At the arena

"Hello, Seraphina," Yuna said and Myalis smiled at her.

"Hello, Yuna, so, where are we going?" Myalis asked and Yuna chuckled, then patted her on the shoulder.

"You will see soon enough, you really want to know though, don't worry, it's not any sort of party if that's what you are wondering about," Yuna responded.

"If you say so," Myalis said.

"Seraphina," Calris called out as he approached her and she looked at him.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"I want you guys to be careful, things are not as they used to be," He responded and her eyes narrowed then she patted him on the shoulder.

He looked at Myalis and she smiled at him, which assured him that Myalis would heed his warning and placed him at ease.

"Do you want to go with Aster?" Myalis asked and a nervous smile appeared on Yuna's face, Myalis chuckled and then summoned Aster.

He appeared in front of her and roared due to which Yuna was about to move, Myalis grabbed onto her hand and the girl flinched before looking at her.

Myalis placed her left palm against his head and he closed his eyes, then reopened them before lifting his right leg up and Myalis looked at Yuna then climbed onto Aster.

"Come on, he won't harm you," Myalis said then the girl grabbed her hand and climbed onto Aster then placed her hand on Myalis's shoulder.

Myalis chuckled, then tapped Aster on his back, prompting him to fly and he took out his wings and flew off.

"Wow," Yuna said as she looked down at the water as they flew over the bridge to enter the city.

"So, where do you want us to stop, Yuna?" Myalis asked.

"By the arena, the large circular building by the waterside," She responded and Myalis glanced at her.

The arena was large and held many events, but at the time, there was another occupation at hand, another event that people paid to see, and because of that the arena was packed every few nights.

Myalis looked at how many people were entering the arena and how busy the streets were within the city as they landed before the arena, then got off of Aster and he vanished.

"Come on, I got us tickets," Yuna said as she approached the ticket booth and handed the ticket to the clerk, who collected them before they entered the arena.

"Wow!" Myalis exclaimed as she noticed how many people were present.

At the center of the arena, there were three stages with water surrounding them, and she saw two teams, each with three members, fighting on the largest stage, which was directly in the center.

"This is how many young people make money these days, there are three different colored lines on the stages, if your opponent pushes you back and you touch the next line, it buzzes, you have to stay there and fight, the only way to get back to where you were is to hit an opponent out of the match or push an opponent back, if you pass the third line that makes things worse for you and if get a knockout, you are out, you cannot continue fighting, got it?" Yuna inquired as they took a seat in the crowd.

"Yeah, I understand, this is interesting," She replied and Yuna chuckled.

"Thank you, Yuna," She said and the girl glanced at her and then smiled.

"You are welcome, I am glad you came with me, Seraphina," She replied and Myalis smiled as they looked at the fight and listened to the referee who was in his booth talking on the microphone.

Myalis's eyes narrowed as she watched the match and noticed that one of the red team members did not cross the line due to the opponent's attack, but just barely touched the next line by mistake and got knocked out.

"That's cheating," She said and Yuna nodded.

"Yeah, the blue team cheated, must have paid the referee, nothing can be done, the one from the red team just stepped back and the second round had just begun, that knock out was not fair the bell rang just after the opponent knocked him," Yuna responded, and Myalis gnashed her teeth and Yuna patted her on the shoulder.

"You enjoy fighting, don't you?" Yuna inquired.

"Yeah, I have since I was a little girl," She replied.

"I could tell," Yuna said, and Myalis chuckled.

"Seraphina, let's get to know each other, we go to the same academy, and we all want to get stronger," Yuna added, and Myalis glanced at her as she watched the teams fight.

"That sounds good to me," Myalis said, and Yuna smiled before continuing to watch the match which soon began irritating Myalis due to the cheating.

After a while, the match finally ended and the blue team that cheated won, Myalis didn't like that a bit but despite that she had fun.

Yuna exhaled deeply before sniffing in the fresh air as they exited the building, and she smiled brightly when she noticed a guy selling ice cream by the waterside.

"Would you like ice cream, Yuna?" Myalis asked, and the girl nodded.

"All right, come on, I will treat you," She said as they approached the stand, the guy greeted them then they did the same.

"Choose any flavor and I'll pay for it," Myalis said, and they both ordered their ice cream, when they got it, they stood by a rail near the waterside which was there to keep people from going near the river and they looked at the island where Myalis was staying, which wasn't far from where they were, and began eating.

"Can you tell me your story, Yuna?" Myalis inquired.

"A rich girl whose family expects great things from her, a girl who wants to succeed in the family business, a girl who wants to get stronger, that basically sums it up, and I am not from around here either," She replied, and Myalis scoffed.

"I see, well, you didn't seem to be from around here in the first place, and I know a little about family expectations, which can be difficult at times, right?" She asked and the girl nodded when they heard a loud roar and the sound of crashes.
