Class

The important guy's name is Ethan, good to know. It was getting annoyed to only talk about an important guy. He explained that every time, that new student come their skills get analyzed by the magic ball.

No one else knows the results expect for the ones that are inside the tent and see it. The colors go in this order: blue, the most common one, these people only have one ring and/or have just awakened. After that is green. These people usually also have only one ring but these people already have experience and can use some spells.

Then it's red. They can sometimes even have two rings and in theory can fight a monster. Black however is a whole different case. They can and will win against yellow ranked monsters and can already use magic like fourth year students. They are called geniuses here. At least ten come every year but most of them are royals with good training so they get it naturally. This was what he had already told me.

-You however are a commoner, so you do have experience and a master, I would believe.

I nodded.

-Yes, then every semester there is a dorm tournament. It's a team survival of five members in your dorm. The winner gets privileges in the school and even a monthly income. The whole dorm also gets money and little bit less privileges. So, I hope that you'll do great. We will continue to party, you can go sleep already or whatever.

-Who can see my badge? If I'm supposed to keep it as a secret, I wouldn't want to show it to just anyone.

-Oh yeah, I forgot. You need to show it only to your dorms disciplinary students, which you can recognize with this chain. No one else, well the principal too of course but that's rare. So even if another disciplinary student asks or a teacher you don't need to show it.

I nodded, I now didn't want to show it anyway, if everyone had even a little bit same kind of reaction. So I was glad to know that I didn't need to show it to anyone.

I thanked Ethan and went back to my room, Ben had also waked up, but had only been waiting for me. I explained him everything, so he also didn't tell anyone.

I went to sleep after that, Ethan had told me that tomorrow we would need to go to the grand hall to get our schedule and meet our homeroom teacher.

I slept well, the bed was comfortable and it didn't get too hot. I woke up to a sound of bells. I'm lucky that there's an alarm clock, otherwise I would have overslept. I put on my uniform and told Ben to follow me. I didn't get any information about our butlers or maids so I thought that I would find about it on the way.

The first floor was full of people, but when I walked in, they made way for me and watched me with admiring eyes. Their seniors probably also told them about the colors and the tournament. Well, if it meant, that I didn't have to wait, then it was fine.

I started to follow the other students. Everyone now also had the white suit and purple eye on their back. Along the way other people joined us from other dorms. They all had the same uniform but the symbol was different and sometimes in a different location, like on their shoulder or chest.

There was at least 700 hundred people walking, this was probably why the paths were so wide. Still, after a while we all arrived at a huge lecture hall. It was as big as a movie theater. We all walked where we wanted, I sat close to the other people in my dorm and Ben was next to me.

After a couple of minutes, when everyone were already sitting down, the lights went off. The light then lit up on the stage in front of us all and about thirty people walked in. And in the middle of them was the host of the 1 vs 1 tournament.

He took some kind of stick from one of the other people and started to speak into it.

-Hello, our new and old students, it is my pleasure to greet our brightest stars here and know that you will be doing great things in the future. I'll keep my speech short and now announce your homeroom teachers. They will hold one class every week at least and help you with your school life and tell about any coming events. Now then, in your badge will soon appear a name, look from the board behind me that teachers number and go to that classroom. Thank you, old students know what to do, bye.

I took my badge and it really now had a name on the right bottom, "Alice Perral". On the board there was a number 212. I had taken a mini map from the dorm and looked for it. It was actually close to the open hall that I saw the board yesterday in. I still had to ask Ethan one question.

-Ethan, what about my butler, what will he be doing?

-Oh, on the board there is the bottom room, that's where butlers and maids will spend time. -

-Thank you.

-I thought that you were a commoner, why do you have a butler?

-My master hired him to help with training.

-Oh okay, understandable. Well good luck!

I said bye to Ethan and Ben and went towards then classroom that I was assigned to. I got there fairly quickly, confirmed the number from the door and then walked inside. It didn't have that many people inside so I didn't pay any attention to them. I sat down on the second row near the window and waited.

Some time passed and now the classroom had like twenty students. No one talked except for four people who seemed to already know each other. Then the door opened and someone I didn't expect walked inside.

-Hello, my name is Alice Perral and I'm an A-rank adventurer. I'm a fire mage with four rings, however I like to work on the register and there my name is known as Charlotte.

She was the same tall red haired girl, when I first came to the guild! She still looked the same, no difference. Luckily, she didn't seem to recognize me. It was after all four years ago and I had grown taller than before but my facial structure was still kind of the same as before.

She then looked at me and seemed to try and remember who I was. Then she sighed in defeat, seemed like she didn't remember, lucky me.

-Here are your schedules.

She threw papers at us; it had my weeks classes but it seemed empty.

-It still looks empty because those are the mandatory classes, you need to today decide your other classes, which are on the other side of the paper. Now that my job is done, say your name, age and where you came from, starting with you.

She was pointing right at me, this was to help her remember who I was. I stood up and told my introductions.

-Hi, my name is Ayden, I'm seventeen and I come from Montka.

Based on the facial feature she was making; she didn't remember me. I made a small grin and sat back down. We went through everyone like that.

-Okay, okay, now get out, today is a rest day, do whatever you want.

I quickly stood up to not give her any ideas to know who I am. She didn't seem that smart so I didn't want her to tell everyone who I was and damage our advantage at the dorm tournament. I got out safely without having to stay behind or anything like that.

I had already explored yesterday, so I went back to my dorm and room. I did however feel weird while walking, like someone was behind me. I did look back but didn't see anybody. I shrugged my shoulders thinking that I was paranoid by master's prank, that she liked to often.

I got to my room, took off my jacket and fell on my bed to rest for a while. I spent the rest of the evening in my room, except taking a shower before going to sleep when it was the boys turn. It looked like any public shower; nothing was eye catching. I had to take my ring with me but luckily no one seemed to think that it was abnormal.

After the I got out of the shower and putting on clean normal clothes (we could wear anything we wanted in the dorms), I sat down behind the table and started to think about my schedule. My current schedule looked like this:

Each class and brake took two hours. I could pick thee things. One had to be a club activity and other two classes. The class possibilities were:

There were a lot and I got to only pick two, but those are only for the first years. It was possible to study six years and only three were mandatory. Your school year would end in a final test of magical usage. The two that you would pick now would probably be the subjects that you will study for the full time that you're here.

Now I had to decide two, you had to decide a full schedule for the first year, then it was freer to choose. I thought that what would be the most important ones or what I had not studied yet. And those were

The others didn't feel that useful for me. With these I wanted to pick artifacts one, that seemed the most interesting and useful out of them all. Second would be… Alchemy. I already have normal survival, so if it felt useful, I could pick it on my second year, I already have a good blacksmith to do my equipment and plant theory didn't seem that interesting.

I had to also pick a club, but that wasn't important now, I heard that they would do a tour about all the clubs on the weekend and then I could choose what I wanted. Weekends were for the clubs and weekdays for the classes.

There is also possibility for breakfast at 7am and snack at 9pm but those are not popular.

After figuring everything out I decided to go a sleep. Ben came back like an hour ago and they just teach etiquette and talking respectfully. Nothing interesting it seems.

I woke up to the same bell as yesterday, go up, went to the bathroom to wash my face, put on my uniform and head to class. I had magic theory first. I think that it's going to be super boring because of all the books that master made me read.

The first floor wasn't as full as yesterday and I had room to move without people making way for me. I already slept pretty well so maybe I could actually listen in class today and see what it was like.
