2 Chapter 2.

Well, being in the body of a six-year-old wasn't as bad as I initially thought.

One of the first benefits that I received was the memories of the body that I now inhabited.

From what the memories told me I was a recent orphan in Glory City and by recent, I mean about a year. It was extremely hard for the child to survive as when his parents died, he didn't have any relatives to take care of him so the house and most of the money that his parents had was stolen by adults and the child himself was left on the streets to fend on his own.

The kid was named Tian Shi and for the last year he has tried to survive while living on the streets as you could tell from my arrival, he was not successful.

My body has healed a little when I inhabited it but it is still in mostly the same awful condition as he was in before, but I had enough strength to move around and as he died during the night I presume it was because of the cold weather.

I immediately used the memories of the kid to find a great place where I could set up my shop, I could just place it at my current location even if I was in an alleyway as the shop would just destroy all the nearby buildings that were in the way, but I wanted to place my shop in a place where it could be more accessible.

After walking for about an hour in the early morning in the streets of Glory City I finally found a place where I was willing to place my shop.

It was on the main street and would probably receive enough customers in such a place. The place that I found didn't even have a building on it so my shop wouldn't what to demolish it.

I went on to the land and triggered the ability that I could feel in the back of my mind, always present never leaving a new kind of arm and leg.

As soon as I triggered the ability my surroundings changed and I found myself in a store. It didn't look like any building that I saw while walking the street instead of the ancient Chinese architecture it looked like a mix of various styles combined seamlessly into one building.

Although I was only in one room and so was able to only see one style, I was able to perceive the entire shop and saw that it had various rooms and each one of them was unique. Some had typical European design while others had more unique ones, some looked like the inside of a space ship while other rooms looked like vast forests were fit into a single room.

From what I could perceive the building was only about 40 meters wide on the outside but on the inside, it looked like an entire city. I guess that it compressed space so this could happen.

Now that I was inside the building I immediately felt a sense of peace as the building granted me invincibility and I know that even gods wouldn't be able to harm me inside my own shop.

But after calming down from the sudden high I returned to reality. Although I was inside the shop and thus was invincible and wouldn't die, but I was still hungry and was slightly injured and that wasn't a comfortable feeling.

I used my authority to have my shop deliver me a full meal of food. The shop struggled for a bit before only giving me various vegetables and fruits.

Haa, yeah it wouldn't be that easy the shop didn't even have a dining hall now and could only give me the raw materials, but even a fruit could be good enough for the starved body that hasn't eaten a full meal in a year.

Even though I didn't need any more food while I was inside the store and I could already feel the store healing and returning my body to its full capability, I still wanted to enjoy some food.

After having a full meal, I used my authority to move myself to my private quarters. My private quarters were extremely large in and of themselves they were at least one percent of the entire shop and as the shop was as big as a city the private quarters weren't anything to sneeze at. I wasn't worried about the shop or the customers as the shop had an automatic system that allows the shop to run on its own.

For now, I was laying on my bed while thinking about the world that I found myself in.

The shocking thing is that I recognize the world that I am in from my last life's memories.

The world is from a Chinese cultivation novel called Tales of Demons and Gods.

I recognize the world but I don't know most of the details about it as I have dropped the Manga and didn't read the novel and that in and of itself was three to four years ago.

But fortunately, I remember most of the plot and know that the world isn't as dangerous as you would expect. And by not dangerous I of course mean that it is not dangerous when compared to other cultivation worlds it is at most at the mid-tier in terms of strength.

I shouldn't even worry about this as I would be spending most of my time inside the store and nothing could touch me. Most would be distraught if they have to spend most of their time alone but I know that I could manage as there would be plenty of things that I could do for entertainment mostly by reading books that my store contains.

And that is exactly what I did, I used my authority to select one of the books that was in my store's bookstore section. I didn't really actively pick out a book but only used authority to command the shop to give me one that I would like.

My shop although wasn't sapient it still had its own kind of intelligence and it could select a book that I would like to read. As soon as the book appeared in my hand I was prepared to enjoy a good book.

Unfortunately, it would look like I would be disappointed as I don't understand anything that was written inside the book. Although the kid has learned some of the world's language, he was only a child and as such he didn't receive the full education from his parents and that not even knowing if his parents themselves were able to read.

No problem for me I could finally check how my Point worked, so I commanded the store to use my points to teach me how to read the worlds language. Unfortunately it would seem that i don't have enough to learn the language.

It would take me a few more hours for the shop to generate enough points for my language package.

I didn't really want to waste my time sitting around and doing nothing so I decided to enjoy the bed that my private quarters have.

I wasn't disappointed the bed was as soft as I had imagined it to be and I was quickly able to fall asleep even though my body didn't need sleep while I was inside the store.
