1 Introduction

It was said that in the Sunhonghin Imperial Kingdom, there existed a renowned tale of a sorceress who descended from the celestial realm. The sorceress, known as Amaterasu, was revered as a deity of immense spiritual power. The origins of Amaterasu were shrouded in mystery, but the story goes that she constructed Mount Iona with her spiritual energy, intending to use it as a means of returning to the heavens from whence she came. As the mountain reached its peak and touched the heavens, Amaterasu ascended it and was not seen again.

The Mountain of Iona continues to stand tall to this day. Despite numerous attempts, no one has ever succeeded in reaching its summit, not even with the aid of spirits. The formidable currents of air at the peak of the mountain seem to repel all who try to ascend, rendering it seemingly impossible to overcome. As a result, Mount Iona is regarded as a sacred and divine place, and its possession has been fiercely contested by various ancient tribes of Iona.

After two centuries of conflict, the three kingdoms vying for control of Mount Iona decided to unite their strength, giving rise to the mightiest empire in the land of Iona. The Honglung Imperial Kingdom, Nohin, and Sunshin merged to form the Sunhonghin Imperial Kingdom, with the former capital of Nohin serving as the new empire's capital. The royal families of Honglung and Sunshin relocated to Oden, the capital city, where they established their rule.

The reigning monarch of Nohin, Suzaku Ryusen, extended a cordial greeting to the royal families of Honglung Imperial Kingdom (the Sheng family) and Sunshin (the Choi family) upon their arrival in the nation's capital.

As Sunhonghin ascended the ranks of global powers, eventually achieving a position among the three greatest states in Zeon, its rapid rise to prominence elicited fear and mistrust from the alliance of southern states. Tensions between Sunhonghin and the southern alliance were strained, as the latter sought to diminish the former's influence through military action, in an effort to curb its potential as the preeminent power in Zeon.

A new, larger conflict has erupted, involving not just the nations of Iona, but all the states of Zeon.
