Chen Zhong, seething with hatred, stood up to leave the hall.

"Seventh Brother, where are you going?" the elderly man, Chen Banshu, called out, blocking his way.

"My father was murdered. I cannot sit still. I must find the 'yellow sparrow' and avenge my father!" Chen Zhong said resolutely.

"Seventh Brother, with our family already losing four second-tier masters, only three of us are left. Without the head of the family, we must stay to guard the household. If you leave and enemies attack, we will be doomed," Chen Banshu cautioned. "The head of the family has gone to capture Su Dingfeng and will return soon. Please, prioritize the bigger picture."

Just then, outside the ancestral hall, a ghostly figure lit a firestarter and threw a burning cloth bundle into the hall.

"Who is it!" Chen Banshu and Chen Zhong drew their swords, alert.

The young mourners also drew their swords, tense.

Chen Zhong and the young mourners also collapsed, horrified.

"Brother, where's the enemy?" A lean, elderly man rushed over, sword in hand, halting when he saw Chen Banshu lying at the door.

Chen Bowen, having gone to relieve himself, hurried back.

Suddenly, another fire-emitting bundle flew toward him.

Chen Bowen dodged, only to see another bundle land nearby, sparking.

"Who dares to play tricks! Show yourself!" Chen Bowen demanded, only to feel his energy wane and collapse.

A sallow-faced old man emerged, picked up Chen Zhong's sword, and swiftly beheaded him, followed by Chen Banshu and the mourners.

"Yellow... Sparrow!" Chen Bowen realized in terror before being decapitated by Qin Wang.

Meanwhile, the commotion awakened the rest of the Chen family, who rushed to the ancestral hall.

Qin Wang ignited the hall, throwing five more packets of Beisu Dispersing Incense and the bodies into the flames before heading to the back courtyard.

As the hall blazed, Qin Wang knew the incense's range would soon incapacitate anyone who approached. He planned to rescue his sister Qin Xuemei first before returning to finish off the Chen family.

In the back courtyard, near Madam Chen's quarters, a secluded courtyard stood, its gates locked. Qin Wang kicked open the gate, collapsing the wall.

"Here it is," he muttered, heading to the left room, breaking down the door.

"Who are you?" Two young women, startled, sat up in bed.

Qin Wang recognized his sister, Qin Xuemei, but kept his identity hidden. "You're all too scrawny, no fun! The Chen family is dead; run while you can!" he rasped.

Grateful, Qin Xuemei and her companion hurriedly thanked him and fled.

Qin Wang released two more girls, using the same disguise, before setting an ambush.

With the Chen family in disarray and the sisters freed, Qin Wang prepared for the final strike against the remaining family members.
