Chapter 5

- What do we do? They're almost here.

- Maybe they're not coming here Jim. Maybe… they just want to jump on the river.

- Willie… I don't think they look like swimming.

The animals walked UN territory now. They orderly stood in place as they came, amassing at the front door until the last one of them joined. A silent army lined up in perfect rows -- there was no one in the UN offices, nor in surrounding New York, who did not stand up and come to the window.

Already, reporters did their job, but they could feel this was not anything good. They filmed from afar, from balconies and helicopters. They saw clearly once the group broke into two sides and, in the center, the only human walking along the beasts stood in the center now.

Then, the close-up. It was a shy woman in her forties, her head bowed down as if deeply embarrassed. The animals seemed to love her, as she walked tenderly holding hands with two chimpanzees to the UN's front door.

The hall was full of terrified people, one of which was either pushed or tripped forward in terror. Terrified, she slowly raises her head and now faces the human among the beasts.

The woman speaks calmly. Decisively.

- Bring us your Secretary General. We wish to talk to him. Now.
