13 Chapter 13.
Okay, people I will be making the World very AU as I keep looking into the Story and Wiki, I keep finding inconstant information. In one sentence they say that once you surpass Legend rank you can live for eternity and in the next, they say that even after reaching the pinnacle of cultivation you can only live for 300 years. So, I am making a decision to completely ignore some parts of the story as the more you read the more messed up the world-building of TDG becomes. I don't think that my story will even go to the Draconic Ruin Realm and instead go to a different Higher Realm or even focus on the Divine Continent. If you have any other opinions you can comment and I might change it.

POV Yu Yan.
The war 10.000 years ago devastated the land and lasted for hundreds of years.
The battle wasn't only between the Spiritual Gods as although they were strong and could do a lot of damage just with their casual swings being able to kill a dozen cultivators of lower realms.
No, the battle was so devastating because it involved every single being from both sides. The humans although more organized weren't comparable to the sheer number of Demons Beasts and their higher body strength.
Although most of the Demons Beasts were dumb and couldn't plan and only relied on their instincts, they were led by a Legend rank Demon Beast who was able to unlock his Spiritual Wisdom thus gaining the intellect of a human.
Over the course of only a few hundred years, the power of both sides became less and less. Even the very land they fought on became toxic and filled with miasma one of them was called the Nine Layered Death Land.
Both sides suffered heavy casualties the humans and beasts lost their inheritances and it would take thousands of years to regain their previous power.
In the final battle that happened in the Nine Layer Death Lands both sides used all their power. Hundreds of Legend Rank Cultivators on both sides and countless lower rankled cultivators to increase the numbers.
Millions of beings died in that battle and the battle lasted many months but finally when both sides were exhausted and even some Spiritual Gods died permanently with their Divine Spark Destroyed. The final battle between the Spiritual Gods happened.
The battle was devastating and lasted a whole day but in the end, the human Spiritual Gods won but their victory was bittersweet her own body was destroyed and her Divine Spark Scattered but for some mysterious reason she was able to still live.
Somehow after many years her Divine Spark reformed inside a cave and she was finally able to start reforming her body. What would have initially taken her only a hundred years took much longer as she could feel the power of law and the energy of the world has become much weaker resulting in her power recovering at much slower speed.
And if that wasn't enough when she was trying to reform her body it would sometimes attract powerful Demon Beasts who ate her body to increase their cultivation. She was lucky that after the second time that it happened, she was found by some human cultivators and she was able to trick the into creating an array that would sacrifice their lives in return creating a powerful defensive array that would protect her body.
Sure, their initial power wasn't strong enough to create such an array but after helping them increase their power with the help of her knowledge she was able to use them for the array.
After that, she was finally able to start rebuilding her body in peace with no interruptions. It was only a few years later that the array stopped being able to function with only the energy input by the Cultivators and started to drain her own energy to continue to work.
Sure, she could have stopped supplying it the energy and continued to rebuild her body but that would mean that her location would be exposed and she would probably be eaten by a powerful Demons beast again.
It meant that when previously it would only take her at most a thousand years to reform her body now it would be guaranteed that it would take her a thousand years at the lowest amount.
It was thousands of years latter when she finally saw the only other person she has ever seen.
He walked into her cave and picked up the Interspatial rings that were left over from the previous cultivators.
He had Orange hair and looked no older than 15 years old but that wasn't what shocked her no that would be that he has already reached the peak of Legend rank and if he was given the method of Power of Law he could breakthrough in an extremely short amount of time.
Over the last thousand years, she has started to regret her decision of killing all the cultivators that helped her. She could have used their help to rebuild her body at a much faster speed but she just couldn't let go of her pride the only reason why she decided to kill all of them was that a few of them had lustful thoughts for her and she couldn't let that go.
Anyway, she decided to appear and try to negotiate for his help.
But as soon as she appeared he instantly looked at her location and asked with no hesitation seemingly knowing the answer already.
"Are you the Spiritual Goddess of Fire Yu Yan?"
She was stunned. How did he know who she was did some of the previous cultivators leave records of her existence? That might be the case.
"Yes. You should be lucky to meet me now that you have reached the limit of cultivation. It can be called fate that we meet as I can shine a way forward in your journey of cultivation all I ask in return is your help in regaining my body."
"I don't care for you all you have to do is teach me the method of the Power of Law that my Master wants to know and I might help you a little."
She wanted to argue but her personality over the years has mellowed and now she is not even affected by such comments. She knows that after he sees the power he can gain with the Power of Law he will help her.
