19 Chapter 18: Festival and Training

Blin Badit pov:

After losing for the first time and badly at that, I left the arena before anyone could see my tears.

Wondering how I would explain to my parents how I broke my arm.

Walking back to my villa I decided I would tell them I fell badly on it.

As I arrived my mother saw me holding my arms as she rushed at me asking how I hurt myself and calling for a doctor.

Getting it checked the doctor said it was just a bad sprain and it will heal in a month.

Returning to my room I layed on my bed remembering how outclassed I was in that fight with Jack.

From bending to fighting he beat me in every aspect trying to find a way how I could have done it better.

Realizing that my current self couldn't I began to be lost in my thought as I remembered something.

How did he know I was going to drop the high rise on him?

But soon I hear knocking coming from my door telling the person to come in.

Soon my father came in "heard from your mother you sprained your arm and on your special day"

Forgetting that today was my birthday I got gloomier losing on my birthday.

I was not the badass girl I once thought of myself but a blind naive girl thinking I was the best.

But my father looked at me telling me to cheer up and that I still got the rest of my life to be sad but today it's my day.

Telling me to get ready for tonight he sent me the maids as I got washed and dressed.

Leaving the villa with my parents we got on the chariot and strolled around the town.

Back to Jack's POV:

Seeing the blind bandit's true identity I put it at the back of my head as I enjoyed the rest of the night with Dhara and James.

As the sky began to flash with light with different colors from the fireworks show.

We went back to our inn going to sleep passing the night away.

Waking up seeing that James left for the market me and Dhara went to a nearby forest as I began my training.

But as I got there I heard loud bangs and crashes seeing where the noise came from.

Getting closer I saw the blind bandit training trying to sneak up on her she noticed me.

"How's there!"

Getting spotted I said "it's me Jack" as shock could be seen on her face.

"It's you!"

"Ya, it's me so what are you doing out here by your self Blind Bandit?"

Seeing her up closer I saw the dull-colored eyes on her.

About to ask a question a rock flung at my face seeing that she wanted a fight I did not stop her.

Fine if you just want a rematch I don't mind but you will have to answer my questions if I win Beifong heir.

After speaking these words "how do you know ?"

"I saw you at the festival how could I forget such a weak opponent".

But as soon I uttered these words a frown could be seen on her face.

As we got into our stance she rushed at me with one good arm not trying to hurt her any more than she already was.

Dodging all boulders, fists, and kicks waiting till she got tired.

As she kept attacking me for half an hour straight finally getting winded.

I guess I win so answers my questions keeping her word "what do you want to know?"

"Wow, such attitude for a little thing how could you fight with your blind eyes?"

"I am able to sense the vibration in the ground".

"Ohh so you can do it too?"

Asking "what do you mean too?"

"Like you, I was able to figure it out and send the vibration in the earth around me".

How did you figure it out I asked her response

"one time I got lost and I learned it by some badger moles in the mountains ".

"So you learned by a badger mole as well" whistling for Dhara.

As shock could be seen on her face that some one else could sens vibrations like her.

So that's how you knew I would drop the high rise on top of you.

Nodding my heard answering her question.

Dhara soon came rushing out of the earth as she began to hiss at the girl.

As the girl got in her stance ready to fight Dhara she asked. "what's that?"

This is the badger mole I learned from but she is a mini version of them.

Hearing that animal was a mini badger mole she began walking closer asking if she could touch it.

Telling her she can't due to her being very protective of me from girls

I asked my parents for one but they could not find one due to their rarity.

Hearing this I told her I got very lucky when I found her.

So what should I call you instead of Blind bandit or your family name?

Hearing this just call me Toph.

If you don't mind could I tag along with your training taking this opportunity Toph said yes.

As morning charged to the afternoon, I realized that she had talent in earth bending and that she just lacks a teacher to guide her.

Thinking about I asked if she wanted I could train her to be much stronger.

After speaking these words she said yes alright but my price is a little high.

Don't worry my allowance is quite large alright meet me here tomorrow at the same time.

The next day we meet I told her to lift her arms as she did I put five-pound bracelets on each limb Toph asking to why I did this.

The reason is to build your strength so that bending becomes easier to manipulate.

As we trained time flew by and because of my extended stay James had to depart from us.

Saying our fair wells and Dhara hugged him I wished him luck and a safe journey and hope to see him again soon.
