Story 13 Paladin of Shadows Chapter 2

"Who are-" A feminine voice spoke out as I groaned under the pile of bodies that landed atop me and as I looked out from under the barely dressed in forms of the Shadow Garden member's I saw that my patron had decided to literally be direct as possible.

As he had literally teleported us into Freya's damned room!

I coughed and as the Shadow Garden girls elegantly rolled off of me besides Gamma who face-planted instead of getting to her feet, I sat up and looked at the goddess Freya who was looking at us all with a gob-smacked expression with a hint of fanatism entering her eyes as she looked at us.

'Oh dear, her soul thirstiness is acting up.' I thought wryly as I spoke out respectfully. "Lady goddess, my name is Jake Barris and I apologize for my allies and my myself landing in your abode but a powerful spirit-like entity said he was going to teleport us to Orario to make our adventures there."

Freya blinked losing her expression of desire as she put on a more natural smile as she spoke gently. "Ufufu, I see. A spirit could possibly teleport some people... But I am afraid this isn't quite Orario as instead your spirit friend probably tried to insert you into Orario but ran into Ouranous's barrier and your teleport diverted you to myself as we are rather close to Orario." She explained how the teleported 'failed.'

Freya who was sitting on the edge of her bed folded her legs over the other and I felt something tickling my mind as the pale legs rubbed against the others and I realized it was her Charm hitting my mind and all the Shadow Garden members grumbled under their breath except for Alpha who tensed as she clearly resisted the mental effect with great effort.

"Most... Most fascinating indeed, you are all but immune to my natural Charm young man." Freya whispered and I stood up to look down on the beautiful silver haired Norse goddess who all but licked her lips as she looked between myself and the members of Shadow Garden and then she clapped her hands together. "My name is Freya, I am a new goddess who has just descended down to the lower realm of Gekai... Your landing here within my room was obviously fate, so I am formally asking you to be the first members of my Familia!"

The Shadow Garden members looked at one another with Delta looking between me confused and Alpha with Alpha finally breaking her silence as she spoke up to everyone in the room. "We will follow our friend's choice." She finished with her eyes landing on me and out of everyone in Shadow Garden besides the cat girl Zeta, I was more worried about how Alpha was going to treat this how being bound to me aspect.

And with the blond beautiful elf's statement, the other six members of Shadow Garden in the Seven Shadows nodded in agreement with Delta being much more vocal as she said happily. "Yay, we are sticking with the boss!"

In turn, with all six of the obviously potent souls in front of her waiting on my decision, Freya's eyes landed on me with clear expectation in her eyes. And knowing it was basically a forgone conclusion at least for now. I took a breath and said firmly. "Then we will be in your care Lady Freya." 

A beaming smile hit me and I could all but see my vision pinken with no further effect as Freya's charm slammed into me like a truck with how happy she was and I realized how much of a joke it was to say gods were helpless in Gekai when in canon Freya could mind control all of Orario without actually using her divinity as this was just her passive divinity of beauty hitting our mortal souls.

"Very good Jake." She whispered with smoldering eyes before she calmed herself and said more evenly. "Then please take off your shirt so I may place your Falna upon your back. And could the rest of you please leave as the Falna laying process is rather important and private?" She asked the ladies.

But I got to see the surprised face of Freya as Alpha bluntly stated. "No, I shall stay with him."

And then Zeta with gritted teeth added. "Hmph, we rather you not keep our 'friend' alone for however long it takes for you to be satisfied." I however noticed the blond cat beast kin twinged her nose and my lips twitched thinking that Zeta could smell Freya's possible arousal, or it could have been something else.

But it was surprisingly Delta who had the real zinger. "Nope! No taking the boss away from us!" And Freya's face went from shocked to slight anger at being so refused, to amusement as it was clear that we had some level of closeness.

"Very well then." Freya demurred with a small smile as she looked to me and I just shrugged before I pulled off my shirt as I wondered if my cheat in being a warlock/paladin would show up in my Falna. "Come lay on my bed, face down please." Freya instructed as she elegantly got up from her bed and allowed me to lay down face first into her bed and my nose twitched as I caught the powerful yet comforting scent of Freya which seemed to consist of pine, and the ocean.

As I went to move my head to the side so I could look somewhat behind me I shook slightly feeling the weight of the goddess straddle my waist as she leaned forward and then I shuddered as a moment later I felt her divine ichor land upon my back.

Even getting my cheat shoved into my chest didn't feel as unsettling as I felt Freya's divine ichor scoring my soul and etching her divine energies onto my body, mind, and soul. Her divine blood acting as the ink as she painted, carved, wrote, and coded in a rudimentary system inside my body.

Which was such a powerful thing once you really thought about it.

"Haaa... Just as I expected with a beautiful soul like your own Jake Barriss. Coming to Gekai now rather than decades ago was truly a work of fate pushing you into my arms" She whispered huskily into my ears as I felt my cheat being prodded as Freya's legs around my waist as she sat atop my sides shiver in need.

"No humping the boss!" Delta cried out making me and Freya freeze with the goddess legs around my sides tightening.

But the goddess answered 'calmly' "Oh dear, I meant to do no such thing. I was just so excited to see the Captain of my Familia already has such a... Perfect skill." She finished almost losing her composure before she gently patted my back as she whispered. "I am done now Jake." 

And as I sat up Freya was sitting on the edge of the bed beside me and offering the paper with my translated Falna upon it which I obviously took and read with relish.

"Now the question is... What domain of mine do you contract with me, my cute little captain." Freya whispered as she began listing out her domains being magic, gold, warriors, love, beauty, and fertility.

And at her questioning musing I couldn't help cracking a joke. "Probably not fertility so I don't impregnate someone by hugging them."

The way Freya froze at my joke and looked at me with entirely too much intensity made me make an 'oh-oh' in my mind realizing I could possibly use the domain to impregnate 'Her!'
