Chapter 10: New training

After naming and feeding Dhara I began walking to the entrance of the as I got closer.

Old Mo told me to take Dhara with me to train her as I began opening the cage, Dhara came out rushing and into the ground.

Realizing how fast she dug into the ground as if she seemed like she was swimming in the water.

I soon began seeing a trail of dirt move around on the top surface of the earth.

She was enthusiastic about being able to go in the earth as I began walking away Dhara began following.

Leaving the cave I began my warm-ups while Dhara was playing in the ground.

I saw her cute furry head up once in a while making sure I was nearby.

Starting to stare at her I remember the words Old Mo told me about Dhara

"Remember the badger moles are far-sighted only being able to see a few feet in front of them"

"But why?" asking "Because they spend most of their time in the ground causing their eyes to almost stop working completely"

I soon began being curious on how she was able to dig and know where she was going.

As I began thinking on reason how she was able to maneuver in the ground.

At first, I thought it was her strong hearing but I trow that away.

Continuing my warm-up and starting my training I began to wonder how she was able to do it.

One month passed and I could not get rid of that question in my mind.

Even meditating I still could not stop as I began eating my snacks with Dhara.

My eye soon started to wander around as they fell upon a bird landing on the ground.

Seeing how it pecked the ground doing this continuously as a worm appeared.

Seeing this my mind wondered why a worm would appear from the ground to the surface.

I then started to mimic the bird, by tapping my finger on the ground.

But nothing came up soon I remembered that the bird moved around till it happened.

Beginning to tap all my surroundings and moving to new places I then got a warm to come-up as it stayed there waiting.

But still wondering why they would come up from the same home where they would've been vulnerable to predators.

Thinking about what I said about being attacked by predators realizing something.

Even in the ground worms still had predators knowing that they could not defend or attack but escape.

But not having eyes but only a tiny mouth the only way for them to survive is to escape.

Wondering if they could sense them approaching them.

As one question was answered another was created on how could they sense.

Losing myself in my thought I began feeling the ground around me shack as I turn to the source.

I saw Dhara moving the earth around coming closer to me as she popped her head out with worms in her mouth.

It then hit me the worms felt the vibration of the earth moving to sense the predators around them.

I then found out how Dhara maneuvered so we'll.

Wanting to do this in battle having the ability to see where you could not before aroused my interest.

As I called for Dhara she soon pops out looking at me and noticing her I told her to dig around me and I'll began flowing her.

I wrapped a piece of cloth around my eyes only seeing darknesses.

Beginning to follow the ground shake with my feet as I moved little by little in the same direction as Dhara.

Doing this my senses sharpen as my mind enhanced

the rest of my senses mainly my touch and hearing.

Still following Dhara for the rest of the day getting a better understanding as time passed.

Taking a break and seeing the sun residing in the night going back to the cave to sleep.

Sleeping the night away as the morning came I soon began my new training from day to night.

Practicing even in the cave making Old Mo wonder what I was doing.

Small progress began to show every month and in the fifth month, I bang seeing the vibration in the ground as it surrounds anything that it contacts tho seeing a faint picture.

After making much progress I began to wonder how I will it would become when I master it.

Six months have passed and I am now 7 years old I have finally been able to see in 10 feet around diameter.

Also being able to see the vibration with my own movements.

Having some mastery over it I was able to be more efficient and accurate with my bending.

being able to attack from multiple places overwhelming my opponents.

I soon went back to my regular training using this ability whenever I can even when sparing with Old Mo.

I have even scared him at times when he could not predict where I would strike him from.

As pillars began to rise from nowhere only missing by him by a hair.

He soon began getting scared of what a little demon he has created with his harsh regiment.

Soon time began to pass as I became a low-class bending master.

Having more free time I soon remember I forgot to thank Wu for the medicine.

Notifying Old Mo that I'll be going back to the spirit realm.

Old Mo told me to be careful when I go telling me about evil spirits that could harm me promising I'll try to stay clear from them.

Staying in the cave meditating not wanting my body to be defenseless to predators in the forest.

As I began crossing my legs and staying on my bed as I drifted away.

Opening my eyes seeing I was in a forest I began to walk on a path following it.

On the path, I began calling for Wu as I called nothing happened continuing to call for Wu every once and a while.

Seeing that it was worthless I began just walking trying to sense him with my vibration as nothing happened.

Not noticing time was passing by I soon felt something near me rushing towards it.

Hoping for it to be Wu leaving out of the bushes I saw a large black beast the size of a polar bear with features of a wolf.

Standing there as it turned around I saw its face covered with red paint with green eyes with silted pupils and with large yellow teeth.

Knowing that I could not attack it I ran as soon as he saw me finding out that this is one of the evil spirits Old Mo told me to watch out for.

Chasing after me he swung its paws at my back missing by inches as it jumped towards me.

Seeing the spirit via vibration jumping at me I forced myself to stop as I roll on the ground as the spirit jumps over me.

I soon got up and started heading in a different direction running and never turning back as I began seeing water hoping to cross a lake and escaping

But as I got closer I realize it was the edge of a cliff either getting eaten alive or have a few broken bones I choose the latter.

Seeing the spirit getting closer to me I jumped wondering how Old Mo would be after he sees me not wake up.

Beginning to reminisce about my time with Old Mo getting closer to the ground.

Closing my eye ready to hit the ground as I suddenly stop seeing that the ground stopped moving I look at one of my legs.

Seeing a root holding me In place as I looked around I saw Wu right In front of me waved his arm downward.

Starting to putting me on the ground I thanked him for saving my life he then asked why I have come back.

"I wanted to thank you for handing me the medicine" looking in ah he saw a human being thankful after so long that he was shocked.

After landing on my feet Wu started walking towards me ready to put his palm on my forehead ready to send me back.

As I scream "wait" he stood right in front of me asking "why".

"The reason why I have came here is for you I was hoping to learn some of your medicine-macking knowledge if you would allow me"

As Wu stood there staring at me as if he was looking at my soul.

But unknown by Jack he was Wu was making sure Jack was telling him the truth.

Seeing that Jack had no ill intentions he began reaching in from his shirt pulling out a book as he tossed it to Jack

Reading the cover saying medicines for beginners looking back at Wu thanking him for the book.

"There are 5 books you have gotten the first one comes back in a year and I'll hand you the second one"

Seeing him come towards me putting his palm on my forehead sending me back.