After that, she started to teach him the method of detecting the Power of Law. He didn't need any other preparations and only needed a method to detect the Power of Law to start cultivating it.
After she started cultivating, he was able to quickly detect and induct a small part of the Power of Law into his body.
After he was finished, he was seemingly satisfied and ready to leave. She was a little distressed but remembered that he promised to help her for the method of Power of Law.
Sure, enough before leaving he reached next to the barrier and presented her with two items.
"These are the two items that I will give you as payment. The first is a ring that contains various pills that could help you with your recovery the second is a portable entrance to my Masters Store. You are lucky that my Master has deigned to give you such a generous gift. If you are interesting enough my master might even give you a chance to submit yourself to him."
She was a little disgusted by his last remarks but the pills would certainly be helpful for her recovery.
After she opened a hole in the barrier allowing him to pass the item through, seemingly satisfied he leaves almost immediately.
Over the next month and a half, she consumes all the Pills in the ring and her body's recovery is almost complete and will only take a hundred years at most to complete the process.
Seemingly satisfied she picks up the other object that she was left with. For the last month and a half she didn't interact with it but now that she has finished the Pills she was a little curious.
After picking up the item and trying to think of its uses she was immediately presented with many options that this portable Store allowed her to do.
The first function and the one that was the only different one is that she could use the Store with her consciousness and not have to enter the Store physically and after her purchase was complete she would use the item as an interspatial ring and take her purchase out of the ring.
And possibly that was the only difference as all the other things functioned the same.
After that, she used her consciousness to look through the options that were sold in the store.
At first, she thought that this might be a new invention made during the time she was regaining her body but after perusing the Store she was able to discover that it was much more than that.
Just by looking through the Information on Cultivation Techniques, she was stunned at what she saw. There was information about the Power of Law and even realms higher than the one she has achieved.
Now she wondered why did Nie Li asked her about information about the power of law when his own master had information that was much more in-depth than her own.
From what she was seeing he had information about how to use the Power of Law to surpass her own cultivation realm and the Store even had information about how to cultivate to a higher realm without using the Power of Law.
She tried to read one of the books but all she got was the general information and her compatibility with the technique.
After that, she tried to buy the technique but when she was trying to pay, she saw that she had nothing to pay with well at least nothing to pay that was monetary.
She was a little embarrassed about her inability to pay but she hoped that she will be able to make a deal with Nie Li's Master to let her get some more Pills for her recovery. For now, all she wanted was to see how the buying process worked.
When she was about to return and somehow try to contact Nie Li's Master through the ingenuous device she saw that there were other options that she could use to pay.
As soon as she selected alternative payment options, she saw that there were multiple currencies some that she recognized and others she didn't.
But as she looked through more of the options, she was becoming a little terrified she knows that Nie Li's Master was strong but she has only seen some of these abelites used by a single Spiritual God and usually, they were their trump cards.
She has seen the God of Death draining the lifespan out of others to preserve the life of some of his subjects as he himself didn't need any as all Spiritual Gods were immortal.
But some of the abilities she sees for the first time to drain out a person's stamina or cultivation and the most terrifying of them all was the ability to sell yourself into Slavery.
She has never seen such an ability the only one that she knows has a similar ability is the Spiritual God of Charms who could control the actions of those weaker than her but this wasn't permeant and could be broken by those with sufficient willpower or high enough cultivation.
She could even use her own Cultivation to buy more things from the Store.
Now she is extremely curious about what has happened to the outside world while she was recovering that would be all well and good if she had enough money to buy even the cheapest history book.
After thinking about how she could buy anything from the Store she thought about using the water of the Black Spring although it is not that precious it has been contaminated with her power over the years.
And as the cheapest history book only cost a few Low-level Demons Cores and her water should be more valuable than a mere Bronze rank demon core.
Sure enough, she used only a few cups of water and she was able to buy a History Book of the world and then she started reading extremely curious about the changes in the world since her disappearance.

Okay, people I have four ideas for the next chapter I will let you vote on it but I still have the choice to do something else or write a completely different chapter if I don't get any inspiration.

1. Continue the Pov of Yu Yan.
2. A Pov of one of the History researchers of Glory City and his discovery of people outside of Glory City through the books from MCs Store. (Personally my favorite one.)
3. Return to the MCs Pov. (Will be pretty boring don't have any ideas for it)
4. Pov from Nie Li and how he has traveled and distributed chain Stores all over the Divine Continent. (Could combine with option 2 somehow.)
