents!

But as the two pretty sisters hugged me so tightly it reminded me of that maid who burst into tears when I hugged her with my unicorn horn active. So being the young man I was! I took charge like Dad taught me and I wrapped my totally big enough arms around the nice elves and I forced more holy light through my unicorn horn as I said encouraging. "It's ok! Because I, Aatrox Gremory am here!" I said as confidently as I could with my unicorn horn burning brightly from my forehead like a perfectly smooth cylinder of holy energy.

Fosa of House Eldrid had seen many things over her life of multiple millennia, she had seen her people fall into depravity and pay for that folly with the future of their race being left to the void. She had seen countless worlds left broken and even the shattering of her people's last true bastions when the Great Enemy or That Which Hunger's overwhelmed one of her kin's Craftworld.

She was a woman who had delved deep into the path system to keep her emotions in check, as she above most of her kin was very much in tune with her own soul more than the others except for the Far-Seers, though she was considering the offer of such training in truth when it was made.

But holding this, child, she could feel the fingers of She who thirsts that hovered over her soul... Disappear.

Not pushed away or otherwise rebuffed, but the chains that she bore upon her soul as property of Slaanesh after death, were gone. Burned away under the gentle holy light that was so similar to the Mon-Kheigh's Anathama Emperor's light.

But this child's holy light healed, it did not burn with the hate of a thousand Pyskers being sacrificed along with the corpse Emperor's own power. But instead, it smothered and disintegrated evil with its overwhelming purity.

And she could feel her fellow Aspect Warrior also stiffen as the child brought her into the hug. For a moment she idly thought that the child was a new horror of a god born of some far-off folly her kin haven't yet learned. As none but a god should be able to burn away the grasp of the Prince of Excess's desire for their souls.

Then the hug ended, and his wraith bone horn lost its glow, which she thought was merely a decoration as young boys want to do something as silly as gluing a horn onto their heads. But with the dying light of the boy's horn, she felt cold.

She felt the coldness of the Great Ocean and knew that naught but her own kind would provide any warmth within its chaotic tides. For a split moment, she wanted to blurt out to the child to continue to create the light.

But she held in the desire even as her blond friend Gilrosa let out a whimper of loss at the feeling making the child laugh out mischievously. And as the boy broke free out of their grasp and onto the ground, she realized she needed to take the boy to the Farseer council to have him looked at by Eldrad Ulthran. Only he could see the fate of the boy and figure out what must be done with him.

So Fosa took a breath and as the child looked up at her with his admittedly adorable ruby-red eyes that matched his crimson hair, Fosa spoke gently. "I know someone who has a secret power, he is Eldrad Ulthran, and he has the super ability to know what candy is going to taste the best... By seeing into the future!" Fosa said with some enthusiasm and she couldn't help a tinge of motherly pride welling up into her breast as the young boy named Aatrox grabbed her hand and her friends.

"Let's go then!" I demanded excitedly, I met fortune tellers with Dad and Mom before, but they always got into trouble as they would always go on about these weird cats called cougars always eating me or something... Which is totally crazy! As momma Ei hearing that killed all the cougars in the world to keep me safe!

But maybe this guy would actually be able to tell what would be my favorite candy... I couldn't help but giggle loudly with my horn winking with a strode light of holy light as I dreamed of what my favorite candy would be. Would it be an M&M's in ice cream? Reese's added to pancakes?

I couldn't help the manic giggle at the thought of the Perfect snack! To the point that I realized that I was accidentally using my magic to fly a bit off the ground using my unicorn's essence so my entire body had a thin golden glow covering me. But I didn't care, I wanted my desert and I these ladies needed to move quicker!

"Come on! We gotta go faster!" I demanded before realizing my momma's would get mad if I talked rudely like that so I took a deep breath, I called upon the superpower Dad helped me create with my unicorn bloodline. And I looked upon the pretty, big sisters with glistening eyes that well up with green and golden tears as I made a little... A little fib.

-

Fosa's eyes twitched as she saw the literal divine sign of how important this child was. As the tears that fell from his face at the overwhelming emotions he was experiencing, falling down his smooth skin and with a loud sound, the drops landed on the ground, and within but a moment. Beautiful, pure, and bearing the royal purple color that made her gasp as she felt the same feeling of purity from the flower as from the child...

And then she realized the truth... "You are the son of our goddess Isha!" She whispered with utter certainty and her own lesser tears came to her eyes at the realization of the great gift their goddess had given them.

Before the child could react she leaned down and picked him up with a fully bodied hug and then she didn't say anything to her friend as she was well aware she was always following with her as they ran to the end of the park and into their transport.

The greatest Farseer needed to see the gift and future hope of the Aeldari before anyone else could of this gift and possibly share the information to She who thirsts.
