5 CHAPTER 5: Futian's Martial Soul

" You see! Now pay up!" the fatty said with a look of heroism.

" Who said that you passed? The elder there just shook his head and said nothing else. So how did you pass. Pay up! I corrected you twice." the slim guy said with a glum expression.

" That's true." Pulling out two gold coins from his pocket. The fatty presented them to the slim guy before turning to Elder Lu.

" " Elder Lu.

" So Mr.Elder you made me lose two gold coins unfaithfully. How do you plan to compensate me?"

" " Elder Lu.

Compensate you my head!

Is there anyone who needs to be taught that a nod means a yes?

And what's with that unfaithful loss of gold coins.

How was I to know that would happen?

" I know that am quite handsome but that shouldn't make you that harsh. Harsh to the extent of making me loss two gold coins. Two gold coins!sigh! What a loss!"

Where is this world heading to?" the fatty said while shaking his head in disbelief.

" So pay up!"

" Here you go." the small guy passed two gold coins to the fatty.

" At least you aren't shameless like that Elder."

" I know right!" the slim guy said while lifting his small chest high.

" You can't underestimate how think people's skins are in this era!" the two walked away talking in bits.

" Let's continue with the tests." Snapped elder Lu.

" Do you remember the other elder who made me lose two gold coins?"the fatty said.

" Of course! That old man who used cow ghee to appear younger than he actually was?" the slim guy inquired.

" Oh yeah! That's the man! You know, I asked him to compensate me but do you know what he did?"

" What this time?"

" You won't believe it. The Elder just kept on admiring my handsome face and after being caught red-headed,all he did is bark like a dog. You won't believe."

" Shameless! Don't worry Little Small. He will soon compensate us with five hundred gold coins each.Just wait till we triumph as invisible beings in this world." said the slim guy.

" Oh! How could I forget that?Thanks Brother Big." said the fatty.

" " Elder Lu

" " The crowd.

We can hear your voices boys! They are not low at all.

And your story just happened now not some time back. Can you be a little serious?

What's with cow ghee? You're the one who uses cow ghee! your family whole family uses cow ghee! The entire linage uses cow ghee!

This trio would never back down easily.

Soon five people were remaining to partake the test. The two girls Futian had come with, Futian and a girl under a veil together with a handsome young man besides her.

The veiled girl moved forward and placed her hand on the Martial orb. Three halos and a red light glowed. Silence shook the room. This would be legend to be written in records.

" Heaven tier Red! Pass!"

" You have the right to be a core discipline.Do you want to continue with the test?" Elder Lu asked.

" We shall continue with the test! " the handsome young man besides her said nonchalantly.

" Okay! Here is your core discipline token. You just need to place a drop of your blood on it to verify your identity."

There was no answer. Receiving the token the veiled girl took a step back and waited quietly.

The handsome young man also placed his hand on the Martial root orb to take a test.

Soon three halos lit up and a green light glowed and once again silence stormed the room.

" Heaven tier Green! Pass!"

'' You too have the right to be a core disciple. If you wish, you may not undergo the following test."

" We shall go through all procedures." the handsome young man said.

" Okay here is your core disciple token!"

" Let me call upon you three to come and partake in the Martial root test!"

The pretty guy placed her hands on the Martial root orb and slowly three halos lit up and a violent light glowed.

" Heaven tier Violent! Passed!"

" You have qualified to be a core disciple. Here is your token. You can have freedom to stop undergoing the test or continue."

The girl besides the pretty girl placed her hand on the orb and three halos and a green light glowed.

" Heaven tier Green! Passed!"

" The same conditions apply to you. Here are your core disciple tokens."

And lastly Futian moved forward and placed his palm on the orb and immersed his conscious and moved back. One halo, two halos, three ,two . And the lights kept flickering on two and three halos. A gold light glowed and pah a loud noise sounded. The Martial root orb blowed into pieces.

" What the hell?"

" Did you just see that?"

" Of course I did."

" Did that guy just destroy the Martial root orb?"

" Of course he did."

" Damn! these guys are weird."

" Right! first of all, all the last guys have heaven tier Martial roots."

"When talk about that. Do you think the Martial root orb had received a heavy blow on its mind."

" How's that possible?"

" Maybe it's because it saw the Devil's image in him."

" When you talk about it, it seems to be the case."

"The devil's blood must be flowing in his veins."
