Adventure begin

-Ayden, put your clothes on and come to eat!

-Coming mom!

Today is my 13th birthday and time for me to go explore the outside world. I can do whatever I want for 5 years. However, I cannot visit my mom during that time, it's a rule that makes sure that the tribe members won't come home after failing once or twice. Of course, if you're dying or it is an emergency you can go home.

I don't have any big plans; I only want to visit some places but not anything bigger.

I hurried downstairs to eat for the last time with my mom. We will not be seeing each other for 5 years. It may not sound so long after all, I waited 6 years to leave but it can really feel like a long time, if you don't have anything to do or miss someone.

During my 13 years in this life what I have only spent with my mom alone, really made me attached to her. I don't even think of her only as a caretaker for my new body as I first thought. She's my mom. But I worry that she will become lonely. She has not met dad even once and probably needs some company. I hope she becomes happy.

I had put on a long-sleeved shirt, some kind of tech techwear joggers. They had a lot of pockets and they felt good. I got to eat breakfast. Mom had made extra big and delicious breakfast.

We ate in silence. I didn't know what to say, after all this was a big moment for me. I had trained my whole childhood for this. I got two rings on my core when most of my age didn't even have a core. I trained sword fighting, hand to hand combat and basic knife techniques.

I had a backpack with water, dried food, a map, compass and money. I found out that my mom gets food, clothes and other stuff by exchanging her hand made vases and other handcrafts with a merchant that came here once a month. I have not seem them but it doesn't matter.

I got up from the table and headed towards living room. Put on a jacket, it was a very thin but still warming enough, it had pockets inside and couple outside the jacket. It had a hoodie that fully covered my face. After that I put on my backpack with necessary equipment, a basic knife that can be used for almost anything in my pants and put my sword to the side of my backpack. It was like a straight katana, it didn't have anything different from other swords, that's because I'm supposed to get a custom-made sword when I get to the city. That's why I have to hunt strong monster to get good material.

I had my backpack, good clothes, weapons, food and water. Shoes were some kind of boots but used like sneakers. They were black, nothing interesting about them.

Mom wanted me to get everything by myself and not get me anything too fancy, except for one thing. A ring, this ring could change my hair color. I put on the ring, and it changed my hair color to black. I put gloves over the ring, they fully covered my hands but were thin enough to not make anything I do harder.

I was now ready to explore. I looked over to mom, she was waving at me. I rushed towards her, gave her a big hug.

-I love you mom.

I let go looked at her, she now looked like she was about to cry, I turned my back on her and went outside. It was early morning, around 5am. I started running. I ran and ran down the path that was in front of me.

After a while I slowed down, there began two paths in front of me. I took my map from the backpack and looked for where I was. I quickly found my location on the map and then looked at where the two paths led. One was for a small village in south, other was towards south-east and a lot bigger city.

South village was known for its culture and crafts. It was a village of craftsmen and their fans.

Other one was closer to this continents capital and known for its adventurers'. It was also known as Montka village of adventurers.

I went with the one that led to a bigger city. It was more far away but it was a rather good thing. It went through the middle of the forest and there I could find many strong monsters. After nodding satisfied of my plan, I started running down the path.

After running for like an hour I heard something, I quickly stopped, took my sword and got ready to a fight. I started to gather mana and got to my stance. I didn't want to copy my mom's stance and style, so I modified it a little for myself.

I had two parts and each part had about four techniques. This was my first part's stance. I started to listen carefully and look for the monster or whatever it was that did those noises.

I stood there silently; I didn't hear anything for a while. But then the monster moved. I located and jumped towards it; I knew it wasn't high ranked so I didn't even need to use my thunder magic for this one. After all realm magic had passively increased my physical and magical abilities.

I had not gotten anything else from it. I read somewhere that everyone can obtain something unique for them from their main magic, but it was rare. After leaping towards the nearby bush, I noticed the monster. It was a goblin. I got scared for nothing it was only a yellow rank monster. I beheaded it swiftly with the speed of my jump.

I hope everything will not be so easy.
