Chapter 17: Blind Badit vs Jack

"Fight!"

Blind Badit pov:

"This fight is going to be easy".

Knowing that it was a random person from the crowd.

"I going to humiliate him as I did with Boulder".

As I got into my stance as the man named Jack did too.

I created an earth wall as I launched it at him he stood there not moving.

"I can't believe that I scared him already" waiting for him to fall out of the ring.

But as I began to turn away he stopped my attack with one hand feeling the vibration in the ground.

Having a gut feeling that he would give me a challenge a smile formed on my face.

I soon launched two boulders at him but he intercepted it with the wall I attacked him with.

Feeling that he did not move I rushed at him launching a large earth wave at him staying behind my attack to not be seen.

But as my attack got closer to him he just create an edge dome around him standing his ground and not moving an inch from his spot.

My attack passed over him I soon launched earth blades only leaving scratches.

knowing that I had to go big to break his dome I created a large earth spike and kicked at him it getting it stuck as the point pierced in.

Rushing at the back of the spike I surrounded my arm with the earth as I punched it breaking the dome finally.

But once I broke it he still stood in the same spot and I began to get mad.

I surrounded the rest of my body with earth as I confronted him.

Rushing at him swinging my arm at his torso he created a small wall as my fist collided with it.

But the wall did not shatter as I expected at all but a sharp pain could be felt in my arm as if punched a chunk of metal.

As the earth around my hand crumbled I pulled my arm back holding it as I knew I broke something on it.

Stepping back he rushed at me moving for the first time in the battle

Stomping my foot on the ground as I created an earth tremor to make him lose his balance.

But he stomped the ground stopping my move right after as he got closer I tried to kick at him

But as I tried to hit his arm he grabbed my leg and tightened his grip breaking the earth surrounding it.

Trying to pull my leg away from his grasp I began to sink into the ground.

Knowing that if I got stuck in the ground I would lose the fight.

I lifted my one good arm up as I created a high rise causing him to lose his grip.

Getting away from him I began to think for the first time on how to beat my opponent.

But as I started the high rise began to shack he began to throw a volley of punches at it trying to cause it to fall.

Having no choice but to fight him from a distance I pushed the high rise back down trying to surprise him with it.

But for some reason, as I started he moved back as if he knew it was about to fall.

Taking this chance I continuously launched boulders at it trying to over when him.

But he began to spin and turn like a ballerina causing the crowd to laugh.

I got, even more, angrier than what I already was screaming at him "Take me seriously!"

But as these words left my mouth he said "For that to happen you will have to make me feel some type of danger".

Knowing that all the moves I launched at him were either blocked or dogged not lading a hit on him once.

While I am trying to catch my breath with a broken arm.

I would have to try to end this fight quickly but before I could even start he created an earth tremor making me lose my balance and causing me to fall.

As my butt hit the ground I felt something sharp on my neck having no choice I gave up.

As I said these words the whole crowd began to scream.

The announcer was in surprise at seeing the champion lose for the first time to a nobody at that and announced Jack as the winner.

Begging to have tiers in my eye I left the stage going back home.

Back to Jack's POV:

After the fight began I knew I would win but I did not know that my first outside fight would be so disappointing.

I left the stage going to the betting booth to collect my winnings before the crowd tried to attack me.

As I arrived at the old fat man booth asking for my winnings he tried to pretend I did not put a bet.

Getting mad I destroyed his booth taking all the money from the register.

A total of 200 gold coins and 100 silver I took this as I ran to Dhara beginning to be chased by the guards and crowd for their money.

Whistling for Dhara she created a hole where I was seated as I jumped in escaping to the surface.

After escaping from the group of men I reached the surface with Dhara.

Knowing that I can't show my face anymore in the underground arena I began to walk back to Gaoling town.

But as I arrived the townspeople began to decorate the town wondering why I ask one of them.

The man told me that "we are celebrating one of the town's royal family the Beifong family young daughter who has just turned 13 years old today".

Seeing that a festival is going to happen and with my extra income I will enjoy the night with James and Dhara.

Going back to the inn I decided to wash up and get ready for the festival.

After washing up and getting ready I went to look for James.

Finding him in the food district with a stall trying to sell his cabbages still wondering how he had an unlimited supply.

Walking up to him and asking if business is good he told that it was with the festival going on many people are buying my cabbages by the create.

Asking why I have came to meet him I told if he wanted to tag along with me for the festival.

Thinking about he decided he would begin to close the stall and pack everything up.

He told me we would meet up at the town square in an hour as he need to wash up.

Being to walk around seeing food stands be put up along with games too.

I went and bought some takoyaki balls enjoying it as an hour passed I meet up with James.

We enjoyed many different snacks and games while waiting for the main event to start.

Soon night came a large chariot carrying three people was passing through the road.

A tan man with a beard, a woman with pale skin and black hair, and a young girl with a beige dress with green stitching as her hand was warped with a bandage.

As I stared at the girl trying to remember where I have seen it hit me the blind bandit.
