32 Wood Spirit World

After saying goodbye to Li Chen, Ye Fan made his way back to his room. The door slid open with a soft hiss as he entered, the familiar surroundings providing a sense of comfort.

"These seeds really cost most of my points, Alas I can't help but buy them now for tomorrow's mission. I can just use seeds of Thorny instead of buying new but, it's a waste of time to engrave and I'm already low on vitality. For 10 seeds it might at least need 500 points of vitality to use them during the fight." he placed the seeds on a small table in the center of the room, arranging them carefully.

Meticulously organizing the 10 Iron-spine Defender seeds, Ye Fan remarked, "I must admit, these 10 seeds are truly exceptional. Infused by bronze-level spiritual planters, they possess the potential to mature into bronze-level plants once I provide the necessary spiritual power."

"Even though these seeds are typically considered disposable, but with the infusion of vitality, the plants can be permanently cured." It's a recent discovery Ye fan made, in the realm of spiritual planters, the conventional method involved using the Rapid Growth skill to infuse seeds or spiritual plants with spiritual power. This process had two different applications—temporary enhancement and permanent curing.

Temporary curing involves rapidly accelerating the growth of spiritual plants or seeds, enabling them to be utilized in combat. However, a significant drawback is that after two hours, the plants will wither without a continuous supply of spiritual power.

In contrast, permanent curing facilitates the rapid growth of plants but at a higher cost, consuming ten times the amount of spiritual power. The advantage is that the plants can thrive independently without the need for a constant infusion of spiritual power.

"Maybe it's because the vitality is highly concentrated, or perhaps it's compatible with plants. With the same amount of spiritual power needed for temporary growth. I'm able to grow them permanently." Ye Fan thought, contemplating the unique properties of vitality he found this while experimenting with Titan Wood Seeds when he made the Groot's.

After a thorough inspection of the Groot's and other plants in the room, Ye Fan decided to call it a day. The evening had extended into the night, especially after the dinner he had with Li Chen while they were outside. His thoughts were now focused on the upcoming mission, one that is a more combat-oriented challenge compared to the previous mission. The room's soft lighting provided a serene ambiance as he prepared to get some rest.

The tranquility of his sleep was abruptly shattered by an unusual sensation, jolting Ye Fan awake. As he opened his eyes, expecting to find the familiar surroundings of his room, he was met with a disorienting sight—a vast expanse of emptiness stretched out before him.

Ye Fan sat up, his gaze darting around in an attempt to make sense of the surrounding environment. There is no air around him, but thousands of small lights floating as they seemed to shimmer with an ethereal glow, casting a soft, otherworldly light over the surroundings.

When he looked down at his hands, a sense of wonder and confusion washed over him. His hands, usually solid and tangible, now appeared as if crafted from a hazy, light-blue cloud-like substance not just hands it extended to his entire body.

"What... is happening?" Ye Fan muttered to himself, his voice carrying a blend of awe and uncertainty. He tentatively reached out, running his transformed fingers through the nebulous surroundings. The texture was unlike anything he had ever felt before, a sensation that seemed to blur the lines between tangible and intangible.

As Ye Fan explored, the lights around him responded to his touch, shimmering in vibrant patterns as if echoing the pulse of his own energy. He couldn't shake the feeling that he was no longer confined to the physical constraints of his usual existence.

"Is this a dream? Or wait, is it my spiritual realm?" he wondered aloud, the hazy quality of his voice resonating in the emptiness around him. "Isn't it said that Spiritual Masters will unlock their spiritual realm once they upgrade to Silver Level, but why am I able to do it with my current Black Iron level?"

Typically, spiritual masters unlock their spiritual realms upon reaching the silver level, while some exceptionally talented individuals may awaken this ability at the peak of the bronze level. The spiritual realm is a space where consciousness resides, and unlike ordinary individuals, spiritual masters with formidable mental strength can access and utilize their spiritual realms. This space serves as a reservoir for storing spiritual power or other elemental energies.

"So, are these blue and green lights representing Spiritual Power and Vitality?" Ye Fan pondered as he observed the thousands of small lights wandering around. He found himself able to control these lights effortlessly, experiencing a profound and ethereal connection with them.

As he moved further, the lights began to coalesce, forming intricate patterns and symbols that hung in the air. "Could these symbols represent my skills, my abilities?" he pondered, reaching out to touch one of the luminous symbols. The moment his hand made contact; a surge of understanding flooded his senses. The symbol depicted his Plant Transformation skill, its essence unfolding in a silent display of vibrant energy.

As he delved deeper, more symbols emerged, "Rapid Growth, Seed Collection, Plant Enhancement... they're all here," he observed, recognizing the visual manifestations of the skills he had honed in the physical world. There is even a pattern that connects him and the Mind Shadow parasite, but it is currently dim.

In the midst of this, a peculiar symbol caught his attention. It glowed with an intensity that set it apart from the others, blinking on and off as if calling him. "Groot? Is that the symbol for my Titan Wood Sprouts?" he wondered. The symbol seemed to pulsate with vitality, echoing like calling.

Ye Fan extended his hand toward the symbol, and as he made contact, he felt a surge of connection with the essence of his Titan Wood Sprouts. "Incredible... it's like I can commune with them on a deeper level here," he exclaimed, a sense of newfound understanding blossoming within him. But it's not over there yet a sudden suction came from the symbol pulling his consciousness inside.

Then, he found himself in a vast expanse of a world with green plants around. However, they were all ethereal, as if they were simultaneously real and not real. When he looked at himself, he realized he had become Groot 1, experiencing the world from inside the plant's body.

As Groot 1, Ye Fan marveled at the unique perspective he now possessed. He could feel the essence of the spiritual power and vitality that flowed through him, connecting to the collective consciousness of this world around him.

"This must be the shared consciousness mentioned in the skills," he realized, a sense of satisfaction filling him. However, his contemplation was interrupted by the sudden appearance of a figure in front of him as if he was already there but just arrived or moving very fast before his eyes could observe.

The mysterious figure before Ye Fan is a woman with striking red hair and a pair of elegant horns. She stood amidst a lush forest, her beauty captivating. Adorned with a green leafy headband, she exuded an ethereal charm that harmonized with the natural surroundings without further thinking he used the Spiritual Eye at first sight.

"Forest Spirit?" Ye Fan couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity and awe as he gazed upon the Forest Spirit in front. The lack of detailed information apart from her race, like her level and skills remained shrouded in mystery.

"Hey, new wood spirit? What's your name?" Her words resonated not as audible sound but as if directly transmitted to Ye Fan's consciousness.

Ye Fan, or rather Groot 1 in this ethereal realm, felt a surge of curiosity and a strange connection with the forest spirit before him. "I am Groot," he responded.

The Forest Spirit chuckled, her laughter harmonizing with the rustling leaves in the ethereal forest. "Groot, a fitting name for a wood spirit. I am Lingxi, the Forest Spirit. Let me take you to the village." Lingxi's invitation resonated with him, and with a nod, Ye Fan agreed to follow her to the village.

As Lingxi led the way through the vibrant ethereal forest, Ye Fan marveled at the other spirits that roamed freely. Each spirit possessed a unique appearance, some resembling animals while others took human forms. Lingxi explained that the village was a gathering place for various wood spirits.
