28 The True Objective

Fire Nation Colony at the South Pole. Surveillance Port.

"How long do you think it will take him to exterminate all the southern villages?"

"Less than ten hours, they'll raze this place to the ground, and they might end up relocating us to the north, where there are still enemies to face."

"Haha, finally, we can return to a warmer place."

Without these people realizing it, the shores of the island where the colony was located began to churn, and minutes later, dozens of submarines emerged one after another.

When the submarine hatches were open, hundreds of Water Nation soldiers emerged one after another, holding long ice spears in their hands.

The faces of those on watch turned completely pale, and as they were about to report, several spears were thrown in their direction.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

All the watchmen were completely pierced by the spears, and their bodies fell backward inside the wall.

"Destroy everything, keep the soldiers, and wait for orders for the prisoners of war who surrender," Brad said, looking at the walls of the enemy colony.

There will be no hope for these people.

Their end was established.

All the enemies who have tortured their people deserve to die.

"We're under attack; call all the warriors still remaining on the island."

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The ice-wielding warriors skillfully knocked down the gates; this invasion was planned to be in four completely different directions to prevent the enemy from escaping this place.

Any hostile figure threatening the lives of the warriors invading this island had to be killed, regardless of their age.

In war, they had learned not to spare the heart; they had all been massacred, and no one had opposed the genocides committed by these people, so they would return the favor with the same weight.

Brad watched the agony of the soldiers running for their lives; he saw the fear in the people hiding in their homes, and he knew this was the same thing he suffered as a child when his village was attacked by these people.

"Hey, village boy, have you ever considered what would happen when our emperor realizes what's happening here? You'll all die by his hand; he won't leave anyone alive, and I'll rejoice from my grave when I hear of your deaths," said a Fire Nation soldier while coughing blood.

"Your emperor? If your emperor steps off his throne, then we'll cut off his head, but there won't be any need for him to move because we'll personally go visit him, just as we have in this place. And one more thing, you won't have a grave," said Brad before cutting off the soldier's head with his ice sword.

"Aaaahhhhh!!!"

Boom!

Brad watched as some of the houses began to catch fire from the same fire as these soldiers, and he shouted, "Make sure to put out that fire; we won't give the enemy a chance to gain power."

"Understood!"

Slowly, the Water Nation warriors trained by Thorian were massacring the younger warriors who had stayed behind in this place, and capturing this city slowly proceeded without any problem.

Brad had a great responsibility to take this city before the Fire Nation fleet returned; he had to make sure to place every civilian from this colony in front of the fleet and threaten them with ending their lives.

"For our future, we will pay with blood for all your senseless invasions."

Slowly, the surroundings filled with corpses; the warriors Thorian had trained were doing what they knew best, and that was killing.

Civilians who showed no resistance were dragged to the main square, and those who resisted were killed.

Perhaps those who hadn't lived with this war for a long time might have trouble killing, but those who had witnessed the deaths of their parents or siblings at the hands of these people who invaded their country had absolutely no problem killing them.

This is war, not a playground.

Every war ends when one side is completely massacred.

No one forgets all the atrocities done to them, especially when they have been trained for five years for this day.

Scared? Guilty?

No one felt any of that; everyone was very clear that this was the only path they could use to gain an advantage in this war.

"Search thoroughly; make sure no one is left alive or hidden," Brad shouted, watching the heads roll on the ground of those soldiers who resisted.

If they live in an illusion, they will be killed; the truth now is that the Water Nation has risen in power and is now seeking revenge without considering anything other than killing.

The violent reaction of all the ice-wielding warriors might have been very impressive to many, but they had lost everything.

Now that they have the chance to return the pain they have felt for years, they won't waste it.

In less than half an hour, the entire colony had fallen into the hands of the Water Nation, and their flags dancing proudly in the wind were eliminated.

"Listen very well; if you follow what I say, I won't kill anyone else. You are the plague we have to eliminate, so as long as you cooperate, no one else will die," Brad suddenly shouted, hearing all those cries that only disgusted him.

At that moment, a group of soldiers approached and reported, "Sir, it seems that the enemy fleet is returning."

"Send the signal; our fleet must be ready to ambush them from behind," Brad said, and at that moment, all the civilians living in this place along with their warrior spouses were dragged to the walls controlled by the Water Nation warriors.
