3 Chapter 2: Lost

When I woke up I found my self lost in a frost surrounded by green vegetation and many tall trees with only my name and age as I wonder through the forests to find a trail as I walk I saw many animal hybrids that seem interesting as I continued to walk I still can't find anything so I decided to climb the biggest tree I could find to get a better view of my surroundings. Once I climbed to the top I see a trail a few miles away as I headed towards it all I can hope is to find someone and get them to explain where I was after a bit I have finally reached the side of the trail though is seemed closer at the top of the tree it only took me while to get here as I would fallowed trail until I reach a town or something it soon started to get dark. As the sun was setting I decided to climb a tree for the night and continue the rest of my journey tomorrow.

As I was shutting my eyes and drift into to sleep I then felt something shacking as if the earth it self was moving as I start looking at my surroundings I started to hear crashes and seeing bright flames light up the frost. I soon climb down from the tree and rushing towards the sound and the bright light. I then come a cross two people a mask man in a red and black suit of armor throwing flame's from his fist to an old man covered in ripped and burnt clothing with a straw hat on his head he then began to throw large boulders of earth back to the red armored man. As I see this I decided to hid in one of the surrounding bush to see the battle as my eye widened in surprise seeing two people controlling different elements. The longer I watch the two the more I become absorbed in the fight as I saw waves of flames coming from the armored man's feet aiming at the old man's neck but as he saw this he created a wall of earth to block the flame kick as the two moves collide a huge smoke screen appeared the armored man took on his stance was waiting for his opponent next move. As the armored man was waiting he sees three medium rock that were thrown through the smoke surprising him as the doges the first two but the last one hitting him in the chests as it hits him he began to cough up a bit of blood through his mask making him seem more terrifying as he is already was as his screams were herd in pain letting out a large flame breath attack towards the old man he then creates a earth dome around him to protect him from the harsh heat of the flames. As I see their fight becoming increasingly intense I choose to get further back from them to not get in cross fire as soon as I step back I stepped on some twigs as the sound could be heard by both men they both launched a fire ball and boulder at my direction as I see this coming I lift my arms up and cross them getting ready for impact to only feel nothing as I open my eye I saw a large earth wall form in front of me taking the hit.

As I am in shocked that I did that the exact same move the old man did in the beginning to protect himself self I soon realized that the wall that I had created started to crumble and brake from their attack as the wall fell both men were both in shock seeing a kid in the frost spying on them. As both men look at me and the back at each other the armored man rush at me with flames coming from his feet increasing his speed by several folds as I saw this I could not do nothing but let him grab me from my neck and hold as a shield. He then scream at the old man "let me go or I'll burn one of your dirt people into ash" as he said these words I stiffen up and become scared hoping he is just bluffing but I was wrong as his hand become hotter burning my neck the old man responded "Kid I am sorry but I can not let that man go because you got carelessly and got caught I hope you can forgive me in the after life" soon those words echoed in my head I mumbled to my self "I am dead I am so dead" as the armored man step back and looked at me and told me "what are saying kid?" as soon as he l looks down at me the old man rushed towards us he then created a small boulder from the ground and kicked it towards my directions as he kicks it a small drill is shoot out from the boulder hitting the man's shoulder as it began tearing up his arm in two as I kept holding on to his arm never letting go and the grip around my neck staying the same I closed my eyes as I felt something warm wet on my face as I open my eyes I only saw the man's arm in front of my face dripping blood from were it got severed as I turned around the man is holding his shoulder with his only hand over the wound burning it to stop it from bleeding out. As he was on the floor screaming in pain the old man was still rushing at us he moves the earth around me to restrain the armored man from moving.

As I stood their in shocked trying to understand what was happening I took a second to my self and wondered what got me here to this point. I woke up lost and not knowing anything about my self following the sound and light of a fight between to men only to get captured and then released in a matter seconds with a sever arm in my hands blood on my face from that Point on I knew that this world is a lot more dangerous then is seemed. As I just stood their with a blank face with no care in the world as if I haven't gone through a life and death experience. As I could faintly hear some screaming "hay kid kid kid are you their" it snapped me out of my trance as I look up I saw the old man shacking me back and forth as I barely mumbled out of my mouth "yes" as the old man look at me and he said "kid what are you doing out here far from home" worrying about me all I could do is scream as my minds registered everything as I drop the arm in my hand and started pushing the man away not wanting to die as I got loose from him his tight grip I ran with dear life to get away. As the old man saw this he knew he messed up the kid he saved was most likely 5 or 6 watching him sever the arm of the man that was going to burn him to death and was still holding the arm of a fire nation soldier. As I chased after the boy I realized he was a strong earth bender beings able to stop two attacks from trained professionals. As I chased the boy I noticed he was quit fast he faster then any kid I have seen.

"Got to keep moving got to keep moving" that's all I could thinks about that and not dying from that psycho pathic old man as I ran the old man told me to stop but I did not listen I ran like the wind but as I soon took one more step my foot snack in the earth as I tried to pull my foot out from the ground the old man got closer to me. "I finally got you stop you sure run fast for a kid" as he got closer to me all I cloud think about is what does he want from me as he got closer I put both my hands up as I did so he put a pice of cloth on my arm. I stood their waiting as he said "you might as well clean up you face" as I began to calm down soon I began to wipe my face with the rag he gave me.
