Memories in the Genes

Merlyn-: who do you think you are except the useless kid that could do nothing.

Rin-: I am your father, you old ass how dare you call me useless. Your life span is already too short don't try to make it more by provoking me.

They were so loud that the three of them could clearly hear their arguments.

Mariko sighs and says "and here I thought that Merlyn sensei had solved the problem.

Kagami-: that I why I am the principal now. He had already aged so much, he can no more do things wisely as the famous Merlyn, The Father Of Magic once used to do long before this academy established.

Mariko-: by the way how old is he?

Kagami-: no one knows, I got to hear from somewhere that he is living over 1000 years.

Back in the room Merlyn explained everything to Rin that happened earlier in the ground, he was beginning to believe that all of them were the real person but didn't understand the part which he experienced in Everlost palace.

Rin-: there's no way all if that was just a dream, it was not a slight bit less than reality. I still remember every bit of it crystal clear.

Merlyn sat beside him and used a healing techniques that calms people minds. He patted on Rin's back to make him feel comfortable, to make him feel that no need to worry you are home.

Merlyn-: Now, if you don't mind you can share it with me. What is the last thing you remember doing here?

Rin-: I was being trained by Kagami sensei and then I passed out when he synced his chakra with me, then somehow I was in Orcus's castle, I was able to pass through everything and no one was able to see me except Orcus found me and choked me until I passed out again and the next thing I knew I was here in this room.

Merlyn mouth was wide opened like a male bonobos monkey he replied in a shocking expression

"That was a hell of a story"

Rin-: That is not a story.

Merlyn -: I have heard of legends that says when people are able to reach the deepest parts of their mind where the chakra flow is highly concentrated in its pure form, they somehow become able to control their body cells and manage to recover their memories stored in their genes.

Rin-: Awesome!!

Merlyn-: That's not all, some great magicians of the history were able to retrace the path of memories and travel to places which there great great grandparents had once visit.

Rin-: Are these legends all true, you sure this are nothing more than rumors?

Merlyn replied furiously "no all of it is completely true"

Merlyn-: I know a person who used to tell stories about his friend who was able to see such memories which he never had lived. All of them were related to his parents and grandparents, soon he realized that it was not a dream, those were the memory fragments of the past lives of his family that was stored in the genes that ran in his blood.

Rin was very thrilled hearing his story, he asked Merlyn eagerly.

"Are you saying that I have those legendary capabilities in me"

Merlyn replied with contempt "huh? Who said a brat like you had such powers?

Rin-: but you said this is the sign that shows that I have the ability to access my genes.

Merlyn-: yes I said but that needs a lot of training and concentrate to awaken those abilities while you a mere brat who haven't even learn to use mana, who only makes things worse for everyone is not capable of getting those abilities.

Rin-: then do you have any other explanation for these? Huh jealous old man.

Merlyn-: ummmm...….

Rest of the three enters the room.

Sebas-: Master Rin, we heard all of your discussion and we finally reached at a conclusions. Kagami san will explain you.

Kagami-: This is the theory we deduced, the demon's blood which runs through Rin tremendously increased his powers when it was synced with mine and triggered his subconscious mind which created a portal that transferred his mind to the location which was retraced by his genes.

Rin-: gosh!! why everything in my life need to be so complicated? Simply said this all was a dream, right?

kagami-: no, it was as real as it is now. if you die there you also die here, no body can remain alive without its soul.

It was getting more and more complicated, he guts said him to leave at once. It was going beyond his limits of understanding.

Everybody looked at him hoping he understood and were waiting for his reply but in reality all of this was out of his reach. He stood up and went for the door.

Mariko-: where are you going? Your check up is not finished yet.

Rin-: I need to get some fresh air, any more of this and I will admit myself in a psycho hospital.

Saying this he left the room. Mariko sensei was worried about his health and tried to stop him.

"mateyo (wait..) rin kun "

Merlyn-: let him be, he is just a kid. They need some time alone.

Rin climbed up the stairs, little by little until the stairs finished at the top floor. he had never been to this part of the building. It was completely empty covered in dust and spider webs, It looked like no had been here in ages.

At the end of the floor's veranda, there was a balcony with flowers he had never seen in his entire life. Small, beautiful flowers with a sweet fragrance that could calm even the heart of a mighty raging beast. A mixture of warm and cold air blew over the place which was very soothing.

He could see the whole training ground and the vast area filled with trees and various kind of animals which surrounded the academy.

Rin sat on a table resting his head over the bar of the balcony enjoying the beauty of the nature. The touch of the mother nature was warm like a mother's love, embracing him within her arm.
