Last Goodbye

Rin was sitting on a wooden chair at the balcony, looking towards the beautiful flower garden. The flowers looked full of joy and refreshment but rin sat there looking depressed.

Sebas entered the room, to tell him that they were going to arcadia for his lessons but when he saw rin looking dull, he knew that rin's mind was suffering from many things that he was never prepared for.

Sebas : what's the matter, master rin. What is that thing which is eating you away from inside.

Rin : Sebas it's just that ... it 's just not easy to accept all the things that had happened lately. Dad and roy both knew the truth behind the box because of which they tried to protect it. I had never seen magic before this in my life. I don't know why they were hiding all of this from me but still I won't let them stay in prison any longer.

Sebas : don't worry master, I will help you all I could to get them back .

Rin : I trust you, sebas . I think it's you and the maids are the only persons left in my life on whom I can count when I'm in problem.

Rin took out a paper from his right pocket of his shirt. You see this note, sebas. My mother wrote it, in my whole life until now I didn't knew a thing about my mother and now when I have the chance to open it and read, the only thing I received from my mother ...… I don't know why but I can't get myself to read this letter. I fear that the image of my mom that I had been making this whole time will not remain same. The only memory I have of my mother is dad and roy talking about her that how kind, lovely and overprotective she was and I don't want to change all the sweet memories I have of her.

Sebas : you don't need to, master. Open it only when you feel like it.

Claire knocks on the door to ask if rin was ready to leave for arcadia.

" come in "

Claire : it's time sir. You must leave now as the head is very strict on punctuality.

Rin : whose head are you talking about.

"are there separate names for head and body in this demon world"

Claire : by head I didn't mean someone head rather I meant about the head of arcadia academy, professor kagami.

Rin : what does it matter, how the head professor is.

Sebas : I apologize master to do this on a short notice. There is one bad news and one good news, which one do you prefer to hear first?

Rin : lately ,everything happened in my life doesn't seem good to me. I am tired of hearing bad news, say the good one please . Try not to say the bad one if not needed.

Sebas : fine then , the good news is that we are going to Arcadia today and now. You will get to learn to use skills and magic soon enough and the bad news is that, your nice and easy days ends here. From now on you are going to work hard like hell.

Rin : funny isn't it, that I'm already in hell.

The three of them left the room, they were again standing in the hall. All of the maids stood there to say goodbye. Rin didn't want to leave this place, his heart was resisting him from leaving this heaven which was residing in hell

It was his dream of having many beautiful maids working for him and now he had to leave his dream behind with an old man taking all the fun.

Rin thinking in his mind (oh, god...… it's not fair to give all enjoyment to that old man while punishing me with a legacy to fight the demon)

Sebas took out a remote like thing from his coat pocket, handed it over to rin.

Rin : what's this? A tv remote.

Sebas : no master, it's a magical remote. It was made by a famous magician who wielded a magical game console. He took the magic of RPG to a whole different level.

Rin : who was that person?

Sebas : he is one of the best magician in the world, his name is RAYLEIGH.

Rin looks at that remote with curious eyes. it was the first magic item he had ever seen. He asked sebas the details of that item.

Rin : tell me what does this remote do. Will it take me to a gaming world?

Sebas : no master rin, it is used for teleportation. It has a lifetime of 7. It means you could use it seven times at most. It's quite simple to use, you just have to say the name of the place you want to go and then press the button on the remote. Now master rin, why don't you try it.

Rin : I was going to do that even if you hadn't asked.

Rin called out the name loudly "ACADEMY OF SORCERY, ARCADIA" and pressed the switch on the remote. It was little different than the last time, instead of being surrounded by white, for a moment he was in a place with rainbow, beautiful waterfall and flowers, in short it looked like a dream world. Sebas snapped his finger, the gate opened automatically with a creaking noise.

Without giving a second thought, they entered into Arcadia through the large enormous gate.
