Entry

I woke up, checked up on my realm and went downstairs. I ate, morning went like last two. This noon however would be different.

I wanted something that would hide my eyes well. They after all were purple and had unique pupils. So, I started to look for a mask. There were many stalls that sold masks, hats, and other clothes. I didn't see anything that I wanted. All the masks were either too bland or too decorated.

But there was one shop that looked interesting, it offered custom made masks. I walked up to the old lady.

-How much for a custom made.

- 1 gold

It was pretty expensive, most masks cost about 5 silver or less, but didn't matter to me. I wasn't that poor.

-I want that mask painted with a symbol.

-What kind.

I made my hand to model the symbol on my eyes.

-Alright

I had picked a purple, white mask with purple lines that went through eye holes. The paint didn't too long, I put it in my pocket. I had put my tech joggers on again but now I didn't have a jacket, I only had a long-sleeved white shirt and it had no decorations.

The mask now had my pupils' symbol in the middle, and it almost took the whole mask, but I still liked it.

I then continued to walk and soon got to the blacksmith. I walked inside and there the man was sitting behind the counter.

-You're finally here brat.

-Why are you calling me brat.

-Because you are as short as a brat.

I glared at him, but he didn't seem to mind.

-Your sword is here.

He handed me a beautiful black sheath that was made from the lizard's skin. I took the sword out and it was also beautiful. It was fully black but most impressive was its sharpness. I tested it on my hand it could slice my skin like butter when it was boosted my realm magic. This was a good sword.

-Good, I will see you in the future

The man smirked and responded.

-Yeah, yeah brat just go.

I left the store and started to walk towards the arena. It wasn't hard to spot after all, almost everyone was walking towards it. The arena was pretty far away, and I got there in 10 minutes. It wasn't in the city; it was outside the city and almost closer to the forest. But I still got there of course.

I walked up to the reception with my mask on and sword in my sheath.

-Are you here to register.

-Yes

-License

I gave him my temporary license.

-Seems fine, put your hand here.

There was some kind of ball with smoke inside of it, I put my hand on it and it started to change color but stopped at blue.

-Blue, everything is good, here take this and go,

I took a wooden button with a Z from her. After I had taken it, he burned my license, I would have wanted to still have it but It's probably a safety reason.

I walked inside there were doors with letters on them

A, F, K, W, Z and S

I looked at my wooden button and walked inside the Z door. There were a lot of people. All from different ages. I spotted an empty spot in the corner and went to sit down.

I didn't face any big problems while waiting and finally something happened, a door appeared. It was a magic door and it just teleported or came to the middle of the room.

Everyone glanced at each other and finally people started to walk inside, myself included.

When I finally got outside, I was now inside a huge arena. There were three door which I would assume were from other rooms. There were over 600 people there and it was pretty cramped. Then what I assumed was a host started speaking.

-Hello ladies and men and everyone from around the Clareprise

That was the continent's name.

-Today you have come here to watch the famous 1 vs 1 tournament where young adults and teenagers compete for different prices. But they don't even know them, should we tell them?

*YES

It was a loud agreement with the host.

-Okay, okay. Third place gets a S magic item and fifty gold coins. Second place gets S ranked weapon and seventy-five gold coins. Finally, the first place gets one hundred gold coins aaanddd, Full set of S rank armor that the winner can decide for themselves!

Everyone started clapping after the host had told the prices. They were indeed good, even if I had forty gold coins, 50 was still a lot. You could buy a house with it and still have some extra.

And S ranked items were very rare, only some blacksmiths could make them, and they needed items from Magenta ranked monsters. Most of them were found in dungeons but they were mostly kept by adventurers or actioned.

But that armor really sounded good, I didn't have one yet so it could be good. Other great price would be the S ranked item, I didn't have a magic ring yet with space magic and it could help me have more of the corpse's items.

The second place didn't matter to me that much, my sword was at least A rank maybe even peak A rank, so I didn't need a weapon right now.

When I was in the middle of thinking, the host started to speak again.

-As you can see, there is lot of challengers. And there were still three more doors meaning at least the same amount of people were waiting to get inside. So should we start our selection exam.

Crowd again was cheering for the host, then another guy appeared next to the flying host. Who I could now see, he was a blonde guy in his twenties. He had black jeans, a white suit jacket with a tie. The new guy next to him only wore a large black robe which covered his face.

He pointed his staff at us and started casting a spell, then something started to push me down, it was gravity. This guy's element was gravity. Gravity is a rare element and also incredibly powerful.

Some people were already laying on the ground, I boosted myself with magic to not fall down. After protecting myself with magic, it didn't feel that bad anymore. But some other guys were still falling down and passing out.

When there were only thirty of us remaining, the increased gravity stopped.

-Now this looks better, you may go back to your rooms.

We walked inside the rooms that we came from, there was a woman waiting for us. Now that you have survived the selection or elimination evaluate you have to tell us your name or what to call you.

All of us glanced at each other, and the woman started asking us for names. I didn't know what to pick, tell my own? Not a chance, I should think of something but didn't have anything.

-What about you?

-Me?

-Yes, who else, you're the last one.

-Okay, umming, it's Caleb.

-Okay, when I say your name, you need to step inside the door.

We all nodded and went back to sitting down and waiting for our names to be called, this would be interesting
