chapter 4 Two large statues in the Battle Mages Alliance

As soon as Veer enters the Magician and Warrior Union, he is struck by the grandeur of the place. The walls are adorned with magical symbols and weapons of all kinds are on display. Veer can see many people inside, some of whom are practicing their magic while others are sparring with weapons. He is amazed by the energy and power that he can feel in the atmosphere of the place.

Wow, this place is beautiful, Veer exclaims.

In the center of the hall, there are two large statues, one of a magician holding a wand in one hand and pointing towards the sky with the other hand.

The other statue is of a warrior holding a spear in both hands with the tip pointing towards the sky. These statues symbolize the relationship between warriors and magicians.

Lost in thought, Veer walks towards the reception area.

Hello, sir. How may I assist you? the receptionist asks Veer.

"Hello, can I book a private test room?" Veer asks the receptionist.

"Sure, sir. Which one would you like to book?" the receptionist inquires.

"I want the one with the lowest cost," Veer replies.

The receptionist exhibited a momentary surprise at Veer's response, but quickly composed herself and handed him a key along with the room number 365. She proceeded to explain, "Here is your key and your assigned room number. Upon entering the room, you'll find two distinct sets of equipment. One allows you to assess and awaken your internal energy, while the other is a globe for determining your elemental affinity and magical potential. The cost for using this room is 50 star dollars per session and One session will be of one hour, and please remember to return the key before your departure."

Veer expressed his gratitude to the receptionist and proceeded towards the private test room. As he made his way, he couldn't help but wonder, "The receptionist mentioned that the room was on the third floor, so why am I having trouble locating it?"

"I have passed the test and am now officially a magician! Yahoo!"

As Veer was contemplating his situation, a boy emerged from a nearby room where he had just taken a test. The boy was five steps ahead of Veer and began shouting in joy as he came out of the room, thrilled to have passed the test.

Veer had an idea and thought to himself, "Since that boy has just passed the test, maybe he can help me find my test room."

Approaching the boy, Veer introduced himself and said, "Hello, my name is Veer, and I am here to take a test today. Can you please tell me where my test room is located?"

The boy was startled when someone called out to him from behind. He turned around to see an 18-year-old boy with black hair and blue eyes, dressed in old clothes, standing just five steps away from him.

Looking down at Veer, the older boy confirmed that he too was there to take the test. Veer then asked the boy, "Can you please tell me the address of my test room?"

"Sure, I can help you. Just tell me your room number," the boy replied to Veer's request for directions.

"My room number is 365, which I think should be on this floor," Veer informed the boy.

"Your room is on this floor. Just go straight from here and your room will be on the right-hand side," the boy directed Veer.

"Thank you so much, my friend," Veer said gratefully to the boy.

"No problem, it's a small thing," the boy replied kindly.

Suddenly, Veer remembered something and asked the boy, "You just passed the test and became a magician, which element did you awaken?"

"I awakened the water element," the boy replied to Veer's question.

"Congratulations, my friend! You're quite the water magician," Veer exclaimed with admiration.

After bidding farewell to the boy, Veer said goodbye and headed towards his test room.

As Veer left, the boy, who introduced himself as Abhimanyu, also began to leave. Suddenly, someone called out to him.

"Abhimanyu, do you know that boy?" a girl's voice asked.

Abhimanyu turned towards the voice and replied, "No, I don't know him. He just asked me for directions to his test room. By the way, what are you doing here, Ruhi? Aren't you here to take the test too?"

"Yes, I was just leaving when I saw you talking to that boy," Ruhi replied to Abhimanyu.

Abhimanyu then asked Ruhi, "Did you pass the test?"

"Yes, I did, and I awakened the water element," Abhimanyu replied. "Now it's your turn to take the test."

"I am going for it now," Ruhi said to Abhimanyu as she began to leave.

Both of them continued their conversation while walking.

As Veer approached the door of his test room, he muttered to himself, "So this is my test room."

He noticed that the number 365 was written on the door of the room.

Veer inserted the room key into the slot near the door of his test room. The key activated the mechanism, which opened the door to Veer's test room.

As soon as the door opened, Veer walked into the room, and the door closed automatically behind him. He noticed a screen near the door that started a countdown as soon as he entered.

In a hurry, Veer began to look around the room.

Upon entering the room, Veer is met with a sight of two distinct sets of equipment, each adorned with explicit instructions. One bears the label "Magic Element Awakening," while the other is designated as "Warriors Awakening."

Intrigued, Veer begins his exploration, first approaching the Warrior Test Equipment. Here, a myriad of test tubes and apparatuses capture his attention. Among them, a machine stands out, seemingly designed to assess the internal strength of an individual through their blood. Veer comprehends that if one's internal strength registers at 1.0, they qualify as a warrior. However, should this measure fall below 1.0, even a marginal difference of 0.1 holds significant weight, rendering the individual ineligible for the esteemed warrior status.

Having observed the intricacies of the warrior assessment, Veer shifts his focus to the adjacent Magician Element Test. The proximity of these two test setups, separated by a mere meter, signifies their distinct purposes and the profound choices each candidate must make. The air in the room buzzes with the anticipation of the forthcoming awakening ceremony, where destinies will be unveiled based on the outcomes of these meticulous tests.

He decided to head towards the Magician Test equipment as he aspired to become a magician rather than a warrior.

On reaching the Magician Test equipment, Veer noticed a single ball levitating in the air.

Wow, is this a magic ball, what element do people have and what a magician they have become, it is to be seen. Veer thinks in his mind.

"Veer marvels at the magic ball, wondering what element he will awaken and what kind of magician he will become."

When Veer looks at the ball, his attention is drawn towards a notice board floating in the air beside it. The notice board states that in order to take the magic test, one must first choose the magic ball, then close their eyes and concentrate on the ball. After this, the color of their magic will be revealed.If the color on the magic ball is red, it indicates the awakening of the element of fire; green represents air; brown represents earth; white represents water; and blue represents thunder.
